Good Morning Christian Peeps! I love the last refrain of this poem.... "But who shall dare to measure loss and gain in this wise? Defeat may be victory in disguise; the lowest ebb the turn of the tide." We never know when our loss may be a gain of some kind. Whether it may bring about restoration of our soul, an insight into who we are, or just a reinventing of self. We never know that at our lowest point, may be when a revelation may come. When we can put aside what we think we knew and capture what is. Who is to say that what we perceive as defeat might not be the very pinnacle of success! Be Blessed!
Loss and Gain
WHEN I compare
What I have lost with what I have gained,
What I have missed with what attained,
Little room do I find for pride.
I am aware
How many days have been idly spent;
How like an arrow the good intent
Has fallen short or been turned aside.
But who shall dare
To measure loss and gain in this wise?
Defeat may be victory in disguise;
The lowest ebb is the turn of the tide.

Be Encouraged!
Good Afternoon Christian Peeps! I spoke with a new friend today and after talking a while about the Lord and different things, I left, and as I was walking to my car, the Holy Spirit spoke and said "Be Encouraged". I wanted to share that although sometimes we feel that God will not intervene for us; we are encouraged because his word says: "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." So be encouraged today that God has heard our prayers, He sees our needs, and just as He clothes the lilies everyday.... He is taking care of us. It may not come when we want it to but it will come! Be Encouraged and Be Blessed!

Keep Your Fork, The Best Is Yet To Come!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! From a story I read today.... ‘My grandmother once told me this story, and from that time on I have always tried to pass along. Its a message to those I love and those who are in need of encouragement. In all my years of attending socials and dinners, I always remember that when the dishes of the main course were being cleared, someone would inevitably lean over and say, ‘Keep your fork.’ It was my favorite part because I knew that something better was coming…like velvety chocolate cake or deep-dish apple pie. Something wonderful, and with substance!’ So when life gets you down and you feel like you have no clue about where to go or what to do....just remember these words.... "Keep your fork ..the best is yet to come.’ We may not always understand our life's journey. It may not make sense at the time....but by holding onto God's unchanging hand, we can know with assurance that even though right now things seem dim.....Keep Your Fork, The Best Is Yet To Come! Be Blessed!

He Never Changes!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! In a world of uncertainty, there is one thing we can always count on. "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever." Another scripture says, "I Change Not!" So when we feel things are just so out of control, remember that Jesus hasn't change and his promises are still true. He is always there, all we have to do is call out to him. Say his name. Turn it all over to the one that never changes, that is always a constant, that we can always depend on. Be Blessed!

Where Is Our Faith?
Good Morning Christian Peeps! In Luke the 8th chapter, we see how when a storm blew up for the disciples....they went to Jesus; He simply stood, rebuked the wind and the storm subsided. Then he said "Where is your faith?" Sometimes we forget that it is as simple as saying God help me! Just having faith the size of a mustard seed and calling out to Him! We try to deal with it ourselves...maybe we feel it might be too insignificant for God...but he tells us that he knows the the number of hairs on our head. So today when the storms are raging and you don't know what to do, just "muster" up some faith and call on Him! Be Blessed!
He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. 25 “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. --

Endings Are Only New Beginnings!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! On this Good Friday, it is important that we acknowledge a couple of things. One is that Jesus endured everything he did exclusively for us. Two, he showed what true love really is and three, that endings are usually just new beginnings. When Jesus bowed his head and said,"it is finished", that was when we truly began to live. Sometimes in our lives we grieve when things end....a job, a friendship, a relationship, loved ones passing, relocating and so many other examples....but without an ending there can't be a new beginning. New beginnings brings new hope, excitement and revelation. On this day of new beginnings, take the time to reflect on what Jesus did for us back then and the new beginning he gives us today! Be Blessed!

What Is The BluePrint For The Unhappy Parts Of Our Lives?
Good Morning Christian Peeps! What makes us happy? What are our core beliefs? What is that one thing we tell ourselves everyday? What is our blueprint for how we live? Maybe our blueprint is skewed. Maybe somewhere along the way we believed something had to be a certain way and when it wasn't we became unhappy. What are our belief systems doing to our lives. How are they shaping us? One particular blueprint I had that was allowing for unhappiness was my belief of what a relationship should be like. Because I didn't have an example to follow, I believed that all relationships were like a fairytale. "You got married, your husband always loved you and treated you like a princess, gave you everything you wanted....life was grand!" That is an example of an unreal expectation and although deep down I knew it wasn't supposed to be that way... I still expected it; thereby putting unreal expectations on my husband and our marriage. This was my example. But when we look at the unhappy parts of our lives....what blueprint are we measuring them by...is it the real deal or what we perceive them to be? When we can get to the root of our blueprint we can find out why there are parts of our lives that are continuously unhappy. Let our prayer be today, "Dear Lord, help me to be able to decipher the blueprint of that part of my life that is unhappy. Let me see any unreal expectations and help me to change." Be Blessed!

We Get What We Need, When We Need It!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Mother to son: "Remember how I gave you your ticket right before you got on the bus. Well God gives us what we need right when we need it too". If we could simply understand that when we are in need of something God supplies it....we would do away with worry and learn to lean on Him more. We are only given what we need when we need it, otherwise think of how much waste there might be or things forgotten or misused. We only need a map when we are traveling. We only need food when we are hungry. We only need a car when we are trying to get somewhere. Each day we should live with a knowing that whatever we have need of today, God will supply. The Bible says he never leaves us nor forsakes us. He never fails. Today, this moment we accept whatever we need right now, and we don't worry about 15 minutes from now. It has already been taken care of. Be Blessed!

Clearer Focus And Better Results!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! What if we could bring our lives into focus more? What if the lens we are looking through could be made clearer. We have all had that little voice or nudge inside of us to do or not to do something. And if we didn't listen, realized we could have avoided that certain something if only we would have payed more attention. With our lives so fast paced, it is hard to listen with our hearts. We find ourselves making decisions everyday based on what our minds are telling us. But what if we took the few minutes it would take to hear what that little voice is telling us or warning us about? What if instead of feeling like we need to make a decision today or answer someone immediately, we stopped, and listened; prayed and asked God to direct us in any given situation. God's desire for us is that we would heed his direction. Everyday he gives us directional signs as to where to go and what to say....but most of the time we are too busy to pay attention. Let our desire be to slow down and really hear what God wants us to know. Really see his direction for our lives. Really know what our purpose is rather than guessing. Be Blessed!
