Just A Taste Will Do!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God knows what we need. It looks like we are getting a taste of spring. I believe this is so we won't lose heart and will have the assurance that it is coming. It may not be today or tomorrow or even in a month...but if we hold out, it will come. Life is like that in general. There is a saying that I heard when I moved to Michigan. "If you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes, it will change". I thought people were joking but for the most part it is right on. If we don't like what is happening in our lives, we can do the same thing. Wait and it will change. When we turn to God with whatever that is and then wait, it will change.

We get a taste of heartache, so we can celebrate and appreciate the good moments of our lives. We get a taste of sickness, so we can celebrate and appreciate wellness. We get a taste of financial hardship, so we can celebrate and appreciate when the finances are in good shape. Sometimes we get a taste of something to see if we like it. Otherwise how would we know. Think on the little taste of good things that we get from time to time during the day. A smile, a hug, a kiss, a look....just a taste to carry us through.
