Good Morning Christian Peeps! I was reading something last night that struck me. The Bible says for us to lay up our treasures in Heaven not on this earth. "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Where are our treasures today? What do we spend more time doing? Shopping or going to church? Reading the Bible or watching TV. Whatever we give most of our time to is where we are laying up treasures. Now with our busy lives we have a hard time just finding the time to read or watch TV, but when we have the moment what choice do we make. All these treasures we are collecting here on Earth will still be here when we pass. But the treasures we collect for Heaven's sake will go with us when we die. May your treasure collecting be Heaven bound!
Blessings!

Seek Me And You Shall Find Me!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I was impressed this morning about seeking. The words were "Seek me and ye shall find me." Webster's defines seek as : to search for, to inquire of. When we lose something, especially our cell phone, we diligently seek for it. We will turn the house upside down to look for it. And if it's real important like car keys, we will hunt everywhere to try and find them. How much more is it important to seek for God these days. Do you ever have those days when you just can't seem to feel him or your prayers don't seem to be going anywhere and you feel alone? I have. That's when he is saying to us....Seek Me! He wants to know how important he is to us. He wants us to hunt for him like we would car keys or a cell phone. He promises that when we do, we will find him... he's there all the time...but we must seek him. Dear Jesus, help us to seek for you today with our whole hearts! Blessings!
Jer 29:13
And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Prayer Deposits!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so great! In order to have money in our bank account to use for the things we need, we must first make a deposit. The more we deposit into our account the more we have to pay out or use. It's the same way with our walk with God. The more prayer deposits we make, the more our faith is built up to draw off of when we need to. Except there are added benefits when we are talking about prayer as apposed to money. When we store up our prayers a lot of things happen. We receive blessings, strength, faith, etc. We get more bang for our buck. Our deposit into the prayer bank does a lot more for us spiritually than our money can physically. Prayer goes a lot further than our money. Make a prayer deposit today and watch the benefits appear all day long.
Be Blessed!

No Respect Of Persons With God!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! In the Bible, it states clearly that there are no respect for persons with God. In other words, just because Susy is prettier or Joe is tougher doesn't mean that God looks on them more favorably than he does everyone else. We could never do enough to earn God's love, blessings or to compensate for what he went through on the cross for us. He gives that to us freely. He only ask that we praise him, and keep his commandments. If we are not experiencing the kind of life that we want, it is because we are standing in our own way. It's because for some reason we don't think we are good enough or deserving enough. I encourage all of us today to realize that we don't have to win God over in order to receive his blessings. He is our Father and already wants the best for us. All we have to do is open our hearts, forget how good or bad we think we are.. how underserving we think we are and receive what God so graciously wants to give us.
Be Blessed!
Rom 2:11For there is no respect of persons with God.

Digging Empty Wells!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a beautiful day! I was struck by something I read last night. "Digging empty wells"Sometimes we put our time and energy toward things that are useless. We spend so much effort on doing things that do not contribute to our well being or our walk with God. Therefore we are just digging empty wells. Think of the amount of time that is spent on digging a well, looking for water. Of course today with the machinery we have it takes less time, but even so that is time wasted if when we get to the bottom, there isn't a drop of water. What are we expending our time for today? Are we tired and exhausted and still do not have a drop of water? God wants us to dig in his wells that are always full of water. Dig into his word from whence cometh our help. Dig into pray which will shower us with His living water. We won't be tired and we want be thirsty! Where are we digging today?
Be Blessed!

Your Light Will Get Brighter!
Good Afternoon Christian Peeps! Sometimes we may feel that things are not changing in our walk with God. We hit plataus and wonder why. Sometimes our changes are very significant, while others are very gradual. But the changes are still taking place. They are getting brighter and brighter each day, although we may not see the change. I grant you other people around us notice more than we do.... So even though it feels like nothing is going on, just keep walking because the gradual changes will add up into something significant real soon! Be Blessed today and keep that light shining!
But the path of the just [is] as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

He Is Faithful!
Good Afternoon Christian Peeps! What a great day! Let us hold fast today to the confession of our hope, without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Whatever we hope of today we can have it! We just have to believe! Jesus promised it to us and he is faithful! He keeps his promises! Be Blessed!
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23)

He Shall Give His Angels, Charge Over Us!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! In Matthew 4:6 ......"He shall give His angels charge over you, and In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone." This was the devil quoting scripture to Jesus when he was tempting him in the wilderness. Satan said to Jesus, "throw yourself down" for it is written: ..... More times than we care to think about, Satan tries to tempt us to throw ourselves to him. Sometimes we get so tired that we may even entertain the thought. But God cares so much for us that he will send His angels to care for us....to bear us up out of harm's way. If you are feeling tempted and tried today....remember, the Angels are there for you...just call on Jesus and he will send the rescue party.
May God bless you with Angels all around!

We Are Not Forsaken!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Below is a scripture that I read in Corinthians yesterday. It acknowledges that we do have hardship, confusion and persecution but through the excellence of the power of God we also are not left in despair. We may be hard pressed on every side....yet we are not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed! We are stronger than we realize! Through Christ we can do all things. Be encouraged that although we may feel as if we are on your last leg, we can go further. God is speaking to us today and saying push on, I am with you! I will never leave you nor forsake you. God Bless!
2Cr 4:7
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
2Cr 4:8
We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
2Cr 4:9
persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed--

To Find Peace!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! For all of us interested in finding peace! The scripture below tells us how to find it. If we keep his commandments, he promises length of days, long life and peace. May all our days be filled with his peace.
Blessings!

My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
Pro 3:2
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Thankful, Giving, Receiving!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! In our Bible study Tuesday night we talked about being Thankful, and how having a spirit of thankfulness affects our everyday life. I believe being thankful creates a circle that is the focus for how our lives can evolve. If we begin to think thankful, write down things we are thankful for, we slowly began to adopt a thankful attitude. When we adopt a thankful attitude, we began to want to share what we have with others, we began to want to help others, give to others..... This opens us up to receiving, which creates more Thankfulness, more Giving and then more Receiving! So when we are thankful, we began to create a world of positive thinking, positive feeling, positive everything. When we are thankful, we can't be negative. For me, it started with being thankful for the little things... hot running water, good coffee in the morning, cold water to drink, warm clothes....I was one of those people who began to keep a gratitude journal and be more aware of what I really truly had. Slowly I watched my attitude change...no longer did I feel that others owed me, but I began to feel so blessed that I wanted to help others and thus the circle began. I believe in my heart that if we can all affect others around us by being more thankful. When we began to practice thankfulness our lives can change and be so much richer! I pray that we all become more thankful and began to spread it around....imagine if it caught on.....what a wonderful world this could be! Be Blessed In Jesus Today!

"He Restoreth My Soul In The Valley"!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I talked about the valley places before, but I think it's worth mentioning again. The valley, by geographical standards are generally the low places usually between two peeks or what we like to think of as mountains... although they may not be big enough to qualify for a mountain. The valley in our walk with God, is the place we find ourselves quite often before we began the long trek up another mountain. It is here that we need to "restore our soul" and get ready for the long journey ahead. In the valley, the grass is usually lush, flowers bloom, there may even be a stream flowing through that we can drink from. We may find ourselves in the valley either because our spirits are low or we are just transitioning from one peak to another. Whatever our reason for walking through the valley, Psalms 23 says "He restoreth My Soul". Even in the valley of the shadow of death..... Take time in the valley to restore your soul. You will need it on the long trek up the mountain. "Praise him in the valley, celebrate him on the mountain"! Lord, be with us through the valley, restore our soul and bring us to the mountain that we may celebrate you and share our testimony with others. Amen.

Restore The Balance In Your Life!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Thank You Lord For The Sunshine! You know sometimes we need to balance our tires on our vehicles to keep the car in balance. I have been praying a lot lately for balance in my life. When our car is out of balance, it doesn't drive right. And if it's really out of balance it can drive us crazy with the way it veers to the right or left of the road. Well, sometimes when we are out of balance with God, we tend to veer to the right or left in our lives. This only serves to throw us off track and we become more and more frustrated, tired, and overwhelmed because of this unbalance. If you are like me today and feel a bit or maybe even a lot out of sorts...maybe it's time to go to Jesus for a balance update. Time to get back on track. Maybe that means letting some things go that aren't as important as something else. If we look closely enough there are probably a lot of things that we can just let go of . Sometimes just getting our priorities straight can go a long way in the balance process. Dear Jesus, Help us to check ourselves for balance, give us the ability to put the right priorities in place and let us be able to let go of those things that may be contributing to the unbalance. Amen
This message is for someone today who might be feeling down and unloved. Maybe you have given and given until you have nothing left to give....God wants you to know that he loves you and if you will come to him, he will give you rest in your soul!
Be Blessed!

When Will You Believe!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a great God we have! I was reading in Luke chapter 24 yesterday when a thought began to take shape. Before Jesus was crucified, he told all of his disciples that after the crucifiction, in three days he would rise again. However, in Luke chapter 24 when it actually took place no one believed. The women were the first to arive at the tomb and there two angels met them and told them that Jesus had rose from the dead, but they did not believe.
Luk 24:10
It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary [the mother] of James, and other [women that were] with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
Luk 24:11
And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.
Peter went to see for himself and after seeing the linen lying there, he went away confused!
Luk 24:12 Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.
Then a third time and this time Jesus decided to go himself.....he appeared to two men walking on the road and carried on a long conversation with them and they did not even recognize him until he broke bread with them later in the night....
Luk 24:29
But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
Luk 24:30
And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed [it], and brake, and gave to them.
Luk 24:31
And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
Here is the thought that came to me: "How many times must he show himself to us before we believe?"
Every morning and every evening he shows himself even in the simple things such as a sunrise and sunset. In the beautiful trees and the grass. He shows himself in the blessings that he bestows on us. When will we believe! Truly Believe!
May our eyes be opened and may we fully believe!

Mountains Out Of Molehills!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! God Is Good! Late in the night or early this morning I received this message. "Quit making mountains out of Molehills". I'm sure we have all heard this saying before. I knew this was a christian peeps message because that's how God gives them to me...but wasn't sure how it related and so I became quiet and this is what I was given. Our problems and issues sometimes start out as molehills, meaning they are small. But by the time we feed them worry, fear and negative energy...they become as mountains. The Lord wants us to turn those molehills over to him while they are still molehills, not wait until we have frantically built them into mountains. Because when we make them into mountains and then finally give them to God, then the process for us to get our relief and answers take much longer due to our reluctance to let them go. God is the God of the mountain, but why not give him the molehill? This is once again a lesson in learning to trust God. We must trust and turn those problems and issues over to him when they first arise....he will take care of them...he just wants us to trust him.....
"Out of fear is born anxiety, but out of trust, peace is born!"

God Is The Author Of Our Story!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so wonderful! "The story is already written, but it hasn't come to the end." For those of us who love to read fiction books and have at one time in our lives watched a "Soap Opera"....we understand that there are characters, plots, climaxes of good or bad, and finally the great ending! Our lives are also like the books or the tv shows except they are not fiction. God wrote our story a long time ago. There will be characters come and go in our story, plots will change for good and bad, and the climaxes will relate to crisis or celebration from time to time. Just as we anticipate changing the next page or waiting until tomorrow for the next episode, so is our life. That's why we must wait in anticipation for our next page in our story! God is the writer and if we trust our writer, we know that in the end it will all come out just right! I personally love Nora Roberts books....she keeps you spell bound with the different unique characters and plots but you can count on her endings to come out just right. Everything ends well! We must trust today and everyday that with God as our writer, everything will indeed work out just right. When we trust enough to continue to turn the pages of our lives even when we don't understand the storyline or agree with it, God, our writer will make everything alright. We have to experience some ups and downs, the story would not be interesting if that didn't happen. But know that the best is yet to come!! Each of us must walk out the story of our lives. We do not have control, the writer does. I don't know about you but I am awfully glad God is my writer! Walk out your story today and be Blessed!!

Be Thankful For The Thorn!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Have you ever had a thorn in your life? An illness or your job or someone you know....that was just always there pushing your buttons or making you feel bad? Well, Paul had a thorn in his side and he begged God to remove it. Three times he begged God to take it away but God only answered, "My gracious favor is all you need. My power works best in your weakness." When we are weak we turn to God and pray, when everything is going great, we just scurry along without giving him a thought. Through our weakness God can speak to us... out of that weakness, new annointings and a greater harvest can be achieved. Think on this, if he gave us everything we need, we would not need him. It is when we need God that we seek him and listen to him... sometimes our lives are so busy that we do not make time to spend with him, so how do we expect to hear from him. We often ask questions like, "God why don't you move for me?" When if you would take the time to be quiet and listen to him you might hear him say "because you are not ready for what I want to do through you". May we embrace our thorns today, sow them to God and find time to be quiet and listen to what he is really wanting to do in our lives! Be blessed in all you do!
2Cr 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Get Closer To Hear His Voice!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Imagine being lost in the woods and listening for the sound of your Father's voice in order to find your way back. The closer you get to your Father the easier it is to hear him. The closer you get to your Father, the easier it is to see him. The closer we get in our walk with our Heavenly Father the easier it is to hear His voice. And the closer we get in our walk with Him the easier it is to see what He sees in us! It's like anything else we do in this life. The more we sleep, the more we want to sleep. The more we read His word, the more we want to read it. The closer we get to Him, the more we want to be like Him. May we strive to get close to Him today! When we do, we see more and we hear more!
Be Blessed!

Don't Forget To Put On Your Armor!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Yesterday morning I was praying and as I usually do I ask the Lord to guard me against temptations or any evil that the Devil might throw at me during the week. This time though his voice spoke to me(not audably) just inside my head and He said "have you put on your armor?" Well, as it happens when the light goes on... I remembered the scripture in the Bible that talks about putting on the armor of God. So, I went and looked up just what that armor is and would like to share it with you this morning.
1. Belt: the belt is to "girt up your loins with truth"
2. Breast Plate: "having on the breastplate of righteousness
3. Shoes: "and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace"
4. Shield: "taking the shield of faith, that you may be able to quench the fiery darts of the wicked"
5. Helmet: Salvation
6. Sword Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
As with any battle, being prepared is key. We are in a daily battle waring with our flesh. When we prepare for the battle, it is easier to overcome. By putting on the armor of God, we can insure that no matter what is thrown at us we can withstand. I pray for blessings this morning on our armor! We will overcome!
Eph 6:10
¶
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
Eph 6:13
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph 6:15
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph 6:17
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Watch And Listen!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes we see many wonders from God, but we do not observe them....we are too steeped in our troubles that we are facing right now to look to the right or left and see the glory of God! There are blessings all around us if we will look and truly observe what God is doing. We open our ears, but we heareth not... we say we are listening for God to talk to us....but can we hear him? Are we truly listening or are we too busy going about our day to stop for a few minutes, shut everything else out and truly tune in to what he is trying to tell us. I believe that the little instinct we feel or hear sometimes is God trying to protect us... how many times have we started to do something and felt or heard a small voice inside that said you better watch out.... we need to tune into that voice more and train our eyes to see what God is doing all around us! May the Lord open our eyes and ears so that we may be tuned into him today and every day! Be Blessed!
Isa 42:20
Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.

Perfect Love Casteth Out All Fear!!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! The Bible says perfect love casteth out all fear! Sometimes we allow fear to keep us from doing things that would probably be fun and exciting! We talked about being a person of action in our Bible study last night and fear being the main component of why sometimes we refrain from doing things that we feel God is calling us to do. One of the things brought up last night was that when we act without thinking we surpass fear; we don't give it time to manifest in our minds and hinder us. I dare say all of the times that we act out of love...we don't even consider fear. Take for example when your child is in danger....you wouldn't even think about whether or not saving him would cause harm to yourself....you would just act our of love for that child not caring what happens to you. Nine times out of ten....you would rescue the child with no harm done to yourself. When we act out of love, God does the rest. I guess what I'm trying to say is.....when you feel God calling you to do something, part of trusting him is stepping out by faith and doing it....it doesn't matter whether your smart enough or pretty enough or talented enough...when God picks you he has already intended to give you everything you need to succeed! Praise the Lord, you are talking to me God! I want to challenge all of us today to step out by faith and do that which God has called of us.....don't even consider the fear, take it one step at a time, and proceed with love not caution! Remember, when you take one step, he will take two! Trust him today!!
Be Blessed!!--
1Jo 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

God's Grace Will Cover You!!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I am thankful for God's Grace this morning. "But for the Grace of God, there go I". I wrote a song pertaining to Grace. We could all be the drug addict on the street...we could be the prostitute standing on the street corner......we could be the homeless, the hungry, the destitute, the sinner, the alcoholic, the sex addict...the list goes on and on.....but God's grace is sufficient to cover us and give us change...We are all saved by Grace. We are not better than anyone else, we are just saved by Grace. I love the part of the verse below that says..."my grace is sufficient for thee"....sufficient means enough....God has enough Grace for us that when we make a mistake and fall.....we can be covered....we can return to God and be forgiven! Look at the next verse....."For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace."....and then the last verse.....Behold...that means "hey check this out!" now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die". We need to remain in God's grace this morning and everyday....don't run away to the mountain....stay close to God and let his Grace cover you.
May the Grace of God rest on all of us today!
2Cr 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Rom 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Gen 19:19
Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:
