Our Value
Good Morning Christian Peeps! "You are always a valuable, worthwhile human being, not because anybody says so, not because you're successful, not because you make a lot of money, but because you decide to believe it and for no other reason." Wayne Dyer And we can add to that and say because God made us so. We were created in God's image which makes us what God is. Which makes us worthwhile. We must own who we are, who God created us to be. We must embrace our worth and our value. When we value ourselves, it is easy for someone else to see the value. Be Blessed!

Christlike
Good Morning Christian Peeps! If being Christlike means taking on the attributes of Christ then our prayer today should be: Dear Lord, Let us see everyone today as you see them. Let us feel from your heart what you feel for them. Let us reach out and help everyone we can like you would do. And let us embrace each person as they are, not as we judge them to be. Dear Lord, give us your spirit, that someone will be better for having been in our presence. Let our intentions be so strong as to move mountains for someone in great need. Let us be swift to forgive recognizing that only by your grace are we lifted up from our failures. Let us extend mercy to others as you would do. Let us put others first. Let us talk less and listen more. Above all let us walk in love, for its the love that encompasses being Christlike. For You are love! Be Blessed!

Love!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! "We are made by love, we are made of love, and we are made for love! Everything is love anyway. Our hate is love turned sour, jealousy is love turned bitter, our fears are love standing upside down, greed is love gone overboard, attachment is love gone sticky." Khurshed Batliwala God is our creator, God is love! He created us with love out of His love. He tells us to love the Lord our God and to love others as we would ourselves! It's all about love. If we can love Him whom we have not seen, then why is it harder to love those we see everyday. The message is and always has been Love! Love for no reason is the only true love. Love for no reason is the Agape love. Love for no reason is just plain powerful love. Love covers a multitude of sins. Love is the highest power there is! All we need is love! Be Blessed!

Practice Makes....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! We've all heard the saying "practice makes perfect", but let's not even put that pressure on ourselves. How about what are we practicing? I believe that we can practice faith, patience, love, etc. I think we forget that what we do focus on the most is what becomes our best. What we give our attention to the most is what is working in our lives. But we don't have to only practice one thing when it comes to the way we live our lives. This is not about focusing on our careers but what we want to accomplish everyday. When we practice loving others we get better at it. When we practice patience we can wait longer in the doctor's office, or at the checkout. And certainly when we practice faith.....we find it easier to trust! We didn't learn to be an expert at walking, riding a bike, cooking or speaking without first doing it over and over again. So being patient or loving more or trusting and having faith also has to be practiced over and over. But as we know, the results are amazing. They can complete our lives in wonderful ways. We can become the people we have always wanted to be. But first we must practice at being what we want to be. Be Blessed!

The Shift
Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is a shift that takes place in our lives when we realize the importance of life. When we understand that most things we strive for are not as important and we begin to seek after that which is more important. We no longer care what people think about us, but what God thinks of us. We no longer search for happiness in things but create happiness within ourselves. We no longer want to take but feel a longing to give. We get off the sidelines and propel ourselves into the game. We recognize our purpose and embrace it. Then and only then can we obtain the fullness of why we are here. Then and only then do we begin to live! Be Blessed!

What Makes Us Happy? ....Purpose
Good Morning Christian Peeps! What makes us happy? What is it that keeps us going day after day? So many of us search for that purpose that we know is within us. We were all given a purpose when we were created, but once we pushed into this big world, we forgot our true purpose because it didn't line up with what others thought we should be. So we began to change into what the society told us we should be. Instead of embracing our true self that God created, we began to EGO- Edge God Out. We began to think we knew better than God what we should do therefore losing ourselves and our purpose altogether. But we can get it back. The simplest way to know what your true purpose is; is to look at what makes you happy. What is it that is in that deep part of you that only you and God know about that truly makes you happy. Every time you think about it or do it....it gives you a sense of inspiration, excitement and elation! Is is something that when shared with others, creates joy and encouragement and life! That is God's purpose! When we find that missing piece to our puzzle, then it all comes together and we began to live once again from our heart and not our EGO. We began to move toward God, not away from him. We were once lost, but now we are found, we truly were blind, but now we see! Recognize the purpose living within and began living again! Be Blessed!

The Freedom Speech!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. day, here is a portion of one of his famous speeches. In order to see change in our lives and in our country we have to stand up and make a difference. We have to have the courage to do the right thing in the face of controversy. We must not let injustices stand when we can do something about it. We must not continue to stay on the sidelines when there are so many wrongs to be made right. God did not intend for us to live on this earth and just reap the benefits, but he intended us to create benefits and to insure that those that come behind us have what we ourselves didn't. We are encouraged, no it is expected of us that we leave this earth better than the way we found it. We must continue the fight for our freedoms still today. We are in danger of losing the precious freedoms we have known for so long. But it is impossible to make a difference without stepping into the ring. Let's decide today to fight for what we believe in. Stand for justice, stand for freedom, stand for morals and take back our country! Be Blessed!
Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, I say to you today, my friends.
And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today!
I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
I have a dream today!
I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; "and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together."2
This is our hope, and this is the faith that I go back to the South with.
With this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.
And this will be the day -- this will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with new meaning:
My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride,
From every mountainside, let freedom ring!
And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true.
And so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.
Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.
Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania.
Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado.
Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California.
But not only that:
Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.
Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.
Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi.
From every mountainside, let freedom ring.
And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:
Free at last! Free at last!
Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!3

Today Is The Day!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! "Existence was given us for action. Our worth is determined by the good deed we do, rather than by the fine emotions we feel," George MacDonald
Today is the day for action. Today is the day that we become the person we have always wanted to be. Today is the day we love more than ever. Today is the day we forgive. And today is the day we recognize that today is really all we have! Now go live Life! Be Blessed!

The Unbearable Waiting...
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Genesis chapter 41 begins the story of Joseph's brothers returning to Egypt during the famine. This story is a heart wrenching story of the young boy Joseph, who was taken from his family sold into slavery, promoted and demoted several times throughout his years in Egypt. If we can imagine the heart break he went through, not only missing his family but being in prison, and made to wait until the day God promoted him to Governor of Egypt. This took years and all the while he waited! But when the promotion came it was for a very specific reason. It was so that Joseph's family would not starve to death. It was so that Joseph would be in position to save them. When you read the part where he is reunited with his brothers you can almost feel his pain as he weeps for the lost years. Imagine what it has been like to wait for years for God's promotion. Some of us have waited, but have not been made to wait in a prison cell somewhere. Most of us have not been torn from our families and made to wait for years to see them. But there is a specific purpose that God wants to do in our lives. There is a time line and a plan that has to be carried out. We must trust with all our heart like Joseph that God does have the plan and will see it through regardless of how long the wait. God is faithful and whatever He says He will do, He does! I encourage you to read Genesis chapter 41 and be uplifted that regardless of where we are in our lives, there is coming a day when we will be promoted and then we can look back and realize that all the pain and heartache... will be worth it! Be blessed!

Love And Forgiveness!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Charity is love....but forgiveness is charity. When we forgive others and ourselves we extend charity...love. So really both of these emotions go hand in hand. We can't really experience love if we harbor unforgiveness within us. Love cannot survive where there is unforgiveness. In the Bible, love is the most important component. God is love. I Corinthians chapter 13 is the most extensive passage of love. We are to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. That means we must forgive. Forgiveness opens a path for love. Let's put the past behind us today. Let's forgive those who have hurt us. Let's forgive ourselves. And let's move into the realm of love. Our lives are much better when love is in it! Be Blessed!

God Wants To Heal Our Lands!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! In 2 Chronicles 7:14 the Lord said, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." We are in desperate need of healing for our land. That includes putting God back into our society, changing the way our government operates and getting things back on track spiritually. But we have to be the leaders. We have to began to rise up and take charge of our prayer lives, and fasting and supplication so that God can intervene on our behalf. Now is the time to seek his face. We cannot afford to wait until decisions are made, we must pray and fast now! When we do things as a corporate body we strike fear in Satan. He knows that when we bind together there is nothing that can't be accomplished! Let's decide today to work together to make a change. Be Blessed.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2Chronicles 7:14

When We Are Thankful!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! There are different reasons why we show our Thankfulness to God. We thank Him for an answer to a prayer. This thankfulness recognizes that He is the God from which all blessings flow. However, when we thank Him through the rough times we recognize Him as the Sovereign God! We show Him that we have trust in Him and not only can He bless us but He can take us through adversity. Our Thankfulness to God is what He inhabits. Our praises are what opens up spaces for His spirit to fill us. To Fill us with joy, love and peace. Praise God today! Give Him the thankfulness that He craves. Bless His name and prepare for blessings!

Let The Redeemed Say So!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Just as we would redeem a gift card or a gift certificate for the amount bought and paid for, so we must redeem our salvation that was bought and paid for by our Lord and Savior. He went to the cross for our sins that we might be saved and live an abundant life of peace. We need only to redeem that salvation. We need only to accept the gift that was given to us. His redemption is our deliverer. He can deliver us from our enemies. He can deliver us from poverty. He can deliver us from sickness. We must speak the words of redemption. "I am redeemed!" In Psalm 107:2 He says "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so! " We must proclaim our redemption! Be Blessed!

Recognizing That Success Comes Through A Path Of Some Failures....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Most of the time we equate victory with success. But without the failures we would not recognize success. It takes the failures for us to recognize our need and our reliance on God. Without that we would go through life on our own path asking God to bless what we have just decided to do. True success comes when we go to God with an open mind and open heart. When we show complete dependence on Him, then and only then can we find true success. The dream He places within us cannot be carried out on our own. Therefore it takes a path of some failures for us to put our faith and trust in Him. A complete faithwalk becomes our new path. The failures then become the stepping stones for our success. Thank God for our failures! Thank God that He lets us fall so that we can once again turn to Him and seek for the right path....His path. Be Blessed!

When Adverse Circumstances Become Growth Opportunities!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! There are going to be adverse circumstances in our lives! That's a given. However, we can approach all circumstances better by quoting these words...."Lord I trust you!" When we do we release fear and gain a confidence that allows us to grow through our adversity. We graciously accept our circumstances with a knowing that it can only last a little while when God is in the midst. The outcome becomes a step up in the right direction rather than staying stuck in adversity! We can seize our growth opportunity today! Be Blessed!

Lo, I Am With You Always!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! As we go about our day carrying out whatever plans we have, we must recognize that God is with us and in us. He is our constant and devoted companion. He sees everything we go through and He always offers His help. He is our burden bearer. Whatever becomes too heavy, we can just give it to Him. He lightens our load and makes our steps lighter. He gives us rest. He provides all that we need if we just believe. He has conquered the world and the things of the world. So we have no need to worry. God is There! I love the scripture in Matthew 28:20....the ending part just speaks to me. Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world! That gives me strength today. I hope it does the same for you! Be Blessed!
Matthew 28:20............lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
