36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40
Love is meant to bring together but we have slowly divided it according to what the world says to do. I don't remember in the Bible where we were instructed to love each other differently. Love as God defined it was to love someone as you love yourself and as you love God. There is only one love. The world is divided because we continually try to put love in different categories. We divide people up according to their religion, their beliefs or their heritage. But according to God's word that is not so. Love is the nourishment that will always bring people together, it will always heal, it will always bring life. Love is a universal language. We all want it but we don't always give it. I know I talk a lot about love but I am convinced that love is the core of all we desire, of all that we can accomplish, the saving grace of our world. Be Blessed!
