What Is Fear?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! No one ever wants to go to war or fight a battle. No one really likes confrontation. And we certainly don't like to have to deal with fear. But sometimes the very thing we avoid, we need. Sometimes it's that fear that gives us the adrenaline to push through. Sometimes its that fear that is standing in the way that we need to conquer. A lot of times fear is just the absence of the knowing, of understanding, of seeing. It's unfamiliar and uncertain. But half of winning the battle is walking through the fear. Half of accomplishing big tasks is just taking the first step. Once we take that step and commit to whatever it is that scares us then the fear goes away. Ever notice that? It's like being afraid of the dark and imagining all sorts of creepy things but then turning on the light and realizing your fear was unfounded. When we have faith in God and we truly trust, there isn't any need for fear....for God is with us and he says when we take one step, he will take two. Be Blessed!

Hope Is....

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Even while the snow is falling, inside us all waiting to burst forth, is the expectancy of spring. So also is true when we are in the depth of adversity, there inside us lies the ability to overcome. We can tap into whatever we need from within. It's all there. The hope of spring, the hope of abundance, the hope of victory...it's all within our grasp. Hope is.....Hope is the thing with feathers; That perches in the soul, And sings the tune--without the words, And never stops at all, a clip from the Emily Dickinson poem "Hope". When we have hope we cannot be stopped. It is the forward motion that propels us to take another step. It is the momentum that pulls us out of bed for another day. It is the gauze that binds a broken heart and it is the breast plate that gives us courage to love again. Be Blessed!

Truth?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What truth are we chasing that may not be a truth at all? Where did that truth come from and do we trust its source? Is it a truth we were told by someone we know? How reliable is that someone? Is everything we hear the truth? Truth is the knowledge that is recognized not only by our ears but by our soul. Is is the very essence of what resonates deep within. We do not have to be told when we hear a truth, we instinctively know it. However, we tend to believe something just because someone told us it was true even though our very being is inside denying and rejecting that so called truth. The Bible says that the truth will make us free. Truth has a way of releasing us from things we are bound to, things that cause us pain, things that hinder us from moving forward. Truth when faced, acknowledged, and accepted changes our life's path forever. What truth do we need to acknowledge today? What truth is waiting to set us free? Be set free and Be Blessed!

Love Is.....

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  I thought this would be a great reminder about love.  Love is the full circle that does not end.  Love is the most important attribute that God requires us to have.  Without love we cannot exist in our true form. 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 - Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.  Be Blessed!

Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus!!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I asked the Lord what He wanted me to share with my Christian Peeps and immediately this song came to mind. I haven't sang or thought of this song in years!!! "It is so sweet to trust in Jesus"! He knows, He sees, He cares! Read the words to this song today and let it wash over us all. Be Blessed!

’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word;
Just to rest upon His promise,
And to know, “Thus saith the Lord!”

Refrain:

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er;
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!

Oh, for grace to trust Him more!
Oh, how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
And in simple faith to plunge me
’Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace.

I’m so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.

’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word;
Just to rest upon His promise,
And to know, “Thus saith the Lord!”
Refrain:

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er;
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

Oh, how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
And in simple faith to plunge me
’Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace.

I’m so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.

With Courage....Walk Through....

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Having courage means walking through fear, danger, the unfamiliar, and the unknown. Holding onto the knowledge that without God our courage would be minimal but with Him it is Giant! With God all things are possible, if we believe. If there is something we need the courage to walk through or understand today, then all we need do is ask God to give us the courage we so desperately need. He is faithful! Be Blessed!

We Are Not Lonely....Just Lacking....

Dear Christian Peeps! This quote reminds us that we are never alone and if we feel alone it is simply because we lack a missing piece. When we can find that missing piece and put it back then we are filled and no longer feel alone. God can always heal our loneliness or any of our problems but we must do the work to see it through. We have our part and He has his part. We can ask God to help us find what we are missing and He will. He may lead us to a book to read or to a class or just to his word but He is faithful to lead us to the answers that we need. Be Blessed!

Loneliness is not what it seems.

One does not feel lonely because one is alone,

but because of a feeling of lack -

a feeling that something is missing.

Loneliness is essentially independent

of how many other humans are around.

It has much more to do with one's self-esteem -

one's sense of inherent worth.
