Good Morning Christian Peeps! God Is So Good! A question to consider today. How many times have we traded "lifetime blessings" for "short term appetites"? We have a human nature that is geared for instant gratification. Just like children a lot of times we want it now. But if we read the scripture below, the Bible tells us to be patient, wait, like the farmer does for the precious fruit of the earth. He waits until it receives the early and latter rain. If we were to harvest it before it had rain, likely it would not have grown to it's full potential. In essence we are robbing ourselves of the full victory and full harvest. We are so impatient that we will take what little we can squeeze out of the small crop instead of waiting until it has come to maturity. God wants us to be patient, he is working an annointing and a calling in us that takes time to manifest it's fullness. He has that special job for us or that special blessing but he wants it to be right. And in order for it to be right it takes time and nurturing. Wait upon the Lord today and see the fullness of his glory in what he is doing in our lives. When we wait, it changes our attitude. Not only are we more appreciative when we get it but we are more thankful. When we remain faithful and patient, nothing or no one can steal our reward from us! Be Blessed In Patience!
Jam 5:7
Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.
