Good Morning Christian Peeps! It is important that during this Holiday Season, we remember it is not what we get but what we can give. Luke 6:38 says: Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” It's not the gifts we give others but the love we show toward them. Money may help for a little while but love last so much longer. I hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season and you are blessed! Merry Christmas!

Relinquish Control to God
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Often we find ourselves faced with yet another dilemma in our lives. We may worry or fret and often spend hours trying to figure out what we need to do, when really we can save ourselves lots of gray hair, upset stomachs and headaches by just releasing our worries to the one that has complete control. Just as we would let our children go on a first date, first sleep over, or just a weekend away, we have to let our problems go as well. We put our children in God's hands when they leave and relinquish control because once they leave us the control is pretty much gone. The same goes for our problems. Just as we believe that God and the angels watch over and keep our children safe, we also must believe that he will watch over and take care of our problems. He promises in his word that he will. So today, if we are struggling with worry, doubt, decisions, just turn them over, relinquish control and let God take over. It always works out in the end. God knows best! Be Blessed!

Keep Hope Alive
Good Morning Christian Peeps! "When the world says "give up", Hope whispers, "try one more time". It's that moment when we feel that we cannot try again, that we are tired of trying and not seeing results. But it's when we push through the feeling of wanting to quit and embrace hope one more time that something wonderful can and will happen. If we give up, then all chances of something happening goes away, but if we keep being determined to try again and again, then the possibilities remain. It's those possibilities that keep us going. It's those possibiliies that can make a difference. Don't quit! Don't give up! Let hope float! Be Blessed!

Destiny Calling.....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! What fires us up? What is it that everytime we talk about it or hear someone mention it just get's us going? Well that something could be what we were destined to do or get involved in. I believe it is the very thing that we feel burning in us that is our passion. Start paying attention to what matters. Start recognizing what makes us set up and take notice, or what makes us come alive. That is where we can start when searching for our destiny callinig. May we all get a hold of that passion and run with it like never before. We all have a destiny calling and if we miss it, it could be like a chain link fence missing a link. We are all needed in order to achieve what we are meant to do in this world. Be Blessed!

Only Today!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is the keeper of our past, our today's and our future. He can bring restitution for our past, strengthen our foundations today and place blessings in our future. Sometimes we just have to turn it all over to him and as humans that is the hardest part. We spend a lot of time dwelling on our past, too much time worrying about our futures and not enough time living for today. It's in the right now moments that our blessings exist. We can't hope to receive today when we are already focused on tomorrow. I encourage all of us to be here right now in every moment. Take the time to listen so that we can hear what is right for us now. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Be Blessed!

Love and Kindness Makes a Difference!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Love and Kindness when shared blesses the one who receives it and blesses the one who gives it. That is a double blessing! Each time we reach out in love and kindness something amazing comes from it. Each day we have the opportunity to either do what Jesus did everyday he walked on Earth, or do what the world tells us to do. Jesus taught love and kindness and his message was powerful. His love was felt by everyone he came in contact with and they were changed. Let us strive today to spread the love of Jesus to everyone we meet. It does make a difference. Be Blessed!

Embrace Today!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Living in the moment means embracing not what we expect the day to be, but what it will be. Everyday represents another day that we have great opportunities. Opportunity to love someone that needs it so badly. Opportunity to reach out to someone that is struggling with pain, disappointment, and grief. An opportunity to be the best person God created us to be. When we spend our time and energy trying to make the day turn out like we think it should we miss opportunities to change our lives for the better. Life will never be what we expect, but it will be what it needs to be. When we can accept what it needs to be then and only then will our lives change. God wants to do great things through us, but we make that impossible when we limit what we will allow him to do. Turn loose of expectations and allow God to show us his amazing plan for our life. Be Blessed!

In Our Weakness, He Is Strong!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. II Corinthians 12:9 I am reminded of an event that took place not too long ago. I was invited to speak at a Women's Conference in Oklahoma. It was my first real invite and I was so excited. A little scared but excited. I studied, prepared, prayed and come that morning I was ready to go. I was supposed to be the first speaker on stage but the gentleman running the conference kept moving me back on the agenda. At first I was like that's okay.. I need to wake up some more anyway. But as I continued to get moved back, I began to say what's going on Lord? Everyone of the speakers ahead of me touched on part of my presentation and my confidence began to wane. I was just starting to get my inner whine on when a lady walked into the room and the holy spirit spoke and said that is why you are here. I immediately began to pray but also wonder if I should change what I had planned to say. Trying once again to work things in my own way. Well, needless to say, I finally got my turn but then my CD that I had recorded my soundtrack on wouldn't play. I was counting on that intro to lead into my planned speech. I had to take a detour and totally surrender my time on that stage to God. I had to depend on him to give me whatever he wanted me to say.....and he did. Afterward the lady purchased my CD and sent me a long email about how she really needed to hear those words that God gave me that day. It was then I realized that in my weakness God can then take over and really use me the way he needed to. I want to always be weak for Christ. I don't ever want to get in his way and take the lead. Thank you God for creating that moment of weakness so that I would let you be strong.

Sometimes Being Lost Is A Good Thing!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Not until we are lost do we begin to find ourselves. Thoreau I believe we do not know to look for ourselves until we are lost. When we are traveling we may not even consult a map until we realize we are lost, then and only then do we begin to question, search, and look for another way. It's the same in life. We won't feel the need to look for ourselves until we become lost then we are forced to take a good look around and begin the necessary steps to find out who we really are! Thank God he allows us to get lost. It becomes our wake up call that we have strayed from who we are and need to readjust back to the original plan. So if we find ourselves feeling lost, take it as a sign, get quiet and look inside. It's time to find ourselves! Be Blessed!

It Goes Beyond Just Hearing!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! We can sit in on motivational speeches, we can read inspirational books and we can hear God's words about abundant living but if we do not have faith and belief in ourselves we can't go beyond what we hear. In order to put words into action we must first believe in those words and believe that it is possible. Our confidence in ourselves comes from within. It's that confidence that propels us into action. We were all created for a purpose but we must believe in that purpose and our abilities enough to make that purpose come to fruition. Works is what we can do, Faith is what God does. Be Blessed!

From Valleys to Mountain Tops!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! It's the foundation of our mountains that keeps us stable, it's the mountain tops that keep us going! We begin in the valley, gathering our strength and fortitude, counting supplies, and gearing up to begin our journey up life's mountain. Many times we will slip and return to the valley to regroup and decide a new route; then begin again to reach that part that sets us free. After many struggles, stops and starts, we finally reach the top. We take a moment in our exultation, recognizing love like never before wrapping the success around us and basking in the moment. Then, we turn and look to the new mountain and begin again. Life is full of valley's and mountain tops, joys and sorrows and we wouldn't have it any other way. Be Blessed!

Let The Blessings Catch Up!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! When we stop chasing the wrong things we give the right things a chance to catch us. There were never truer words for me. I have spent most of my life chasing the wrong things that I thought were the right things. Very rarely did I consult my maker to find out if we were on the same page. Hardly ever did I stop and listen to see if he had other plans. However, now, I am listening, I have stopped chasing and I am consulting Him in all things. I have a new peace that He is guiding me all the way. Turning my life over completely to Him is the best thing I have ever done. It's kind of exciting to not know what is going to happen but having that knowing that it's gonna be good. God works all things to our good! How exciting is that! Be Blessed!

Out With The Old And In With The New!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Holding onto something that is good for you now, may be the very reason why you don't have something better.” ― C. JoyBell C. With open hands extended toward God, we accept new gifts. If we have our hands full already then how do we propose that God give us something better? We have to let go of the old things that we are still holding onto in order for Him to bless us with better things. When that something we are holding onto does not serve us anymore, it is time to let it go and await with expectation the new things he wants to give us. Out with the old and in with the new. Be Blessed!

Financially Broke, But Spiritually Sound!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Broke Is not Broken. Being broke is not the same as being broken, losing money is not the same as being lost, and finding your balance is not something you can do on a balance sheet. Beliefnet We worry so much about our financial state. When we pay our bills, will there be enough money? But if we think back, how long has this been going on? How long have we been in this state.....on the mice's wheel still chasing the dream but getting more and more in debt. So why are we letting our financial state dictate who we are and what we do? Our spiritual worth is way more important than our physical worth, since when we die we can't take any of this "so called wealth" with us. So today instead of focusing on our broke selves, why don't we focus on what is broken? Why don't we say nothing has changed about my physical wealth no matter what I do, so why don't I take a leap of faith and let God show me spiritually what I can do. He says in his word that he will never leave us or forsake us...i'm pretty sure that means in all things including our finances. When we grow spiritually, we won't need to worry financially. Be Blessed!

He is Here Among Us!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! “I sought to hear the voice of God and climbed the topmost steeple, but God declared: "Go down again - I dwell among the people.” ― John Henry Newman I think sometimes we feel that God is out of our reach. That no amount of prayer will reach him. But we must recognize that God is not out in the cosmos somewhere but here in our hearts and if we have accepted him in our spirit. He dwells here among us, not in some obscure location. He is in our quiet moments when we take the time to listen. He is in those sad moments when we just need a shoulder to cry on. He is in those moments when tragedy could have struck but his hand intervened. He is God and he is here! Be Blessed!

Nestled Safely in Amazing Grace!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Are we weak and heavy laden today? Take it to the Lord in prayer. He knows our every weakness, we can just take it to him in prayer. One of the songs I heard this morning says, "I am nestled safely in Amazing Grace. I love the word nestled, it denotes a feeling of warmth and safety. That is what the Father does for us. He takes us and nestles us warmly and safely into his Amazing Grace. I am thankful for that grace. By his grace we find salvation, by his grace, we are forgiven and by his grace we are restored. Let's God's grace nestle us today, and supply all our needs. Be Blessed!

God Is There....Always!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Yesterday, one of the cats I had rescued but stays gone a lot, made his way back to my house and meowed loudly until I fed him and fed him and fed him. Needless to say my first thought was how dare you stay gone for days and then come back expecting me to feed you no questions asked. But then my next thought was how many times have I done the same thing to my savior. Gone for days without giving him a thought, just going about my busy life until something happens and I need him, then here I go, running back to him praying loudly for help. The great thing is, just like the prodigal son, God accepts us back in, supplies our needs, loves us unconditionally and doesn't judge us for where we may have been. What a lesson in love. God is there, no matter how far away we get he is always right there to take us back into his arms and make everything okay. Be Blessed!

Stop and Listen!
Good Afternoon Christian Peeps! Sometimes it's hard to know if we are making the right decisions or not. Maybe it's because there is a struggle between our heart and our head. I can remember needing to make a serious decision and I really wanted God to let me know if it wasn't the right one. I remember saying, "OK God, if this isn't right, show me in a big way"... because sometimes I can be dense. Well, right in the middle of the situation I saw a flashing red stop sign going off in my mind. That was the first time that had happened so I knew immediately it was a no. Since then I have prayed that I would become more sensitive to hearing or feeling what is the right decision to make. God is faithful to lead us and guide us in the right direction if we will pay attention to all the signs and listen intently to our hearts. Be Blessed!

Can We Commit Like Ruth?
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Ruth stated in the Bible that wherever Naomi went she would go, she was adamant about staying with Naomi and later she received a huge blessing. I believe that we have to become committed to the purpose that God has placed in us, even when we aren't sure of what that is. I believe that although we may not get the big picture all at once that He will begin to show it to us in increments if we truly trust in him. Ruth didn't know at the time what was down the road but she was determined to stay committed no matter what that meant. Today is the day to recommit to that purpose to decide to trust no matter what it looks like to us. Stay strong! Be Blessed!

Mary or Martha?
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Being busy is not necessarily being productive, it's just being busy. There is a story in the Bible about two sisters, Mary and Martha. When Jesus came around Mary found herself at his feet listening and hanging onto every word. But Martha was a doer, always working, always staying busy. She believed that she was accomplishing great things by cooking food, and cleaning the house, but those things did not matter to Christ. He just wanted to share his love and the gospel and speak into their lives. What about us today? Are we the Mary who takes the time to stop and listen; to glean wisdom and knowledge or do we just keep right on barreling through with our busy things that we do. Are we being productive or just being busy? I think it's a great question to ask ourselves. What is all this busyness getting me? Where is it taking me. If we are not affecting lives the way Christ would then are we being productive? Does all the material things in this world really make that much difference? Do they truly make us happy? I don't want to be just busy, I want to be productive. Father, help us to slow down and reassess our lives. Help us to truly do the things that you would want us to do and affect the lives of people around us. Let us do away with the busy work that so distracts us from your true purpose and let us dwell in your Holy Place and find what it is that we need to truly be doing to be productive in your Kingdom. Thank you! Amen! Be Blessed!

God Is Faithful!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes we as humans let each other down. We don't mean to but it's a struggle what with all our humanness going on, but the one thing we should be assured of is that God never lets us down. He never leaves us nor forsakes us. We may feel as if he has disappeared, but that may be because he is at the front of the line working things to our good. Just because we can't see it with our humanly eyes doesn't mean that things are not happening..... this is where faith comes in. I must tell you that there is such a peace when we can truly let it all go and give it to God. What an amazing feeling...it really feels as if you are being carried. God is so good! Be Blessed!

Roadblocks Be Gone!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Dealing with roadblocks can be debilitating. We would much prefer to find a way around them even if it means going 200 miles out of the way. But what happens is the roadblock in your life is still there and it will resurface again and again. At some point we just have to deal with it. Find a way to tear it down. Whether it's physical, emotional or whatever it is, we have to find a way to just get rid of it once and for all. If we don't, true happiness will evade us time and again and we will not be able to move forward into the life we were meant to live. Dear Father, we pray for courage to meet the roadblock head on. We pray for strength to find the ways to tear it down and we pray for wisdom to move forward after it's gone. Thank you! Be Blessed!

It's Time To Fly.....So Jump!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! If we do not leave the nest, we cannot hope to fly. It's so comfortable and safe to stay where we have always been. It's so nice to not have to worry about anything, to just keep doing what we know and not rock the boat. But when we play it safe we only get safe. It's only when we take a risk, that we can hope to find new and exciting ventures. If we are feeling stuck, unsatisfied or unfulfilled, then we are the one to blame. It's time to quit playing it safe and jump out of the nest. The great thing about jumping from the nest is that if we fail and start to fall, God will catch us and safely return us to try again. So what do we have to lose? Jump! Be Blessed!

God Sees The Heart!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes I think we make things harder for ourselves then they really should be. Especially when it comes to serving Christ. A few times Christ mentioned unless we become like children; Matthew 18:3 "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." Little children trust, take things at face value, live simply and love without prejudice. I remember growing up thinking that in order to be saved I needed to pray like those around me but it didn't feel authentic to me. It has taken me this long to realize that my relationship with God is unique to me. It's not how long I pray or what I say but the sincerity within my heart. The place from which the words come from. (But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.) I encourage each of us today to stop basing our relationship with God on how much we do, how much we say, what others are doing, but more on how sincere we are. God sees our heart and he knows our needs even before we pray......so sincerely ask for what you need and receive. Be blessed!

When We Can Wait, We Can Renew!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Romans 8:24-25 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. Patience? Waiting? Neither of these two things are easy to do. In the day and age we live in now, it is instant gratification. We are so used to fast Internet, fast food, etc. that we want everything to be that way. So having to be patient can be critical. But there are good reasons to wait, mainly because "good things come to those who wait". When we wait upon the Lord to move for us he tells us that we can renew our strength. So although it may seem as if nothing is happening, we are given the opportunity to renew our strength for we do not know what might be just around the corner. So today, let us wait upon the Lord, let us renew our strength for the good things that he has planned for us. Be Blessed!

Have Faith, Don't Worry!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Our heavenly Father understands our disappointment, suffering, pain, fear, and doubt. He is always there to encourage our hearts and help us understand that He's sufficient for all of our needs. When I accepted this as an absolute truth in my life, I found that my worrying stopped. Charles Stanley Its the hardest thing, I think as a human being to stop worrying. I'm sure that if we stop long enough to take stock in things that have happened in our lives we would realize that although we didn't have control over them, in the end they turned out alright. I know that stress accompanies worry and I know that peace comes with not worrying. I we believe that our Father is true to his word and if we believe that he does in fact work all things to our good, then we must believe that when we turn everything over to him he is faithful to do just that. When we have faith in him, then worry is not a part of what we do anymore. I pray for us all that we choose to not worry and to have faith in our Heavenly Father who loves and cares for us! Be blessed!

Every Morning Is A New Fresh Love and Compassion!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Lamentations 3:22-23 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassion never fails. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I am so thankful that his compassion never fails and that it is new for me every morning. God is so faithful to love us and to work everything to our good. If we can just turn loose of our hold and expectations for our lives and let him show us the purpose and the plan; the dream and the vision that he has for us, then every morning can be a new opportunity to turn everything over to our God and let his love wash us anew! Be Blessed!

Simple Truths Abound!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes the simplest truths are manifested as the most profound. We put gas in our car to make it run properly, we change the oil so that it runs at its optimal best. We change tires so that the car will keep us safe on the road. The same is true with our bodies. When we put healthy foods into our bodies it runs at its best. When we replenish the water our bodies are fulfilled. When we keep our muscles strong we keep our bodies safe on our journey. Our best health is in our hands and only we can insure that it stays that way. We can't put garbage into our bodies and expect health.....it's just the way it is. Let us embrace the simple truths today. It's really not that complex.... Be Blessed!

It's Time to Move!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! If you do something, something will change. Every move we make we are affecting someone near us. Every word we say we are impacting those around us. Every time we elect to do something there is change. We can't accomplish any of this if we remain still, if we do not move. We can't hope for things to be brighter, more hopeful, more loving if we do not become a part of that change. The time to stay where we are is past. The time for complacency has run it's course. It's now time to move. It's now time to do something, anything! Change only comes when we move. Be Blessed!

The Chapters Of Our Life.
Good Morning Christian Peeps! You cannot finish the book of life, without closing it's chapters. If you want to go on... then you have to leave the past as you turn the pages. - Anonymous Every day we live we are constantly adding to our book of life. We fill the pages everyday with our stories. What are we writing about? Are we writing? We can't continue the book if we are stuck on a particular chapter. Every chapter has to be closed out before we can begin a new one. The greatest part is we get to choose what content will go in each chapter. We get to fill the pages according to our beliefs, our strengths and our triumphs or we can remain where we are if we are only focusing on failure, disbelief and weakness. Let's deal with the chapter we are writing, let's heal the things we don't like, then close it out and move on to the new and exciting chapters we are going to write. We can choose an abundant life or we can live a depressive life....it's our choice. Be blessed!

Let Us Give Hope!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! We must not lose hope! Hope is that which when we feel weak nudges us on. Hope is what fills us when we see the sun after a long winter. Hope is what wraps around looming despair, and makes it less than what we thought. Hope is what we need to continue everyday. There are those around us who are giving up the fight, who are losing hope, we must at all cost, throw them a lifeline. We must surround our loved ones with love and encouragement. Let our encouraging words be the safety net that catches them when they can no longer stand. Today should be the day that we throw caution to the wind and look for those who need a hand. Let's pull them up! It's imperative that we do not let them slip through our fingers! Father we pray for those who are losing hope today. We ask that your loving kindness reach out to them and put someone in their path to encourage them on! Let us be your hands and feet and softly spoken loving words that changes someone for the better. In your name. Amen! Be Blessed!

Love Conquers All!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I was just telling my boys this, this morning. Hurt people hurt people. That’s how pain patterns gets passed on, generation after generation after generation. Break the chain today. Meet anger with sympathy, contempt with compassion, cruelty with kindness. Greet grimaces with smiles. Forgive and forget about finding fault. Love is the weapon of the future. Yehuda Berg I totally believe that love conquers everything that is wrong. It crosses lines that seem impossible to cross. It diffuses anger, it takes away pain and eases self loathing. When we meet others with love then we receive love back. Maybe not right away but little by little we chip away at the stone wall that has been their defense mechanism for so long. Everyone just needs to know they are loved and someone cares. Christ preaches love and freely gives it away .. Love conquers all! Be Blessed!

Pressure Be Gone!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! “The only pressure I’m under is the pressure I’ve put on myself.” -Mark Messier. It is okay that we do not have all the answers. It's okay that we can't fix the people around us. It's okay if we can't solve all the problems we face and it's okay if we acknowledge that we do not have control. Sometimes we can't help those we love the most and that's okay too. The only real thing that we can do is pray, support, love, hug, and listen. That is really all that is required for ourselves and others. Peace comes when we stop trying to fix, control, solve, or impress. Peace comes when we acknowledge our Creator and allow Him to fully work in our lives. My prayer is this: Father, I do not understand this world or the things in this world. I sometimes am not aware of my purpose. Please help me to allow you to take the reigns in my life, to guide me as you would a ship and always seek your direction. Let me listen to others and pray for their needs instead of trying to fix them. Help me to see what you see and to trust like you ask that I trust. Amen. Be Blessed!

Let Go Of The Old And Embrace The New!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! “Last night I lost the world, and gained the universe.” ― C. JoyBell C. Sometimes we've lost the battle but won the war. It's not about what we are holding onto but what we let go of that brings about change. If we always do what we have always done and if we live where we have always lived and if we work at the same job we have always worked then how is there supposed to be change in our lives. If we don't try new things or go new places or work new jobs how will we know if we have truly gained what we are seeking or achieved what has been missing? We have new highways and roads because someone was curious enough to find out where they would lead. We have new technology being born because we have people who aren't afraid to take a risk or a chance. Where is our adventurous self? Where have we left the curious child that should have grown up to be a curious adult. Without curiosity we may never know what could have been. Look for a new path.... and find something new. Be Blessed!

I Used Everything You Gave Me!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'.
Erma Bombeck Me Too! Wouldn't it be great if at the end of our lives, we didn't have any regrets... we had completed everything God purposed in us and we had used every drop of talent he had bestowed on us? Wow! What an amazing life! Well, I believe that we can have that life, but we must get our priorities straight. We need to ask ourselves. Is what I am doing, 1. making a difference 2. using my God-given talents 3. fulfilling my purpose in life? It's time that we make a change. It's time we decide what it is that we were put here on earth for and get busy doing it. May God show us today the answers to our questions and give us the courage and the strength to follow through! Be Blessed!

Make The Decision!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Again and again, the impossible problem is solved when we see that the problem is only a tough decision waiting to be made. - Robert H. Schuller I love this....so many times I have realized that my frustration did not come from the problem itself but from not being able to just bite the bullet and make a decision, one way or the other. Sometimes even if we make the wrong move it's better than not making a move at all, because there are still consequences from not making that move just as it would be if we made the wrong move. So maybe it's just time to make a move and see where it takes you. Indecision not only weighs heavily on you but begins a pattern of being indecisive. May we pray for guidance and just take the leap today! Be blessed!

Uncomfortable = Finest Moments
Good Morning Christian Peeps! The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers. ~M. Scott Peck This says it all! I pray that we all become uncomfortable so that we may achieve our purpose in this life.

It's Time To Shed The Old Skin!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! "The snake that cannot shed its skin perishes." -- Nietzsche. I saw this quote and immediately thought about all the times we may have been afraid to try something new, or just begin again, or take a much needed step or risk. It is true that if we cannot continue to learn and change, we cannot continue to grow and prosper. When we lag behind, or drag our feet, or grab a hold of a rope to stay put, we are hindering that which is in us that needs to be manifested. We are in essence robbing ourselves of our destiny and our calling. We are so afraid of hurting someone feelings, or changing too much, or being different that we hold ourselves back. We continue to let others cut in line ahead of us. We continue to lose out by not listening to that voice that says, "go ahead, take a chance".... When we cannot shed our old skin and acknowledge the possibility of a new skin then we cannot and will not move forward. I pray that we all shed that old skin and give our new skin the opportunity to show the world what we can do. Be Blessed!

Find A Way, Not An Excuse!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes I find quotes that just stand out as brilliant. We know these things but we don't know these things. "If it is important to you, you will find a way, if it's not you will find an excuse". So true. How many times have we made excuses for not losing weight, not eating healthy, to not quit drinking or smoking, or not taking a risk? My motto has always been "how bad do you want it". I am a firm believer that if you want something bad enough you will move Heaven and Earth to get it. So does that mean that what we want in life isn't that important? Instead of complaining about what we don't like, how about changing it. We are the only ones that can want so desperately to to accomplish something that we quit making excuses and find a way to make it happen. I hope we all take that to heart today and begin making a difference! Be blessed!

We Are Okay....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! When our worries get us down. When we are totally focused on what to do. When we are torn apart and so confused... look around at those things that were here before us. Look around at the things that we have no control over. Look at the stars and the Heavens, the flowers and the trees, then we will know that if they are doing okay, so are we. We don't have to be in control to be okay. We don't have to know the answers for things to get done. We don't have to be perfect for life to continue. Let go....let God. Be Blessed!

Can't See The Forest For The Trees!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes we allow the trees to get in our way of what lies in the forest. Remember, the saying, "not being able to see the forest for the trees?" This phrase simply means that you can't view a situation clearly because you are too involved or paying attention to the little details instead of looking at the big picture. Sometimes those trees can keep us from reaching our true potential. Sometimes we spend so much of our time doing what the trees need and want that we don't focus on what we are meant to be doing. If the trees can keep us busy for them and make their lives easier then we don't have time to focus on what we are supposed to be doing, which in essence causes frustration, stress, and ultimately a loss of hope in what we were called to do. Maybe it's time to stand up to the trees and tell them that it's time for them to take care of their own forest and get on with doing what we know we were called to do. Be Blessed!

Fully Surrender!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! When I walk in the valley of the shadow of death, you are my God. When I am weak and need to rest, you are my God. When troubles come and I can't see, the mountain for the valley and trees, you are my God. When my heart breaks into, no one else can do what you do.... you are my God. If there is someone out there that feels alone, tired, hopeless, lost, unsure, confused.... God can reach you at those places. Our friends and family may not be able to be what we need but God can. If we can truly surrender (yield, give up, submit, resign) ourselves and our lives to God, then and only then can He show us his glory! Dear Lord, I pray for surrender in many of our lives. Let us truly let go, quit trying to make outcomes be what we see and instead let you lead us where we need to go. Allow our hearts to fully surrender to your will, whatever that may be. In Jesus name.

Time For Surgery!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Went to the Oral Surgeon today because of issues with a tooth. Turns out it was a different tooth and I had to have a root canal under a porcelain crown. Underneath we were surprised to see infection and a lot of inflammation Now I didn't have pain with the tooth just discomfort. That's makes me think about some of us who experienced events that caused pain. Over time the pain can become hidden beneath layers of smiles, churning, probably causing discomfort at times. By the surgeon going deep, draining the infection and then killing the root he gave me a chance at healing and getting rid of all my discomfort. God does the same thing for all of our hurts in our past. If we will let him, he will dig deep, drain the infection and kill the root of our hurt and allow us to heal. Can we give him that opportunity today. Can we let him do surgery on us so that we may heal and have a more abundant life? Be blessed!

God Is There!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! "God does not create a lock without its key & God does not give you problems without its solutions! TRUST HIM." Unknown. For everything that we may face today, God already has the answer. For every cross road that we may face in the future, God has already laid out the correct path. For every mountain that we must climb, God has extended a hand to help us up. And for every valley that we find ourselves in, He is the fire that keeps us the warm, the bread that we eat, and the warm blanket wrapped around our shoulders. God is there! When we doubt that, all we have to do is breathe in and breathe out and we will know.....God is there! Be Blessed!

Our True Compass
Good Morning Christian Peeps! If the map doesn't agree with the ground, the map is wrong! We are equipped with an inner compass that should we listen will guide us in all things. Since that inner compass was set by God it is a true compass, meaning it can never be wrong. The sad part is that the people around us try to lovingly guide us and help us with our road map but ultimately they can't know what our true compass says. So therefore we have to consult God, our inner compass for what we should do and where we should go. I'm not saying that others can't help us but we should really try to get quiet and ask God what his intentions are for our lives. He already has the plan but I think we forget to consult him on occasion to make sure we don't get lost. If we do he is more than happy to help us find our way back. Let God be our true road map in everything we do. Be Blessed!

The Loving Hand That Heals.
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Even though my Mom has gone I can still remember the times that I would call her up on the phone and instantly she could hear the hurt in my voice, and she would say "What's wrong baby"? I would begin to cry and she would softly talk me through it and make it all better. We all struggle with needing that soft voice and touch to make us feel better. Maybe we don't have that someone to touch us anymore or speak kind words but our Father in Heaven can do just that, if we let him. He is just waiting for the opportunity to wipe away our tears, hold us gently and make all the sorrows go away. Just because he is not physical to us doesn't mean he can't reach us. We can turn it all over to him today. We can let him speak to us and wipe away all our tears. He loves us so much! Be Blessed!

Remind the Enemy of the Cross!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! It's important to reiterate that there is nothing impossible with God! So many times we get in a weakened state, the enemy tries to get us to think on the bad things not on the good things. This morning I began to remind myself of the times that God saw me through. When I was a child I had a hip that always popped out of place, it made me walk funny and I was embarrassed. But one night in a good holy ghost filled church service, my Grandmother who just passed, got me in a circle and the church people began to pray. The Lord moved miraculously that night and I never again had a problem with my hip popping out of place. That is just one incident I could go on and on. The message is when the enemy tries to tell you the bad remind him of the good! When the Bible says we have to encourage ourselves, I believe that's what he means. Remind Satan of the cross, remind him of what God has done over and over again! This morning we have to lift ourselves up, we have to discard negative thinking and attitudes and we have to truly believe that all things are possible with God! Be blessed!

Out Of The Dark, Into The Light!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! We must take a risk sometimes in order to accomplish our goal or learn new things. By staying in our safe zone, we will most likely not get to experience new things that can lead to our passion. I have stepped out of the box so many times to try new things and even though I may not have received my desired results, I have learned new things and grown tremendously. Sometimes we just want to play it safe, stay in our box, and pretend that we are happy. But how do we expect to achieve anything if we stay in our box? Years ago our church taught us that we needed to bring in the "lost", except we weren't allowed to associate with the "lost". How then can we expect to be effective and show the love of God if we don't crawl out of our box and do the things that scare us the most. If Thomas Edison had not attempted all of his inventions, we would not have the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and a long-lasting, practical electric light bulb. So let's not waste the talents and gifts we have been given because we are afraid. Let's take that first step out of the cave today and do something extraordinary! Be blessed!

Peace comes....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! We must first obtain peace if we want to be peaceful. Peace comes when we let worry go. Peace comes when we stop fighting and start loving. Peace comes when we strive for happiness rather than power. Peace truly comes when we let things be. If truly our Heavenly Father knows all and works everything to our good, then why should we worry? Why should we fret? Seek his direction, his will, his heart and then and only then will we find the peace we are looking for and the life we have always dreamed of. When we give ourselves and our lives over to Him, then we know peace, then we know the meaning of our lives. Be Blessed!

Walk On Water!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes we spend way too much time looking at the water than at Jesus. We all know the story of when Jesus calmed the storm out on the Sea and Peter ask the Lord if he could come to him. Now Peter knew what he was asking.....let me walk to you...he believed! Jesus bid him come and Peter began walking on the water to Jesus. But like many of us, all of a sudden he realized what he was doing and looked down at the situation around him. He lost contact with Jesus and began to sink. So many times in our daily lives, we lose sight of Jesus, the one who controls our situations, and who calms the storms in our lives. We stop focusing on Him and we start trying to figure it out on our own. Let's raise our eyes back up to the one who really holds our yesterday's, our today's and our tomorrows and let Him bid us come. Let's grasp our faith again and begin to walk on water! Be Blessed!

"Let It Be"....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! The song "Let It Be" by the Beatles is in my head. This morning I thought if only we could really let go and trust God and just let it be, our lives would be so much easier. So much simpler, so less stressful. Even though we know we are not in control of the things around us, we still find ourselves, worrying, fretting, stressing over them. How fruitless is that? How crazy is that? If we know not to worry and to have faith but we don't practice it, isn't that the same as the scripture, "he that knows to do good but does not do it, to him it's a sin? I have determined in my heart to let go more. To trust more, to really practice the faith that I know deep down I have. I have been in that peaceful place when I have trusted and I know how that feels....I want to be there again. My prayer, Dear wonderful Father, please help me to let go of all my problems, worries, stresses, and just know that you have them all handled. Let me walk in your wisdom and knowledge knowing that everything works to my good. I give them to you once again. I release them and pray that I will always hand them to you and not take them back. I trust in you with all my heart. Amen! Be blessed!

Redemption!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! There isn't anything that we have done or will do that can take away redemption. All of us have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but there is redemption through Christ Jesus. So no matter how many voices try to convince us that we have fallen too many times, that we are no longer worthy of grace we know that is not true. We have been given grace freely. It is there for all of us. I love the quote below... Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future. We have all been there and done that. So quit reflecting on what you have done and begin to reflect on God's grace and what you can do!

Be, Do, Have....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! It's all relative. The people we meet, the jobs we secure, the things we accomplish. Sometimes we wonder or at least I do, "What does it all mean"? Are we where we should be, did we miss an opportunity, should we have done something else? But according to everything I read, we are where we are, yes, from choices we make, but also because with every choice comes a lesson. We are creatures meant to learn and adapt and grow. If there were no lessons there would be no growth and everyone would be stuck in an immature state. There wouldn't be technology because we didn't learn what didn't work in order to create what does. So in essence, we are where we are because we are supposed to be. We are here because we are supposed to learn something and pass it on or create a cure, or invent something worthwhile, or just lend a hand. We all have purpose! We must stop over thinking it and just began doing it. We can't get bogged down in the should I shouldn't I scenarios ....we just have to wake up with intentions and take steps, move forward, just be, do and have. Be Blessed!

Progression Is A Forward Motion....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Maybe at some point or even a lot of points we have said, "Man I sure wish I had that!" Well, the only difference in us saying I wish and having it, is the work that comes with getting it. If we meander throughout our days just dreaming of things but never really putting forth the effort to achieve them, then apparently we didn't want it that bad. There is a lot of satisfaction in just knowing that you attempted something. Even if you don't always bat a thousand, there is comfort in the attempt. Progression is: A movement or development toward a destination or a more advanced state, esp. gradually or in stages.

Seize the Day!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Carpe Diem! Seize the day. Today we are alive. Today we are breathing in and breathing out. Today is the day to take risks, to wring out every possible moment of life, of existence. Yesterday is a group of "what could have been and what should have been's. But today is here, right now, waiting to be experienced. Waiting to do something extraordinary. Don't let today pass us by. Tomorrow may never come and today will have been wasted. Do something today that we have been longing to do. Take the chance we have been putting off. We may never get the opportunity to make it happen. Seize the day! Be Blessed!

Failure Doesn't Have To Be The End....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I have learned that no matter how big I fail at something my mind refuses to give up! How weird is that! I want to give up, I tell myself I will never try again. I rant and rave about the injustice of so many failures, but now, that only last hours and I am contemplating my next move. Yes, I suppose it is a flaw that was built in early on. But for whatever reason I can't lose hope. Which brings me to this realization this morning. I kinda knew it all along but was trying to discard it. God has placed in me a huge heaping of hope. Of belief that anything is possible. I believe that he did that so I can continue to uplift those around me and assure them that with God anything is possible. Am I tired of failing? Well yes, but what is the alternative? Mediocrity? I would rather fail at something and move on then to sit and stew about should I, shouldn't I and never get anything accomplished. At least with failure you learn things, like why did I do that or I could have done that better or oh maybe I am just learning to recover from failure faster. I just hope and pray that with every failure, I learn the lesson that went along with it so I won't repeat it again. Failure does not mean the end of everything, it is just new beginnings with new opportunities. If Abraham Lincoln would have quit the fight for emancipation, where would we be? If Thomas Edison had quit we would not have the light bulb and might still be in the dark. So, if you have failed in the past and wondered should I even try again, well the answer is simple, what else is there to do? I hope this helps someone today. Be Blessed!

When Letting Go Seems So Hard...
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Okay, so "letting go" is not the easiest thing in the world to do. Why does it seem so hard sometimes to just let go...to trust that everything will work out? We seem to be creatures of control, believing that somehow if we are in control that things will magically work out better. However, we have been proven wrong over and over again. The Bible tells us in Matthew 10:39, " He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it". I take this to literally mean turn my life over to God. Lose it to him and he will work everything out. Romans 8:28 tells us, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." So if we will trust God and turn our lives over to him, he will work everything to our good. It's so simple but so hard. My prayer today is this: Dear Heavenly, wonderful Father, help me to surrender to you my life. Help me to recognize that you wish to take my life and work it to my good. Please Father, help me to let it all go unto you, trust, and allow the peace that only you can give into my life. Thank you! Be Blessed!

Leading By Example, Not Just Words....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Being a leader or a role model means leading by example. We can't teach or show someone something that we ourselves are not doing. Most people do not hear what we are saying but they are certainly seeing what we are doing. It's important that we live by example. To our children, to our friends, co-workers and even our lay members. There are teaching moments when just what we are doing tells a lot about ourselves. Sometimes we think we are misunderstood but the reality is we are more understood than we know and what we are showing people are our true selves. So with that being said, sometimes we have to step back and ask ourselves some questions before we try to tell others what they should be doing. Such as: 1. What are my motives? 2. Am I being led by emotions? 3. What is the outcome I am wanting/expecting? If the answer to these questions revolve around me than maybe it's time to search within to see what is missing that I feel the need to project onto others. When we lead by example the need for words are much less than we think. Love can lead where words cannot. Maybe it's time to stop talking and start doing.....leading with love by example. Be Blessed!

It's Time To Fly!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! We are sitting on the runway and have been for some time. We have been cleared for take off but we can't get the courage to push the throttle forward. What happens if I can't get off the ground? What happens if I fail? What happens if when I get to my destination it wasn't what I thought? The questions and the fear are the only things holding us back. We have been given opportunity after opportunity to fly but we sit there waiting.... others have taken their chance and are moving around us to take flight. Consider that everything thing has been checked, we have been given everything we need to succeed, all we have to do is take that first step and amazing things can flood our lives. What are we waiting for today? What is it that is keeping us grounded? It's time to take our place in the sky and fly. Be Blessed!

Integrity Is Our Inner Compass!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! "Integrity is the inner compass by which we are guided throughout our life". tr When we can remain true to our inner compass we can reach all manner of heights in our lives. When we can navigate with steadfastness, then we can achieve everything that we want and need. No amount of wealth or fame should replace our integrity for without integrity we lose our compass and will turn about in circles never really knowing which direction we should be pointed. To know without a doubt our path, is to point our integrity due north and proceed with character and humility. Be Blessed!

We Can Be Free!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Galatians 5:1 says, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let ourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." It is hard to let go of hurt. It is hard to forgive when you have been wronged. It is hard to move forward when something traumatic happened in your life and seems to continually pull on you. But! Christ died that we might be free! He does not want us to be in slavery to the things that have happened to us. Today he wants to make us free from our past. Today he wants to help us forgive those who hurt us once and for all. He wants us to let it go completely so that we might live free. So that his dying was not in vain. Dear Lord, please help us to break those chains that bind us from our past. Chains that steal our joy and victory. Help us to recognize that it is Satan who would like to keep us bound so that we cannot have not have the freedom you promised. We speak love into those hidden places that still hurt and we ask that your light of forgiveness come and take it all away forever! In Jesus name! Amen! Be Blessed!

Departures....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Everyone arrives at their destination at different times. The timing depends on several factors: where did we depart from, what time did we leave, what mode of travel did we use and so on. We must understand that most of the time we cannot control delays in our schedules or unforeseen events. This is also true when we are called out of this world. Only God knows the time that we are to depart. That's why we are encouraged to live life today, this moment, with everything we have. It's so important not to let opportunities slip by us. That chance to say I love you before leaving home. That chance to spend a moment just talking to someone or asking someone to lunch that you haven't seen in a while. I believe we are prompted to do things that allow us to say goodbye and we may not be aware of it until it is over. I was given a chance to take my Aunt Sue out to lunch and spend a fun day with her a week before she was gone. We never know when we or someone we love may have reach their destination until it's too late. Take a moment today to connect with loved ones, with friends and family. Be Blessed!

The Ultimate Love Challenge!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Today is Valentine's day and with it comes the Ultimate Love Challenge. How many of us today can determine in our hearts to practice the love scripture in the Bible, I Corinthians 13:4-8. When we become love like God describes love then it changes everything about us, around us and in us! Changing anything in our lives begins with love... period. Be Blessed!
