Blessed Is The Man That Endureth Temptation!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We all go through temptation in our lives. Temptation is: the state of being tempted especially to evil. The only good thing about going through the temptation or trials is that you can come out on the other side victorious. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, The Bible says that God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. In James 1:12, it says Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall recieve the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. So even though we wonder if we will make it through the Bible says that it is possible and that the Lord will help us. He is faithful!

Nothing Can Seperate Us From God's Love!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "Nothing Can Seperate Us From The Love Of God"! There is nothing that can seperate us from his love. This is probably one of the most powerful scriptures there are in the Bible. If we can only grasp this today....how amazing! We may feel that we have done too many things wrong to deserve God's love, but it assures us right here in the Bible that no matter how many times we may have slipped and fell in our walk with him, no matter how many times we may have done something wrong....there is nothing not even death, things present nor things to come that can seperate us from his love. He loves us unconditionally! Satan desires to convince us that we don't deserve God's love but that's only because he wants us to feel so low that we turn and walk away from God. Be nestled in God's love today and be confident that no matter what we may think of ourselves, God Loves Us!

Let Go And Let God Hold You!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I think the sun is trying to say Hello this morning! I don't know about you but sometimes life gets so overwhelming that I would like to bury my head in the sand and not come out for days. However, we all know that burying your head in the sand doesn't help anything. The problems do not go away, they are just delayed. I find that if I will just take a moment and say a prayer to God, that he will release me from those feelings and give me the strength to keep going. I'm not sure why I try to do things on my own when I really do have someone who loves me and wants to help me. All I have to do is ask. I guess it comes back to wanting to always be in control. The moment that we realize that we do not have control and God does and we relinquish our hold is the moment we began to break through and see the blessings that he has in store for us. I have witnessed this to be true. In Deuteronomy 33:27, the Bible says that: "the eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you...."

Let the Lord hold you up today, give him the control, and watch how he moves for you!

God Is Our Compass!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God Is Good! Today is the day for staying our course. We all have a compass within us that gives us our direction. We have a true directional system built within. When we begin stray from the course, a feeling prompts us that something is not right, that something is the Holy Spirit guiding us back to our path. I like to think of my true path as being pointed North, and on days when my boat begins to wander in the wrong direction I have to turn it back around to point North. It's not always easy, but it is rewarding. This is a big world we live in and it's easy to lose our way...but we have a compass there to help us get back on course. May the Lord be your compass today and lead you back to your true path!

Be Renewed In Christ!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I found this scripture while scrolling this morning and thought it very appropriate. I got up this morning determined to work out....my body just doesn't feel right.... Of course it screamed with rebellion but I made it through. But the aches and pains of just trying to work out was amazing...which made this scripture all the more true. "Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. I love that! Yes the inward man feels strong and healthy but the outward man is another thing. How wonderful that like exercise when we go to the Lord in prayer daily we can be renewed! Whatever happened yesterday is over and today is brand new. Like the rain, each day we are washed and new. Therefore do not lose heart! We are renewed in Christ Jesus....

Speak To Your Mountain!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Did anyone see the sunset last night? It was amazing! God is amazing! Just as the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, just as sure as it will rise and set again and again so is the faithfulness of God. Through Christ we can move mountains. What is your mountain today? The Bible says "That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doublt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. What a wonderful thing to think on today. We all have mountains, be it jobs, finances, people, sickness, depression, whatever it may be we deal with these mountains. But God is saying if you will just believe and not doubt, you can speak to the mountain and it will be cast into the sea. Speak to your mountain today and believe that it will be gone and it will. You can live a more joyous life....it's time to take back your joy! Don't let the mountains stand in the way of your joy!

With Good We Can Triumph Over Evil!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The Lord is Our God! Let us begin our day with a praise to Him. For when we lift up our voices in praise to him we open the doors and windows of heaven and allow God to begin to pour out his blessings. For every good we accomplish today is a score for the good team. The more good we push into this world the more evil we push out. Where God is the Devil cannot exist. When we all pull together and began to love more, pray more, do good for others more, speak up about God more, we tip the scales against Evil. That why Satan tries so hard to put you in a bad mood, or anger you against someone or cause strife between you and your spouse. If he can get evil abounding then we lose sight of God and his grace, mercy and love. I challenge all of us today and everyday to walk in his love.....reach out and see just how much positive energy we can create for God and watch the world and people around us change. Good does triump over Evil but we have to create more good.....quit focusing on the bad and change our minds and attitude toward the good. If we were in a war (and we are) we would do anything we could to win..right? I'm telling you that we can and are winning this war....and the secret is to create more good and to bring God to the forefront where he is supposed to be in our lives and in our world. Too long we have sat back and let Evil takes it's course but by the power of Jesus in all of us we can take it back! We can save our children, our education, our churches, our morals....etc. May the Grace of God abound in you and throughout you today! Be Blessed.

God Says You Are Awesome!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! You are special this morning! You are Loved! You are unique in every way. Sometimes we find ourselves getting down and thinking that we aren't good enough or smart enough or pretty enough or strong enough. But if you stop to consider that God made us in his own image, we should start to rejoice that all of the failures we think we have are just the Devil wanting to cause us to "think" these things about ourselves! Who measures strength? Who measures intellegence? Who determines who is "good enough"? What makes one prettier than another? We tend to get caught up in what this world "might" think of us rather than what God knows about us. The Bible says: What a man thinks in his heart, so is he..... We can turn the tables today by thinking "We are Strong!" We are Good Enough! We are Smart Enough! We are Pretty Enough! We Are What God Says We Are!
Be encouraged today! God thinks You Are Awesome and So Do I!

God's Love Is Unfailing!

Good Morning My Wonderful Christian Peeps! Today is so wonderful! We are alive! God's Love is unfailing! The Bible tells us so. The opposite of Unfailing is everlasting! God's love is everlasting. In Psalms 33:4-5 and 33:18-19....It tells us the word of the Lord holds true, and everything he does is worthy of our trust. He loves whatever is just and good, and his unfailing love fills the earth. Verse 18-19 says, but the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine. What a wonderful Savior we have this morning. May God's unfailing love wrap you up this morning. I pray that you will feel his love surround you as you go about your day. Blessings!

Belief Is Temporary, Faith Is Continual!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good! We know that Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I began to question how you could hold onto to your faith longer and here is what I believe God showed me. Belief in something can be temporary. I can believe that tomorrow the weather could be in the 90's, but when tomorrow comes and it doesn't happen then I may no longer have that belief. Faith is continual! Even though the weather did not change and it didn't get into the 90's....I can still be looking for it the next day and the next day. Choosing to continue to believe. We know that God's time frame is not ours...that he works in the spiritual realm, yet we limit him by thinking that our prayers should be answered in our time. Sometimes we give up on believing before the time is right for him to answer our prayers. Do we have staying power today. Can we walk in faith each day even when we don't see anything taking place....can we truly trust that God knows all things and is working it out? I challenge you today to concentrate on the now, and let God bring the miracle. Trust that whatever is happening in your life today that it's supposed too....that if it's bad, that God will bring the good out of it.....and he can. If we will only trust that he knows what is and what needs to be we can truly walk in faith continually. Blessings are yours!

Our Hope Is In The Lord!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Another wonderful day....a little cool but what else is new. I wanted to share this beautiful scripture with you this morning for surely our Hope is in the Lord!! He is watching over us and he is ready to deliver us from death, from famine....He is our help and our shield. Rest in him this morning, know that you are loved and safe. For he is our Hope. Twice it mentions God's unfailing love. We are given that this morning.....

"Pull The Boat Back To Shore!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When negative things enter the mind....."Pull The Boat Back To Shore" ....(Bro. Potts) I love this analogy because it helps me remember that when I began to think about things that cause me to be negative or feel bad....all I have to do is remember to pull my mind back, realize where it's headed and change my thought pattern....this has really helped me alot...it's just taking control of where your thoughts are headed. Sometimes for me...it sneaks up on me before I know it....but because I have been practicing pulling them back to good things....I am able to recognize when it begans to happen much more so than I did before.
The Bible talks about in the scripture below that we should think on the good things; things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, good report, virtue, praise.....basically all the good you can think of, think about it regularly! I just want to encourage you today. We are more often attacked through our thinking than in any other way.....and what's so great about that is we can control it. So Think on the Good things today,be blessed and practice Pulling Your Boat Back To Shore!

The Peace Speaker!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "I know the Peace Speaker, I know him by name"......wonderful words to a beautiful song. Today I know the peace speaker. His name is Jesus and he is the one who can by speaking cause the storms to subside and peace to reign supreme! He did it for the disciples, when the storm blew up and they were afraid, he simply stepped out and spoke to the storm and said "Peace Be Still", and immediately all was quiet. That's the kind of powerful God we serve today! When the turmoil is swirling today, just ask the Lord to speak peace into and he will......

Dear Jesus, with all that is going on around us today, we come before you knowing that you are the Peace Speaker. Speak peace into our situation today and cause quiet and calm to reign supreme. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Forgiveness Is The Key To An Abundant Life!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! It's supposed to be 72 degrees today....Thank God! Yesterday is gone, today is new and tomorrow looks promising! When we hang onto our past, we short ourselves the ability to excel today and tomorrow. We take away chances of happiness by dwelling on those things that once affected us. Forgiveness is the key to living a more abundant life. Whatever happened in the past, forgive yourself, forgive the situation, forgive someone who may have contributed to it and truly let it go. You will feel burdens lift and joy take the place of unforgiveness....the reason I know is that I had to forgive a few things in my past in order to gain happines. May the peace of God come over you today and may his love guide you to forgiveness and a more abundant and joyful life.

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a great day the Lord has made, I will choose to praise him and be glad in it. Consider, "They Confessed and They Possessed! " The story of Joshua and Caleb in the Bible is very well known. Out of the twelve spies sent to spy out the land only two related a positive confession. The other ten related a negative one. We know that because of Joshua and Caleb's faith and positive confession they were able to possess the land. What is your confession today? The Bible says for as a man thinketh, so is he. So our thoughts determine our outcomes. I challenge you today to change your thoughts. Think on the good things and you will recieve good things.

Give And It Shall Be Given!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! (Just so you know when I am writing that I am saying it in my head like "Good Morning Vietnam! (Robin William)....it makes me smile. This morning I want to give you something to think about. My views are mine and are in no way considered right...just mine. Anyway, I am reading a book called "Divine Strategies For Success" . It's a good read. I wanted to share with you something that came through my spirit early this morning.

In order to have friends, we must first show ourselves friendly.... In order to gain love we must first give it away. So it stands to reason that in order to gain prosperity we must first give it away.....by that I mean that when you give someone love you open your heart to receiving love back. When you show yourself friendly, you open your heart to receiving a friend. When we tithe to God we open ourselves up for receiving his blessings.... and when we give to others we open ourselves to receive back in kind.

As a farmer if you do not sow what you want, you will not reap what you want. You cannot sow corn and get beans..... and vice versa. I guess what I am trying to say is that if you want to be blessed in life you must follow these principles laid out in God's word. And this doesn't just come from God's word....it is simply the way it has always been, sometimes we just forget.

Today I want to challenge you to be a friend to someone, Open your heart to someone, Give to God and your church and give to others whether it may be clothes you can no longer wear or gas if someone needs it or maybe just a ride to school or work. It may just be a phone call or a kind word... Only when we give can we recieve.

Luke 6:38 "Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Attitude of Gratitude!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! This morning I am grateful for Hot Water! There are so many people around the world that do not have hot running water! How wonderful it is to be able to have hot running water. What are you thankful for this morning.... I want to have a heart that is filled with Gratitude! Having Gratitude brings us to a place of loving, a place of forgiveness. Without Gratitude and Forgiveness it is hard to shake off the hurtful things in our past and move forward to fullfil what God has called us to do. Gratitude is defined as: A state of being Thankful. The Bible tells us to be Thankful and let the peace of God rule in our hearts. Think of as many things you are thankful and grateful for this morning and every morning and watch the great changes take place in your life. With an Attitude of Gratitude we can overcome!

A New Creature in Christ!

Good Afternoon Christian Peeps! The rain refreshes and makes all things new. Jesus makes us new. When we become believers in him, he makes us new creatures and the old things are passed away, all things become new. Let go of those things in your past because God has and he has washed them all under the blood, never more to be remembered. Today and every day hence is a new day in Christ. Walk in that newness and be restored and refreshed. When Satan tries to remind you of the old things, just quote God's word to him and he has to flee.

Positive Words Affect The Spirit, Body and Soul!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a glorious day it is today! Today I want you to be mindful of what you say, because the Bible says in Proverbs 16:24 "Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones." What we say can affect not only those around us but our very spirit, body and soul! We can actually make ourselves feel sick, sad, mad by just the words that are coming out of our mouth. Begin to speak positive today and watch the change that begins to take place. May the Lord Bless you with Positive words to say today!

When God Does It, It's Right!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! This morning is the morning when you recieve something good! The Bible tells us that "we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, them who are called according to (his) purpose. That lets me know that if I will trust in him everything will work out the way it is meant to.....but along with that trust (which is the process by which faith happens) is the walking out of it. If you've ever heard the story of the Zin Master, you will see that, that is how God works.....something may happen to us that looks bad at the moment but in a few weeks could actually work to our good. We have all seen it happen.....someone loses a job and it looks like it is the darkest time....then in a few weeks....they get an even better job with more pay, doing exactly what they love without the added stress...I guess what I am trying to say is sometimes what looks like a curse may end of being the best blessing ever! So we must trust that God has our best interest at heart....he knows what we need when we need it. So today really practice trusting and saying those wonderful prayers and thinking those positive thoughts.... When God does it, it is right!

May God reveal his blessings to you today!!!

The Power Of Prayer!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Once again it is warm outside which warms my heart inside. When my Mom passed she left behind some wonderful books that I have begun to read. One that I am reading right now is called "The Power Of A Praying Wife". This is a wonderful book for both Husband and Wife. There are so many wonderful prayers that we can send up from this book. It's amazing what Prayer will do when we let it work. It can change the way we think when we don't even realize that we are changing. That's the power of Prayer! Proverbs is a great book for instructing women on how to be good wives and respectful women. I go back and read it often. Today, I want to share a scripture with you that I think sums up our marriage foundations and how we can make them strong.....

Proverbs 24:3,4 says: Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.


Pray for wisdom, understanding and knowledge and your marriage can be filled with precious and pleasant riches.

Good Afternoon Christian Peeps! God took it all upon him. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniguities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Believe God today for whatever you need because he has already taken those things upon him. He has already paid the price.
