When Commitment Is Not Enough!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is commitment, but in the course of that commitment there has to be growth. It has to evolve, move, progress. "When Commitment Is Not Enough!" These words popped into my head this morning and I went searching for what they meant. Commitment is a good thing but when that commitment does not evolve as we evolve or grow as we grow in Christ or in our relationships, then it becomes stale. Just as a business plan must evolve as the business grows so should our commitment to God, family, spouses, children and friends. If we try to operate under our old commitment in our new growth phase we will become frustrated, unfulfilled and likely have several setbacks. Sometimes it's imperative that we shake the dust off the old commitment, reevaluate where we are and write a new commitment for ourselves, for our walk with God and our relationships. By doing this we are progressing! We are growing! We are evolving into who we need to be! It's time to re-write our commitments! Be Blessed!

-- And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among all God's set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of soul).

Acts 20: 32
