Good Morning Christian Peeps! I have to share something today. I am assured that if we want to get a firm grip on our circumstances, we only have to spend time with others who have experienced great loss or are less fortunate, then our troubles seem so small. Last night I was privileged to be asked to perform for an infant loss remembrance ceremony. One by one the women shared their stories. One might think, oh the baby didn't live, that's tough but they can have other children....it's amazing how we judge situations without really knowing the whole story. I listened to immense heartache as one lady told of holding her baby day after day as it fought to survive. How she cradled her when she finally couldn't hold on anymore. Today I assure my troubles are nothing compared to this lady and many others. Today I am so grateful for the many blessings that I have. I found this blurb below and wanted to share. Sometimes we just need to get our minds off our own troubles and help others who are worse off. That is where the blessings come from! Be blessed!
There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.
Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.
If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy.
Today is a gift, that's why it is called the present."--
