Good Morning Christian Peeps! The Bible says Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen! As we walk through life pain will will be there, sorrow, grief, unforeseen circumstances, disturbing situations and things we cannot understand but in the midst of all that... there is faith, working on our behalf. Romans 8:28 says "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. We don't need to know the how, where, or the when....we just have to believe. God is working today, your circumstance or situation has been given a work order. It's in line to be taken care of. Let go and let God! Be blessed.
ps I added this poem.....God is good!
-- A drunk man in an Oldsmobile
They said had run the light
That caused the six-car pileup
On 109 that night.
When broken bodies lay about
And blood was everywhere,
The sirens screamed out eulogies,
For death was in the air.
A mother, trapped inside her car,
Was heard above the noise;
Her plaintive plea near split the air:
Oh, God, please spare my boys!"
She fought to loose her pinned hands;
She struggled to get free,
But mangled metal held her fast
In grim captivity.
Her frightened eyes then focused
On where the back seat once had been,
But all she saw was broken glass and
Two children's seats crushed in.
Her twins were nowhere to be seen;
She did not hear them cry,
And then she prayed they'd been thrown free,
Oh, God, don't let them die!"
Then firemen came and cut her loose,
But when they searched the back,
They found therein no little boys,
But the seat belts were intact.
They thought the woman had gone mad
And was travelling alone,
But when they turned to question her,
They discovered she was gone.
Policemen saw her running wild
And screaming above the noise
In beseeching supplication,
Please help me find my boys!
They're four years old and wear blue shirts;
Their jeans are blue to match."
One cop spoke up, "They're in my car,
And they don't have a scratch.
They said their daddy put them there
And gave them each a cone,
Then told them both to wait for Mom
To come and take them home.
I've searched the area high and low,
But I can't find their dad.
He must have fled the scene,
I guess, and that is very bad."
The mother hugged the twins and said,
While wiping at a tear,
He could not flee the scene, you see,
For he's been dead a year."
The cop just looked confused and asked,
Now, how can that be true?"
The boys said, "Mommy, Daddy came
And left a kiss for you."
He told us not to worry
And that you would be all right,
And then he put us in this car with
The pretty, flashing light.
We wanted him to stay with us,
Because we miss him so,
But Mommy, he just hugged us tight
And said he had to go.
He said someday we'd understand
And told us not to fuss,
And he said to tell you, Mommy,
He's watching over us."
The mother knew without a doubt.
That what they spoke was true,
For she recalled their dad's last words,
I will watch over you."
The firemen's notes could not explain
The twisted, mangled car,
And how the three of them escaped
Without a single scar.
But on the cop's report was scribed,
In print so very fine,
An angel walked the beat tonight
on Hwy. 109

It's Only One Step
Good Morning Christian Peeps! “It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.”
Seneca.
We were once afraid to walk, but we walked. We were once afraid to climb, but we climbed. We were once afraid to ride a bike, but we rode. We were once afraid to love, but we loved. What is the fear today, and why like all of the times in the past have we not done it anyway. Fear can only makes us pause for when we decide to take the step it doesn't stand a chance. It can't stop us if we don't let it. Great things are awaiting us today. New adventures, new stories, new friends, new relationships if only we take a step. Be Blessed!

"Opportunity Miser"
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I received another AHA moment from God. For years I have experienced a feeling of being stuck, not sure where I belonged in my career and my purpose. Yesterday I was reading an article and it hit me like a ton of bricks. It's a "condition" called "Opportunity Miser". I believed that I was so optimistic about what I could do that I couldn't limit my opportunities. Instead of just picking one and seeing it through I was always afraid to commit in case a better opportunity came along. "or the real opportunity" as I like to look at it. I hoarded my opportunities like a money miser hoards his money. Reading this was so freeing for me! I don't know if anyone else out there can relate to this or not.... but in case you can I wanted to share. When we ask God to reveal what is holding us back from our true purpose, believe me He will! Be Blessed!

In God We Trust.....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning, for on You do I lean and in You do I trust. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my inner self to You. Psalm 143: 8 When we go before God in the morning, he can give us everything we need for our day. We can lean on him and trust him to show us which way to go throughout our day. He can guide us to do wonderful things if we let him. Lean into and trust today, God is right here! Be Blessed!

Think Bigger......
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I would rather try with all my might to touch the moon and fail, then to only know the feeling of grass beneath my feet. If we don't at least step beyond what we are doing, we may never know what we could have done. If we don't step out, we can't step in. These sentences are only cliches to those who still haven't moved. We have only advanced small spaces because we only take small steps. What if today we decided to take giant steps. To move beyond the small thinking into larger thinking. The possible was once impossible.....It's time to move! Be Blessed!

This Is The Day.....!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24 Since the Lord made this day, how can it be a bad day. It's all in how we view it. Let us rejoice! Rejoice means to express great happiness! Some say that when we express joy, our bodies follow. So imagine if we began to express joy today..... we could feel not only happier but healthier, more peaceful. Let's decide to bask in this wonderful day that the Lord has made. He made this day and he is in this day to bless us! Be Blessed!

Feel The Need To Run Away?
Good Morning Christian Peeps! The last couple of weeks, I have been saying, "I just want to run away"....then I read a devotion that talked about just that....so I am not alone in my thinking. Sometime in our lives we will feel the need to run away, to just get off by ourselves and think. It's not that we don't love our families and want to be with them, but we feel overwhelmed, tired, and spent. It's important that we recognize these moments as time to recharge, renew, and relax. We can't do and be who we need to be without taking care of ourselves first. We cannot give 100% when we are running on 10%. It's like hoping that your car that is only a quarter full will take you another 300 miles. We need that quiet time with God. God is the only one who brings true peace to us and refreshes us with his love. He is the one who can truly fill up our empty tanks. Can we find a few moments to get alone today and be quiet? Can we allow God to refresh us today? Be Blessed!

When We Are Lost....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Have you ever felt lost? Ever been driving or walking and suddenly realize that you are not sure where you are? Ever felt that way with your walk with God? We tell our children that if they get lost to stay put and someone will find them. It's hard to find someone if they are wondering all over. There isn't a set path to follow. It's the same way with God. When we feel lost and not sure what the next move is...sometimes maybe it's just that we need to stay still and let God find us. He always looks for the lost sheep, he says so in his word. My prayer is this: Dear Father, for all of us who may feel lost and unsure of the next step, path or road, come and find us and show us where to go. Be Blessed!

I Wish For All Of Us Today.....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I found this while surfing the net and wanted to share. I am not sure who the author is.... but this is my wish and prayer for us all. Be Blessed on this beautiful day that the Lord has made!
Today...I wish you a day of ordinary miracles
A fresh pot of coffee you didn't make yourself.
An unexpected phone call from an old friend.
Green stoplights on your way to work or shop.
I wish you a day of little things to rejoice in...
The fastest line at the grocery store.
A good sing along song on the radio.
Your keys right where you look.
A rainbow ahead of you.
I wish you a day of happiness and perfection,
little bite-size pieces of perfection
that give you the funny feeling
that the Lord is smiling on you,
holding you so gently because
you are someone special and rare.

Our Hope Is In You Lord!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Hope is that part of us that when allowed to shine, when allowed to speak, when allowed to breathe, gives life. Are we giving life? Do we speak hope? Do we let our hope shine? There is a world around us that needs hope. Let's spread ours far and wide. There are so many scriptures in the Bible that speak of hope. This is one that we can share....."blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence."
Our hope is in you Lord. When the world seems hopeless.....God is there! Be Blessed!
-- “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord
and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. Jeremiah 17:7

Be A Blessing!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! So many times we focus on what we need or want in this life. Everyday we get up and who is the first person we think about? Ourselves of course. But what if we began to train our minds to focus on others and on God? Who can we help today? What sacrifice or praise can we give to God today? What if just for today we forget about ourselves and focus on someone around us that might have a need? What if today we spend every spare moment just thanking God for our many blessings. Sometimes I stand at the sink and just say thank you God that I can turn on this faucet and there is running water. I am most thankful when I can put food in my mouth, any kind any variety. The enemy would like to keep us sidelined with injuries, depression, grief, bad health, poor finances along with many others but I guarantee you that if we choose to look beyond these things and praise God through it all.....wow what a difference it would make in our lives. We receive the blessings, when we focus on being a blessing! Be Blessed!

Who Are We?
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Maybe we haven't found what we are looking for in life, because we haven't found ourselves. If we don't really know who we are and who God intended us to be, then how can we know our likes, dislikes and certainly how can we have relationships, or passions..... Get to know the person God created. Be still and find out who we are. Listen to that voice of truth and tells us who we are. Let God remind us who we are. We were made in his image....does that tell us anything? It's time to find our identity and do what God created us to do. Be Blessed!

Locked Doors Are For Our Protection.....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! God closes doors for a reason. Sometimes it is to protect us, other times it is to bring about a new perspective. There are several examples of this in the Bible. God closed up a young Sara's womb so that he could do a miraculous work in old age. Paul and Silas went several directions seeking an open door but didn't find one until they went clear across the country. God kept locking doors until they reach the right one and because of their persistence, a pagan world came to know God. Paul and Silas also encountered a locked prison but because they decided to praise God through it, a jailer and his family were saved. We have to understand that God is not locking doors because he doesn't love us, he is locking them to either protect us or to bring about amazing work for the kingdom. It is through waiting upon the Lord and trusting in his plan that we see great things come about. Trust in the Lord today, lean not unto our own understanding but in all ways acknowledge Him! Be Blessed!

Why Do We Do What We Do?
Good Morning Christian Peeps! What is our why this morning? Why do we do what we do? I had a conversation with a friend this morning about how we work so hard and we are so stressed out and overwhelmed that we feel nothing of value is getting accomplished. So I said why? Why do we feel that way? Well the answer in short is that maybe we are too focused on the wrong things. How many of us spend so much time working for what? Material things? If we balanced our jobs better and our time ...if we worked less.... would we starve? Would we lose our homes? Or is it more likely that we couldn't afford the material things that we are so accustomed to? The Bible says if we gain the whole world and lose our soul what does it profit a man? I like to add to that and say if we work so hard that when it's time to retire we die....then what did we really do? Can we afford to sell our health for a little of wealth that is fleeting? Wealth that is here today but may be gone tomorrow? What is our why? It's time we put the important things first. It's time we find out what really matters in the big picture. I hope this stirs something in us today. Be Blessed!

What Vest Are We Putting On ......
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I have been reading another book by Max Lucado about God's Story! It's awesome as well. Something he said in the book stuck with me. He said, and I am paraphrasing.... when we get up in the morning, what vest are we putting on? Are we putting on vest that say: Unworthy, depressed, angry, disappointed etc. These are words that the enemy tries to hit us with right away or are we putting on what God's says about us! Loved, Worthy, Joyful, Blessed! Maybe it's time to pay attention to what we are putting on in the morning. Let's choose God's words and go out and be the person he tells us we are! He loved us enough to die for us so we can't be all that bad! Be Blessed!
