Good Morning Christian Peeps! Remember how excited we got before our birthday or Christmas? We would ask our parents what did you get me and there response would be "wait and see"! Well, maybe some of us are asking our Father today "Lord what are your plans for me?" And His response will be "wait and see". That usually means that what is coming is amazing! So today when the enemy tries to rob you of your joy and make you wonder what the next step is or when God is going to bring you out of a situation....just remember....we have to wait and see because what God has for us is amazing! It is right around the corner. So hold on today! Just wait in anticipation for what wondrous things God has in store for us! Be Blessed!

It's All About More....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Excellence is: caring more than others think is wise; Risking more than others think is safe; Dreaming more than others think is practical. Expecting more than others think is possible. Winston Churchill. The more we love, the more love we get back. The more we care, the more others care for us. The more we give, the more we get back. More is the word today. Do more, not less. In the end it will pay off. Be Blessed!

What Is Our Why?
Good Morning Christian Peeps! “He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.”― Friedrich Nietzsche There is a why for everything we do. We may not always be able to completely articulate it but it is there. What is our why for our job, our hobbies, our relationships? What is the reason we get up everyday and do what we do? It's that why...initially that hope that keeps us going. That keeps us driving ourselves. It's important that before we decide to take on anything, we determine and ask ourselves these questions? "Why am I doing this?" Does it benefit for good? Does it fulfil me? Does it contribute to the common good of man kind? Does this make me happy? Do I have a motive? What can I gain from this? How will this affect others around me? When the why is strong enough to promote our will to live....then we can bear whatever life lesson, whatever hardship, whatever sacrifice we may have to make for the how. When we figure out the why, we can endure the how......Be Blessed!

Prayer For Those Grieving....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I found this prayer in the prayer library and thought it was appropriate for all of us who know people who are grieving right now.
Father, I pray for all of those that have lost a loved one and are grieving...
They're hurting for many reasons, and I ask You to help them through this season of loss. I reach out to You, the Father of compassion and the Source of every comfort, asking You to touch them with Your unfailing love and kindness. Be their God who comforts them as they're going through their struggles, and bring them through the tough things ahead. Come alongside them in their pain, and strengthen them so they'll one day be able to help others who face the same struggles.
2 Corinthians 1:3–4;
King James Version (KJV)
3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
Father, I pray for all of those that have lost a loved one and are grieving...

Peace Be Still....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Oliver Wendell Holmes said it best: "Greatness is not in where we stand, but in what direction we are moving. We must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it - but sail we must, and not drift, nor lie at anchor." When a boat sets out to sea, the crew have no way of knowing what lies ahead. They can only hope for safe and calm travels. What they can do is prepare their ship to withstand any and all storms. They will need to stock up on water, food and other supplies to last through whatever may come their way. Our lives are the same. We do not know what storms tomorrow will bring, but we can prepare to face whatever they are. Our greatest asset is Jesus! His love protects us and covers us. I'm reminded of the story when a storm blew up on the disciples and the Lord stepped out and just said "Peace be still". Can we let him do that for us today? In the midst of our storm, can't we just let Jesus say "Peace be still"? Be Blessed!

Love Endures All!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Love endures all. This love thing has got me twisted up. I am reading one of the best books from Max Lucado called "A Love Worth Giving". I highly recommend this book. God's love endures it all. All the times we failed him, all the times we were not truthful, all the times we didn't talk to him, all the times we mistreated him, all the times we called his name in vain. He endured it all because he loved us! Can we say that today? Can we truthfully say that we love our spouses, our children, our friends, coworkers, family with a love that endures all? How amazing is that love? I am finding out just what God meant when he said.....seek and ye shall find. I am seeking... I want that kind of love for everyone around me. I believe that when we can truly love people the way that God loves us....we can change our world. Jesus gave us the most important commandment.... Love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, then love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love! Be Blessed!
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself Luke 10:27
And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. I Corinthians 13:13

True Love....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Love is so much more than a word. It goes beyond the basics. It stretches farther than we can imagine. Love transcends the darkest night. Love brings hope to places of despair. Love gets up in the middle of the night to help someone. Love gives it's last dollar just to see someone smile. Love puts itself last in any situation and prefers others over him/herself. So many times we try to put our own definition on love and our own spin on it. We try to imagine what love feels like or how it should make us feel. The world has given us so many skewed ideas of love that we are lost and confused. Maybe we are looking at the wrong source for true love. The Bible gives us so many clues in the love chapter (I Corinthians 13). We try to make it so complicated and complex but it is very simple. When we love with the love of Christ, which is the only love....we would ultimately die for that person, we would protect them, we would encourage them, we would delight in their truth not in their wrong doing. We would support them and lift them up. We would not keep a record of their wrongs, we would not use leverage against them to keep the upper hand. If true love is what we seek we have only to measure it with God's love to know if it is the real deal. Be Blessed!

Trusting Allows For Peace!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Ever wondered what it would be like to have peace and not worry about things we don't have control over? Well now you can! I sound like an advertisement but it's true. We have heard that practice makes perfect, well it can improve a lot that's for sure. I decided to start practicing letting go and letting God handle situations. But I found out that you certainly have to start small. It's about trusting. There is an exercise that they do in company's where you have to fall backward and let your coworker catch you. You have to trust that he/she will do just that. It's hard to do if you don't really know that person, but it's the same with God. Starting with the little things, just envision yourself standing there with this issue and just hand it over to God. Imagine you are falling backwards into the arms of God and truly let it go. Then you will have peace. God really does take care of things better than we ever could and he already knows the outcome. So maybe the prayer is: Dear God, I give all my problems that are out of my control to you today and I just ask for the strength to walk out your plan. God is so faithful to take care of it all. Trust in Him! Be blessed!

We Can And We Will!!!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! (today and most days I am saying this like Robin Williams said "Good Morning Vietnam") remember that movie? Today is a good day, today is the day that the LORD has made! I will rejoice and be glad in it. Notice I said I will....not maybe, not probably should, not sort of.... I WILL! When we make up our minds to do something don't we do it with everything we have? Yes we do! The enemy knows this and tries very hard to keep our minds busy with worry, sickness, disease, frustration, exhaustion and anything else he can. But we must determine and set our minds each day that we WILL be joyful, that we WILL overcome, that we WILL triumph today and everyday! It's like those movies where even though the ants are small and the grasshoppers seem bigger and stronger....when the ants make up their minds that they will not take the abuse anymore.....WOW....they bind together and make their move and there isn't a grasshopper around who can defeat that! Well same goes....when we bind together in Jesus Name....there isn't a devil in hell who can come against that! So today is the day of our triumph, today is the day for celebration because God is on the throne! Hallelujah! Be Blessed!

Surrender The Imitation For The Genuine!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! (A great little short story) A young girl was given some imitation pearls and she loved them. Everywhere she went the pearls went. She was very protective of her pearls. One day her Father returned from a long business trip. As he was tucking her in for the night he asked her, "Do you love me" and of course she said yes. Then he said, "more than the pearls?" Yes, she said. Then he asked if she would give him the pearls, she said no Daddy, I love them very much. He said ok. The little girl thought about that for a long time and the next morning she went to her Father and said, Daddy I do love you more than the pearls... you can have them and she presented the pearls to her Father. Her Father smiled and said great! He reached into his briefcase and took out a box for her. When she opened it she found a genuine set of pearls. Our Father is the same. He would love to give us our hearts desire! Give us the best of everything, but sadly we tend to hold onto the imitation afraid that if we let it go, we would lose it all. But when we can let go of the imitation that the enemy provides, surrender it over to God, then and only then can he give us the best of the best....the genuine. Surrender today the imitation and let God give the genuine. Be Blessed!

Love Is Patient, Love Is Kind....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I Corinthians 13 gives us an definition of what love is. The very first words of that scripture is "Love is patient, Love is kind." Sometimes it is just hard to be patient with others. Sometimes it's hard to be kind to others, but if we stop to think how many times God is patient with us or kind to us.....it might help us to realize just how important being patient and kind to others really is. We cannot expect grace if we cannot give grace. There is a wonderful parable in the Bible that talks about how a man owed the King a lot of money. He begged the King to forgive him and the King was moved and extended grace to the man. Then the man who had just been forgiven went out did not extend grace and forgiveness to someone who owed him. When the King found out the man went to prison until he could pay back his debt. Let us extend grace today. Let us be patient and kind to those we love. Let us love like God loves. When we practice patience and kindness to others we gain peace. Be Blessed!
-- Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Giving Love Away....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! We have all heard the saying, "It's not love until you give it away". But maybe we should think about it this way.... You can't give love away if you haven't accepted it for yourself. There are so many times when we purpose in our hearts to love someone....we say "I am going to love them if it kills me!". Well, if we are trying to give something we don't have it might kill us. God is love, and until we can accept that he loves us right where we are we will find ourselves holding onto shame, guilt and condemnation. We will believe that we are unlovable, and unworthy. If we have that belief about ourselves then we can't possibly believe that someone else is worthy of our love because we don't have it to give. Romans 5:8 says "But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He didn't wait until we were perfect or worthy, while we were yet sinners, he died for us. Will we not accept God's love that he is extending to us? He doesn't ask us to be worthy of his love, he gives it freely and without condition. Be Blessed!
