Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes there are puddles on our path. We can decide to step in them or go around them. We can decide to get wet or stay dry. It's not a hard decision but just a decision. If we decide to step into the puddle, we can then decide to dance in the puddle or stand. If we go around the puddle we can't spend time wondering what the puddle would have been like. So in essence, life is full of decisions that need to be made but it's the attitude with which we make them that determines the outcome of our decisions. Be Blessed!

Through The Past and Through The Failures....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes we think because of our past, we have no future. We believe because of our failures there are no successes. But if we think that way we are wrong. It's through our past that we gain a future, and it's in our failures that we find success. God cannot get glory in situations that did not involve Him. He cannot show us how much we need him until he let's us fail on our own. We cannot reach up until we are down. We must have a past in order to have a future. The Bible is full of men and women who had dirty past and failed God in so many ways. But through their dirty past and their many failures God was glorified, he was exalted and lifted up. So don't let the enemy tell us that God cannot use us because of our past or our failures......that is the only way he will use us! Leave the past and try again....God is waiting! Be Blessed!

Burn Those Bridges To The Past....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! The quote below says I demolish my bridges behind me....than there is no choice but to move forward. There comes a time when we have to quit looking behind us. When we need to stop crossing the bridge of the past. When we need to quit repairing that bridge of regret. There comes a time when if we tear down those bridges from the past than we can move forward with no intention of ever going back. Our future does not lie in the past but in the future....the future is forward. Today we burn those bridges and walk with purpose toward the future that waits. Be Blessed!

Written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio .
"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me.
It is the most requested column I've ever written.
My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good..
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15.. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words :'In five years, will this matter?'
27. Always choose life..
28. Forgive everyone everything.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.

Stagnant Or Free?
Good Morning Christian Peeps! If you have ever seen stagnant water you know how disgusting it can be. But to see a free flowing body of water is beautiful! It looks fresh and wonderful. This brings to mind a question? Are we stagnant water or a free flowing body of water? Are we standing still or moving? If we are standing still what is it that is keeping us stagnant? Fear perhaps? It's time to break the dam on our stagnant lives and create free flowing living beautiful waters. It's time to pour into others what God has gifted us! It's time to quit letting the enemy dam us up with fear! It's time! Be Blessed!

It's All About Leading!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I am reading a book by Max Lucado called a Cast of Characters. I highly recommend it! So in reading this book I decided to look up some of his quotes because they are so good and found the one below. I wanted to share it today. "To lead the orchestra, you have to turn your back on the crowd." I must admit that I have been wanting so badly to do a work for God, but it was only this weekend when a visiting minister gave me an AHA moment. He basically said the same thing as the quote. Now, keep in mind that I knew this but knowing and doing are sometimes two very different things. I had the common spiritual disease of trying to straddle the fence. I wanted an anointed walk with God but I also wanted to hold onto some fun things that only the world can give. Obviously it doesn't work that way. So in order to do God's work I have to give up those things that come between me and Him. I pray that if you are struggling with hearing from God, or knowing what your purpose is, that as I did, we can all evaluate where we are, where our focus is and see if there are some things that we need to give up in order to get where we need to go. Be Blessed!
To lead the orchestra, you have to turn your back on the crowd.”

Keep It Simple!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes I believe that we make our lives way too complicated. The principles in the Bible that God ask us to live by are not hard, but quite simple. A friend of mine reminded me today that there are two simple phrases that if lived by just might change our lives. The first one is "Stop It". Stop the negativity, stop the sinning, stop the depression, stop the bad thoughts, stop whatever is harming us....the list could go on and on....just stop it. Then there is the phrase that Nike coined, "just do it". We can use this in a simple positive way. Just do it....just walk through the fear, just be positive, just smile, just make that move, just change your attitude, just believe, and this list could go on and on as well, "just do it". I hope someone reads this today and has an AHA moment! Stop making your life complicated, apply the simple principles of God and life and Just do it! Be Blessed!

For Such A Time As This!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! "For such a time as this"..... I'm sure we all know the story of Esther. We can probably quote it completely. But let's take another look this morning. In the scriptures, Mordecai tells Esther that she doesn't have to be the one that saves her people, that God can use someone else but to think, that maybe she was put in her position for such a time as this. Most of us are still searching for where we fit in, what we are supposed to be doing, when truthfully, we are where we are for "such a time as this". Maybe it's time to say okay Lord, I get it....you have me here for a specific purpose and instead of looking for what isn't there...maybe I just need to except where I am and watch God go to work. He gives us the choice of being used. We don't have to, but when we do great things are accomplished. Esther could have died, that was a real possibility. But God doesn't put you in precarious situations that he isn't able to bring you through. Be Blessed!

The Giver Of Life....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! We are all born with special gifts and talents, but sometimes as we wonder through this fallen world, we lose sight of those gifts that God bestowed on us. Those wonderful talents that just seem to touch people in a special way. We get busy with mundane life and become exhausted and empty. It is important to remember that when we feel that we have reached a point of exhaustion and emptiness, to return to our source. That source that gives renewed life. That river of life that pours back into us what we have lost. Be encouraged to run to the river today and ask the giver of life to restore, renew and refill that which we have lost. Be Blessed!
