Trim The Fat!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The Bible, in Hebrews 12:1, talks about laying aside all the weight and sin that so easily beset us....I looked up the word beset and it means basically "stuff that harasses us" won't leave us alone. But along with putting those sins aside, is running our race that is set before us with patience. So many times we want what we want and we want it now!! Like a baby that is hungry and needs food...we want things now! But the timing of our situation depends upon a number of things... maybe we can't get what we want because we haven't done away with what we don't need. Sometimes we have to "trim the fat" in other words to reap a harvest. Hold on today! Be patient! Get rid of things we don't need in order to make room for the things God wants to give us! Hebrews 12:1 - Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
