Love Is The Way!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good! Love is patient, Love is Kind. In 1st Corinthians 13:4, it describes what love is in such a beautiful way. We know what love is but do we know what love does. Love, when applied to every situation in our lives, becomes a powerful action word. When applied to volatile situations, it brings peace. When applied to loneliness, it brings friends. When applied to a broken heart, the broken heart is made whole again. When applied to our children, they blossom. We can literally apply love to every situation in our lives and watch the most amazing things happen. The next time we are given a choice as to how to handle a something or someone....pause! Say a prayer, see the situation in love, apply that love and then make the decision. When love is applied a new story is written. What might have been is no more and what is....is simply Love! Smile Awhile!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Smiling from the inside out, illuminates our features, relaxes our heart muscles and rearanges our thoughts in a positive way. There are great benefits when we let ourselves relax long enough to enjoy each other and our day. When we let the smile light up our eyes, we let our friends and family know we mean it. May we all take a deep breath today, take a few minutes to quieten our mind and just smile... smile at ourselves in the mirror, smile at our babies and smile at anyone we meet. What's In our Wallet?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! It's funny how things that you have heard so many times only catch your full attention some of the time. Yesterday, I heard that commercial from Capital One...you know the one that tells you in order to be secure in spending you must carry the card that keeps you safe? Their catch phrase is: "What's In Your Wallet!" Well, I got to thinking about that in the spiritual realm. How can we guarantee that we are safe and secure? What's in our spiritual wallet? What are we holding that can protect us no matter what we are going through. When we have the Holy Spirit inside us, we have security, we have peace, we have blessed assurance, we have all that we need. It's all we need to carry! What's in our wallet today? Be Blessed!

Recieve Life With Gratitude!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I guess throughout my life, the quote I heard more than any other was- "Life is not fair". But...Life is NOT "Supposed to be Fair." Know that there is no single way that life is "supposed" to be. Demanding that life meet our expectations is a sure fire recipe for a miserable existence. Life is a game with no rules. Life just happens to us regardless of our best intentions. Our only path to happiness lies in being open to receiving whatever life throws at us - with Gratitude. Have NO Expectations of life. Good Morning Christian Peeps! Today is a day of praise. When we praise, wonderful things happen! Our spirits are lifted up... what seemed bad or disappointing at first now seems not so bad. Psalms 150:1-6 says this:

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Look Inside And Find Yourself!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When we look into our own hearts, what do we see. Sometimes it's hard to take a good look at what is on the inside. We are afraid of what we will find. But it's only when we can truly look at who we are that we can see the vision that is inside us. We must first know who we are before we can affect someone else. We must first love ourselves before we can love someone else. We must first take care of ourselves before we can help someone else. It takes a us being whole before we can reach outside ourselves and help others. Take a moment today, listen closely to what our heart is telling us. Search for ways to began a healing process of ourselves so that in the future we can help others become whole. Be Blessed!

Change Our Thoughts, Change Who We Are!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! According to an article in the New York Times we have approximately 3 thoughts per minute, about 3-5000 per day maybe more...depending on stress level. Our thoughts shape how we react to things, how we start our day, who we interact with, and on and on. Our thoughts control and shape our lives. That's why it is so important to pay attention to what we are thinking. Are we thinking negatively or positively? We can change our thought in the middle and think something else. We have ultimate control of our thoughts....when it comes in...if it is not appropriate, scrap it and try a better one. Once we change our thoughts we shape our attitudes and when our thoughts and attitudes are positive, then joy comes in and then we can share joy with those around us! It all leads to good things! God Is Our Destressor!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Stress is defined as: a physical, chemical, or emotional factor that causes bodily or mental tension and may be a factor in disease. Stress, to put it bluntly, is bad for you. It can kill you, in fact. A study now reveals that stress causes deterioration in everything from your gums to your heart and can make you more susceptible to everything from the common cold to cancer. from News-Medical.Net. We are too blessed to be stressed!! The one thing that can bring stress under control faster than anything else is giving what is stressing us to God. He knows all, sees all and can take care of all. He tells us to cast our cares on Him! Whatever we have need of today, He can provide. We can truly let the stress go and just give it to God. It is only hard to do when we can't turn loose and trust Him. What is stopping us today from completely believing that God can do what He says He will do! I challenge each of us to let go of something that is stressing us today, give it to God and watch Him take care of it! Be Blessed!

Ride Out The Storm!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Louisa May Alcott once said, "I am not afraid of storms, I am learning to sail my own ship." It's true that once we realize life is a series of storms and those storms teach us things that we need to know in order to advance on our journey; we can then approach them with a different strategy. Instead of being afraid, we can learn better how to navigate them. Instead of letting the storm rule us, we can rule the storm. We have often heard people say...."ride out the storm", well, in essence when we trust in God, we can ride out the storm. We recognize it as a storm, realize what needs to be done to get through the storm, set our course, stay the course and pray. Then when we have mastered the storm, there is sweet peace. ..Until the next storm...but with each storm....we become better and better at staying the course. Whatever storm we might be facing today....Stay the course, pray, and we will come out victorious! Be Blessed!

God's Love Sees Beyond Our Imperfections!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Zacheus was a man in the Bible who was not only short but by his own admission a corrupt tax collector. One day he heard that Jesus was coming to town. He wanted to see what all the excitement was about, but being a short man and with the crowds, he had to climb a tree in order to see Jesus. When Jesus came along, He noticed Zacheus and told him to come down for today he would have dinner with him. Now when Jesus saw Zacheus, he didn't see a short man or a corrupt tax collector but he saw what Zacheus could be. God's love sees not our imperfections but the possibilities! So when we exhibit God's love everyday we shouldn't see imperfections in people around us either but just like God....we should look beyond the imperfections and see the possibilities...that is God's love! Fly First Class With Jesus!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes we feel we are not worthy of the good things in life. Maybe we were told that as children, or maybe it was brought on by something we witnessed. Most of us are flying economy when God has first class just waiting for us. We should not settle for the mediocre things in life, we should always be reaching for the great things! Our Father is a King! In Psalms 37:4 it says "delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart! When we put Him first and go about doing His business first... we don't even have to worry about anything else...He takes care of it....and when He takes care of it......we fly first class, not economy! He Will Never Leave Us!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good! He says He will never leave us nor forsake us. So no matter where we are this morning...God is there! In the valley, on the mountain, in green pastures or rocky hills..God is there! In good times, in bad times, in good finances, in bad.... God is there. He is always leading and guiding us....we may slip away from time to time to try something else out...but when we realize He is what we need... He is still right where we left Him! Sometimes we let Him handle our problems, sometimes we don't...either way He is still there! Sometimes we trust Him enough, sometimes we don't...He is still There. Why don't we just walk with Him this morning... fall in line with Jesus and let Him take over....things are so much easier! Be Blessed!

I Will Bless The Lord At All Times!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Psalms 34: verse 1 says... "I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth." I love this scripture. This is what praise will do for us. When we are praising God, we can't be negative. When we are in the praise mode, we can't be down. When we are lifting God up, we can't be putting others down. Praise lifts our spirits. Whatever is going on is not half as bad when we began to praise. Praise is a joyful act! Whether it's singing, or just telling God how wonderful He is...we can't help but become joyful! The greatest thing is that praise produces results. Whatever you have need of when you began to praise....God comes on the scene. The Bible says "He inhabits the praises of His people" ..that means He loves it when we praise Him! Indulge in joyful praise and watch happens to our day! Be Blessed!

Grace Under Fire!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Earnest Hemingway coined the phrase "Grace under pressure". He related this to having guts, but it is considered today to mean maintaining your attitude while going through something intense. Sometimes we go through much more than just pressure, we feel as if we are going through fire! So a lot of times the phrase used is grace under fire. One example of grace under fire for me was Job in the Bible. No matter what Satan was allowed to do to him he maintained his cool and his position of faith in God. God gives us the grace to stand through trials. He covers us with his grace. The covering of grace to me would be like a cool wet blanket thrown over you in a fire. You can still feel the heat but you are untouched by it. When we are going through trials it feels good to know that God's grace covers us. When we have that covering we can just keep walking in the right direction, holding tight to God's hand. With God's grace we are assured a right outcome if we hold on. Hold on through the fire! Keep God's grace wrapped tightly around us! Be Blessed!

Be Passionate About Something!!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When is the last time we expressed passion for something? Passion is
the emotions as distinguished from reason b : intense, driving, or overmastering feeling or conviction. When we are passionate about something we move forward with everything we have, we do whatever it takes to make it happen! We find ways to tell people how we feel, we turn over every stone to get the word out! When we are passionate, we do not let anything get in our way. We bulldoze right through opposition, we shovel adversity aside, we propel ourselves over obstacles and we forge through hardships. What are we passionate about today.... when we are passionate we feel so alive! What is stopping us from our passionate purpose? It's time we become passionate again! It's time we quit worrying about what others think and get our passion back. How many of us would be more passionate about our lives if we knew we only had one more day to live? It's something to think about. Find your passion and LIVE! Be Blessed!

What More Could We Need!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I thought of my favorite scripture this morning and I wanted to share how I see it.

The Lord is My Shepard......He leads me and guides me

I Shall not want......He supplies all my needs

He Maketh me to lie down in green pastures..... He takes me to the good places and allows me to lay down and rest.

He leadeth me beside still waters....He lets me quench my thirst

He restoreth my soul.....He provides for the restoration of my spirit.

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake......He takes me down the right roads.

Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.....Their may be rough times, sad times, hard times

I will fear no evil.... I will not worry or be afraid.

For thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.... He is always with us, protecting us when there is danger and pulling
us back on the path when we stray.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.....He gives me the best, even when my enemies are making it tough.

Thou annoinest my head with oil.... He annoints us to do great things for Him.

My cup runneth over.... He gives us more than we can handle.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.... His goodness and mercy is always with us when we need it.

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.... and when all is said and done...I am going to a better place to live with Him!

Amen!!

Thy Word Is A Lamp Unto Our Feet!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path".Psalm 119:105. His word can lead us and guide us everyday of our lives. When we are faced with a situation, if we will only get quiet for a moment and ask Him to take over and show us what to do..He will! It really is that simple. Sometimes we get in such a hurry that we forget to consult God before we make decisions, but when we do everything works out so much better. When we are walking in harmony with God, His word comes to mind when we need it and just like the scripture says, it illuminates our path! Be Blessed!

Are We Leaving People Better For Having Known Us?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Yesterday at church Pastor said something that stuck with me. Are we leaving people better for having known us? In other words are we affecting the world around us? Are we contributing to someones well being or are we being detrimental to them. Everywhere that Jesus went in the Bible, He was the epitome of love. His compassion shown above all else. He had compassion for everyone He met and their lives were changed for having known Him. So therefore wouldn't the definition of being Christ-like be one of complete love and compassion? Are we showing that to everyone we meet? Will our legacy be that people were affected positively or negatively? Let's make it our mission to be Christ-like everyday. To reach out to someone everyday with love and change their world. It starts with just one and there is a chance for it to snowball! Wouldn't that be great, if love caught on everywhere? If instead of looking for the bad, we looked for the good? Love is the key....just pass it around! Be Blessed!

Let Him Close That Door, And Reveal A Better One!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We have often heard the phrase, "when one door closes, other one opens". Well sometimes God wants to close doors for us so that He can take us into better places, less stressful places, places where our true talents can be used. But because the place we are in feels familiar to us, we stay. Even though there isn't any enjoyment in it anymore. Even though we know that we are just there because it "pays the bills" or fulfills some other need. But today God is saying that if we will have the courage to let Him close that door, He promises that He will open another one. When we take that leap of faith, He is right there! He sees the future and knows what lies behind the new door. We can ask Him today to show us the right door, to lead us and guide us to a life of fulfillment, of enjoyment, of passion! Be Blessed!

Greater Is He That Is In Us!!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is an unstoppable force within us today. If we could only wrap our minds around that concept, imagine what we could accomplish! "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." IJohn 4:4 We were created by the powerful hands of the Master, and when he comes to live whithin us, then we have awesome power to accomplish anything! Why is it so easy to listen to the negative force that tells us things are impossible, when we know that we have The most powerful source living on the inside that is capable of it all! Greater is He that is in us, then he that is in the world! We can do all things through Christ which strengthens us!!! We have the power today! It is time that we quit listening to all the negativity in this world....it is time that we take a stand in our lives.....it is time that we began to live the power filled lives we were created for! Are we tired of living mediocre lives? Are we tired of feeling defeated all the time? Are we tired of letting negativity rule our lives? Then turn to Jesus today...let Him show us the way! Let Him lead us to a more powerful, more abundant life!! Be Blessed!

Father, I pray this morning that you will help us discard all the negativity that has been coming against us! That you will show us how to live an abundant life in you. That you will help us to see that we were created in perfection, and it is the enemy working through all his negative forces that has taken our power away. Father, lead us back to that beginning perfection. Let us lead the lives that you ordained us to in the beginning. I pray for strength for everyone who reads this that a wonderful powerful stir will began to happen in the pit of their stomachs. That a holy excitement will rise up. A great determination will be born that says I will be what God has created me to be. I will no longer listen to the negativity around me, but I will remember the source from which I came and embrace that spirtit instead! IN JESUS NAME!
