Wait Upon The Lord!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I was reminded this morning of the story of Jacob and Esau. Jacob was passionate about things! He was so intent on getting ahead in life that instead of waiting to see what blessing God might have had for him when the time was right; he decided to take what he wanted! He tricked Isaac his father into believing he was Esau in order to steal Esau's inheritance. Because Jacob did not wait for God's timing he had to suffer a few years. He was on the run from his Brother, estranged from his family.... Even though it is so hard for some of us(meaning me) to wait on God's timing; it really does benefit us to work on where we are and wait. He will not let us miss our opportunity to be used of him. He sees our hearts and just needs to work a few more things into us before we get our moment. Dear Lord, I pray that you would strengthen us in our waiting period. Give us not only the patience to see it through but the peace to accept where we are and what you are doing now! In Jesus name! Amen! Be Blessed!
