Embrace The New Year!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! As we move forward and the New Year approaches, we give thanks to God for this past year! With all of it's ups and downs, we are still blessed beyond measure. We also, forgive the not so good things we did and embrace the things that we are most proud of. We leave this year in the past, and look forward to the new year with lots of love and excitement! We must understand that in order to have a wonderful new year full of blessings, that we must look to this new year with a positive mind. Our positive thoughts come from God. We have the ability to make this year the best one yet. It's a new opportunity! A new time to decide to take action instead of waiting on our circumstances to change. Be Blessed!

Christmas Gift Suggestions....

Good Morning Christian Peeps! For Christmas this year why not consider these Christmas gift suggestions: To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart.

To a customer, service. To all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect. Oren Arnold This Christmas, instead of trying to find the "right" gift, just give the "best" gift! The Gift of Love! When we give love, we give Jesus! Merry Christmas from Christian Peeps! I Pray Blessings On You All!

He Is In The Stillness!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I Kings 19:11-12 Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD.” And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. This passage is part of the story about how Elijah after having been used of God to destroy 450 prophets of Baal but when Queen Jezebel threatened to kill him, he ran away and hid. Why is it that we can believe God for some things but not for others? Elijah had, with the help of God destroyed all those prophets but when confronted with one person didn't feel adequate. The scripture denotes that sometimes we expect to find God to move as a great wind or earthquake or fire.....but we simply need only to be still.....He's in the stillness! God is not in the chaos of this world! He is in the stillness and in the peace! Be Blessed!

Finding Christ In The Chaos!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We all know it's Christmas. We find ourselves this time of year, every year on the fast track. Running here, running there, trying to get ready for Christmas. But I wonder if during our running, our weariness, our chaotic lives if we take the time to find Christ. If we look closely enough we will see that Christ is in the midst of all this chaos we know as Christmas. There is the widow who gets a knock at the door and someone brings her the food that she didn't think she would have. Or the children whose Mom cried herself to sleep the night before because she couldn't pay her bills must less buy presents for her children; who then wakes up to find presents on the front porch. Or maybe it's the lonely Grandmother in the nursing home who expects to spend another Christmas alone; but then a stranger visits and spends hours just talking to her. Yes, Christ is in the midst of the chaos; He is in all of us who will let Him use us to provide for that family in need or the lonely Grandmother. For Christ birthday, why not reach out to someone in need? Why not be the Christ in someone's Chaos this Season? That would be the best gift we could give our Lord. It is his desire that we feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and shelter the homeless! Be Blessed!

Beauty For Ashes...

Good Morning Christian Peeps! You know the Bible speaks about how God will give us Beauty for Ashes...well what we all need to understand is that we must first be willing to give up our Ashes in order for him to give us the Beauty. Isaiah 61 talks about how if we are suffering from an emotional wound that the Lord is willing and able to give us Beauty for Ashes, Oil of Joy for our mourning, and a Garment of Praise for our despair! How awesome is that! We allow the enemy so many times to cause us to focus on the Ashes so much that we can't even see the Beauty God has to offer much less even imagining it. The dictionary defines ashes as the residue of something destroyed; deathlike and beauty as something or a person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction. We have a choice in which one we want to walk in today. What will you choose? Be Blessed.

Practice Makes Perfect!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We have heard all of our lives that practice makes perfect! Well, that same principle can be applied to our walk with God. We need to practice our Bible reading so that we know what the word says. We need to practice prayer so that we get better at it. We need to practice our daily walk....not submitting to temptation, remaining steadfast and improving our faith. By concentrating on these things, we will become better at them. Let these things become a bigger part of our lives. Be Blessed!

Love Letter From Jesus!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  Letter from Jesus.... "Dear Loved One, soon it will be my birthday.  This year I would love it if you would just talk to me more.  I wait patiently everyday to see if you will give me a moment but you seem really busy!  I have so many things I would like to share with you, if you could just stop what you are doing a moment and listen.  I want to share with you my ideas for your future, but I guess there is just too much going on, with you getting ready for Christmas!  I hope this year you will take the time to share me with someone.  That is such a good gift for anyone.  Your children, husband, family and friends.  Sometimes I think you are getting ready to share me with a co-worker but then you just continue on with your work.  I love you so much and want only the best for you.  I see you struggling but you want ask me for help.  You are always talking to your friends about what you should do...but you never ask me what I think.  Please remember me this year!  With all the presents and the eating and the football.....please remember me!  Don't forget that I died for you!  I love you so much that I gave my life for you!  I am going to close now.  May this year be all that you hoped it would be.  And when you need me I am always there!  Love Jesus"

Look For The Open Door!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us."~ Alexander Graham Bell With the new year fast approaching, we must challenge ourselves to leave this year behind permanently. This year is slowly taking it's place in History. We can learn from this past year but we can't stay in this past year. We must embrace the new year and look forward to what this year will bring. We must look expectantly toward this new year believing that it will far surpass this last one! We have the power to set ourselves up for a wonderful, new, and exciting year! Leave the door closed, and look with great anticipation to the new year! God's blessings await each and everyone of us! Be blessed!

God Will Provide!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There are so many people during this time of year who feel lost because they cannot provide food much less presents for their families. But God knows what they have need of. He will supply their needs and may use us to do it. We need to be sensitive this Christmas season, ask God to show us a family in need. That would be a great gift to give Jesus for his Birthday. If we all adopted a family, imagine how many families would not go hungry this season! Let the love of God flow through us into someone else's life. That is after all what it's all about! Be Blessed!

Luke 12:22-29

And He said to His disciples, "For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing? Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds! And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life's span? If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith! And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying.

God's Eyes!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  “If I accept you as you are, I will make you worse; however if I treat you as though you are what you are capable of becoming, I help you become that.” Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe  When we can see people the way God made them, then we can help them to become just that!  We have the power to pour into other's lives.  To encourage them with words of encouragement and love.  To help them see what God sees.  To help them see what God created them to be!  Look around today and see through God's eyes!  Then act accordingly.  Be Blessed!

Sing A New Song!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Just like David, we can sing a new song unto the Lord. We can make up the words to a new song to sing to the Lord. David sang praises that he had composed to God and he also sang made up prayers to get God's attention. We too can customize our songs and prayers to fit our needs. The Bible says that the Lord inhabits our praises. Began to sing praises unto the Lord....we don't have to be singers to sing. God honors what comes from our hearts. Pray a prayer from our hearts today and watch the Lord provide for that prayer! Let what is in your heart come out! God wants to bless us today! Be Blessed!

Before They Call, I Will Answer!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Isaiah 65:24 24And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. God is so good. He is eager to help us! In the beginning, Adam and Eve had everything. He did not want them to be without anything. That was His love for them in action. But when they disobeyed Him, He could no longer just give them what they needed. Because they had opened the door to free will, they must now ask for what was needed. His enthusiasm for giving us what we need has not gone away...but now we must go to Him and ask. But take a look at the scripture....before they call, I will answer, and while they are yet speaking, I will hear! Awesome God! I imagine Him on the edge of his seat, so to speak, just waiting for us to ask Him for something and before we can even get it completely out of our mouths, he is already answering.... Today, God wants to answer our prayers. He is just waiting for us to ask Him for what we need! Ask, believe and receive! Be Blessed!

Evenutally We Make Our Mark!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Constant dripping hollows out a stone. Lucretius No matter how bad we want to quit sometimes.... if we just keep on keeping on....eventually we make our mark. Eventually we hone out a place for ourselves that wasn't there before. Eventually we succeed simply because we did not give up. Over time what we are doing will matter but we won't ever see it if we choose to give up. Someone will never be able to enjoy it because we gave up. No one will know about it because we gave up! Don't give up.....we are making the hollows a little at a time! Be Blessed!

Are We Paying Attention!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What I know is: when we have a good thought or idea... write it down. When that voice inside us speaks....listen. When we are impressed to do something good....do it. When we feel happy ....go with it. Sometimes we miss the little things and it's those things that are the markers for what we are to do and how we are to do it. Listening is one of the best tools we can have. Pay attention today to the little signs. They will lead us to the right path. Be Blessed!
