Everything In It's Time!!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "There will be no wine before it's time'... this is a campaign ad from a while back. But if you look at the message it can apply to our lives. Sometimes we want to be a part of something before it's time. "Everything in it's own time" is another one. We know we are to be doing something but may not be sure of what. But if we try to push things to happen sooner, we arrive too early. And if we procrastinate on what we are to do, we arrive too late. Sometimes we may be ready for what we feel we are called to do, but it may not be ready for us. So the challenge is to just be. To concentrate on what we can do today and let everything else just flow. Be in the moment, every moment today! Be Blessed!

Opt For The Redemption Plan!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Redeem means: to free from what distresses or harms: to free from captivity by payment of ransom : to extricate from or help to overcome something detrimental : to release from blame or debt. When we are redeemed from something, that means we are free from it. The ransom for captivity has been paid, we are released from blame or debt. Why then do we revisit those sins or situations that our God redeemed us from? He died on the cross for our sins that we might receive redemption and still we live in the guilt of those past sins. So, in essence God has extended the redemption to us but we have opted out of the redemption plan because we enjoy spending time with the guilt from those past sins. That doesn't sound right, does it? In order to have life and have it more abundantly we need to accept all the gifts that God is giving us. Redemption for our sins, healing for our body, comfort for our grief, relief from our finances, love, etc. The list goes on and on. The Bible plainly says, we have not because we ask not. And sometimes even when we ask, we don't really believe. Today is the day we can began to live life more abundantly! But we hold the key in our hands. Unlock it today, and let redemption wash us clean. Unlock it today and let God's healing power heal our bodies. Unlock it today and let the comfort, the love, all those things God has promised us; let them come today! Be Blessed!

He Can Fill Our Empty Places!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes in the midst of a crowd, we feel lonely. We look around and wonder why. We should be happy, and fulfilled but all the joy has left us. We can't put our finger on where it started, just that it's there and we feel broken hearted. We look to others to fill us up. But they don't know how or what to do. There is someone though who can fill that void. His name is Jesus and He knows me and you. He knows our weaknesses and our strengths. He sees everything, He knows the need. So if we turn to Him today, instead of to others, He will take our loneliness and be our friend. He will put the joy back and fill our empty places. He loves us, we are His creation! Be Blessed!

We Are To Fight Today! God Is With Us!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When our back is against the wall or the ropes, this is the defining moment! Do we come out swinging or do we just give up? Well, it's always a good thing to keep on going. When we give up, we are retreating, going backwards.....and eventually we have to start all over again. Why not say a prayer and come out swinging. The Lord is with us, He says so in His word. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Hebrews 13:5. When we face the enemy or that situation today, and we feel like we just can't keep fighting, remember that God is with us and that "greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world!!" I John 4:4. Let's come out swinging today! God is with us!! Be Blessed!

Reach For Excellence; Perfection Is God's Business!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I found this quote and think that it is most "excellent" ! When we do what we can do, then God can do what we can't do. So we need to accomplish what we are capable of achieving and let God handle the rest. I love this because so many times we think we are supposed to do it all. We feel we are falling shot if we can't do things ourselves. But God says in our weakness, He is made strong! So let's glorify God today by doing what we can and asking Him to do the rest! Be Blessed!!

I am careful not to confuse excellence with perfection. Excellence, I can reach for; perfection is God's business." Michael J. Fox

God Will Never Forsake Us!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Here are a group of scriptures that remind us that God is with us always. He is with the Haiten People who believe in Him. John 14:18 says, " I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you." Psalms 9:9-10 says, "The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For you Lord have not forsaken those who seek you." Praise The Lord! Their is Hope in Christ Jesus if only we believe. Let us pray for the Haiten people and our country that we will recognize and acknowledge God that He may save us! Be Blessed!

“He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.” (Isaiah 40:29 NKJV)

“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling.” (Psalms 46:1-3 NKJV)

“I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” (John 14:18 NKJV)

“The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.” (Psalms 9:9-10 NKJV)

Meet Our Emotions With Patience And God Will Give Us Grace!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When we meet our emotions with patience, God gives us grace to overcome. When we are angry and upset if we will take a moment and breathe and determine that although we may be angry this too shall pass, we can change how we react to that anger. When we are sad, depressed or lonely, we can, with just the changing of our minds, greet it in a new way. We can change any negative emotion into a positive if we so desire. Pain can seem less, when we take that pain or situation and turn it over to God. Because at that moment, we have just put our faith into action and let it work for us. God blesses us when we operate from a position of faith. I challenge us to try it today... no matter what comes our way, pause, and say God we don't know how to handle this, but we give it to you. Then just literally let it go and let God! We will be amazed at what God will do when we let Him! Be Blessed!

He Is The Light Of The World!!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Just as the sun chases away the darkness from the night, so does the Son of God chase away our darkness in our lives. Whenever situations seem too dark, just go to God and He will chase the darkness away. He will shine His light all around us! His light penetrates even the darkest of places! When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world; Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” —John 8:12, NIV Walk in God's light today! Be Blessed!

Looking Forward, Not Behind!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Looking forward to what lies ahead, forgetting what is past, and concentrating on obtaining the ultimate prize. We learn from yesterday's mistakes, improving on today, gaining hope for tomorrow. We can't get stuck in yesterday, we must keep moving on. The forward motion does not stop, it just continues on. May we accomplish what we set out to do today. Start with prayer it always puts us on the right track.

Be Blessed!

I Am Thankful And Grateful!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When sickness comes my way, I am Thankful and Grateful. When finances are in trouble, I am Thankful and Grateful. When death comes knocking, I am Thankful and Grateful. When trouble rears it's ugly head, I am Thankful and Grateful. The Bible says in all things give Thanks! That's because when we face our situations and we say I am Thankful and Grateful, we bypass what we see and embrace what we know. We discard what the adversary is trying to do and we accept what God is able to do! We take the action steps of putting our Faith in God to work! Today is the day that we face all situations with a Thankful and Grateful heart! Today is the day our situations are reduced to nothing and God prevails! Praise God! Be Blessed!

I Thessalonians 5:18 (In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.)

We Walk By Faith, Not By Sight!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good! We have only to look around us to know and feel the wonderful spirit of God in our midst. The Bible says in 2 Cr 5:7 that we walk by faith, not by sight. Sometimes we go through spaces that are so dark, times when our physical eyes can't see where we need to go or what needs to be done. Times when our hearts are broken and we don't really want to see anything. That's when we rely on our faith in God the most! That's when we close our physical eyes and let our spiritual eyes be our guide. Within ourselves we can't decipher what to do. The answer is not right there, but when we say, "God, I give you this problem, this darkness, this pain. I don't know where to go, or what to do but I know that you do. I am trusting you to show me which direction to go, to bring light into my darkness and to relieve my pain." When we do that, He is faithful to do all of that. When we surrender, then He can work. Then in our faith and our quietness, the answers come! I know because I have tried Him and He has never let me down! May we allow God to work out each and every problem or situation today! Be Blessed!

2Cr 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

The Forest For The Trees!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is a saying, "You can't see the forest for the trees." If we think about it sometimes we lose the bigger picture, the overall message or purpose because we are so focused on what is right in front of us. Sometimes focusing on what is right in front of us is so big and confusing that it keeps us from moving forward. It distracts us from remembering our true purpose and from knowing that we can look at it as a whole, and see that everything can and will work out. Of course we know that the trees are not going to go away, but the message is to keep the ultimate prize in mind. Know that each tree we navigate around is another step toward our goal. Focus on the big picture and move around those obstacles one at a time with grace. Before long we will be where we should be and things won't look so daunting anymore! Be Blessed!

Read The Road Map First!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When we are traveling, a GPS system can be a good thing. Sometimes it works great and gets us to our destination no problem. But then other times, we might find ourselves out in the middle of nowhere, not knowing where we are or how to go about finding another route. It can be pretty scary when you depended on the GPS to get you there but instead it sent you into strange territory and nothing looks familiar. That is why it is so important to have studied the road map as well. So that you are at least familiar with where you are going before you put your trust in the navigational system completely. God gives us a road map for how to live our lives, how to manage our finances, and how to make it to Heaven. But we forget to look there first and instead try to figure it out on our own. Then we get lost, we get frustrated and end up just wanting to quit.

When we read God's map, we at least have a good idea of where we are going and through prayer, He can lead us safely there. Let's take out our road map today. Let God lead us to where we need to go, so that we get there safely and on time. Be Blessed!

Never Lose Hope!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There isn't a hope that can sustain us like the hope we find in God. We may put our hope in things around us, but usually, eventually they will fail us. But the hope that comes from God will not fail us. It is everlasting. It is the hope that will keep us going when everything else around us is crumbling. God's hope is a lifeline that reaches us wherever we are. Just like Martin Luther King Jr. said we may have to accept disappointment time and time again, but we can't lose hope. Hope is what gets us up in the morning and gets us going. Hope is what keeps us going day after day. Our hope is in God alone!

Be Blessed!

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. Psalm 62:5

"We must accept finite disappointment, but we must never lose infinite hope."

Press Toward The Mark!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! This passage of scripture(below) was read in the church service yesterday.. it is found in Philippians 3:12-14. This scripture is for all of us who feel that we must be perfect or have it all together all the time. Paul was saying that even though he hasn't quite got hold of it all, he is still pressing toward the mark. Still going forward with his goal in mind. In other words he has no intentions of giving up! We serve a merciful God. We can press on knowing that God is there for us to help us reach our goals. And when we falter or fail, He will pick us up! Be Blessed!

12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

May The Peace Of God Reign!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is Good! "Peace comes when there is no cloud between us and God. Peace is the consequence of forgiveness, God's removal of that which obscures His face and so breaks union with Him. The happy sequence culminating in fellowship with God is penitence, pardon, and peace -- the first we offer, the second we accept, and the third we inherit."

Charles H. Brent

Today, may we experience the peace of God in our lives. May all our troubles seem less. May our love seem more. May our frustrations be limited and our prayers accomplish more! Be Blessed!

Treat Ourselves Kindly Today!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them -- every day begin the task anew." Saint Francis de Sales There are times when we must treat ourselves gently. Being patient with ourselves is so important. We may not get it right the first, second or even third time but we will get it if we don't give up. We may not see progress right away or even for a month, but we will if we just keep believing. God forgives us over and over again, so we need to forgive ourselves that many times as well. Let's treat ourselves kindly today! God Is Good! Be Blessed!

We Are A Unique Design!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Since we are created in our own unique individual design, there isn't a need for comparison. We are as different as each snow flake that falls to the ground. And because of that uniqueness we all have special qualities. Special gifts that are bestowed only to us. Those gifts are inside of us. Those gifts can be used to do wonderful things.

A toaster was meant to toast bread, not blend food. A blender was meant to blend food. So why then do we try to do things that were only meant for others. Why do we compare ourselves to others when we were designed for a specific purpose and none of them are the same. We are God's special unique design. We should start showing it! Be Blessed!

Our Purpose Is Simple!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We struggle sometimes with knowing our purpose in life. We often ask the question, "Why am I here?" We forget that our soul purpose is to worship God. We were created from the beginning to worship God. To be a companion, someone to talk with and commune with. That part hasn't changed. We are still created first and foremost to worship God, but now we must take on other roles as well. Somewhere along the way we have maybe lost our way. So in order to find our way, we must first look to the beginning and began there. Begin again to worship God, to commune with Him. Then slowly things will become clearer. Too many times we are distracted with things that are just that...a distraction. Before following the distraction, test it with your heart. Ask, is this something I can relate to with my heart, does this feel right.. the answer is there.
Sometimes the answer is so simple. Be Blessed!

How Attentive Are We?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! How attentive (mindful, Observant) are we to what God is doing in our lives? Can we recognize how far we have come in our walk with Him? Can we see the progress that we have made? Sometimes we feel we haven't moved at all, sometimes we feel like we may have even slipped backward some, but we must pay attention to the smaller details. God says that He never leaves us nor forsakes us, so that means He is with us no matter where we are. We may not feel as if we climbed a mountain today but we also didn't quit. The journey continues and the progress is in the sometimes mi-nute steps that we take. Pay attention! God is there! Be Blessed!
