Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sorry about yesterday..I waited too late at the Hotel and then my computer was going down.
God is so wonderful! Sometimes we may feel as if his promises in our lives may never be revealed. But there is a reason why it may be taking so long. God works on us in so many different ways in order to get us ready for what he needs us to do. The jobs that we are working in are exactly where he wants us for the time being in order to recieve the type of instruction that we will need for later on. He may be working on our character and until we get it right we may not be ready for the next step. Take for example, Joseph. He was in Egypt a long time and went through many changes in his life. Some good, some not so good. I'm sure after he was put into the dungeon he may wondered what in the world could God be thinking letting him be put down there. I'm sure there were times when he felt as if God had forgotten about him. But at the end of the story it all makes sense...God had a special plan and it could only be carried out his way. If Joseph had been released early, God's plan would not have been ready to be fullfilled. Because of what Joseph went through he was well equipped to accomplish the things God needed him to do. Be encouraged today and have faith that whatever God is doing in our lives may take longer than we want....but God has a master plan and his plans always turn out just right.
Be Blessed!
And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD [is] a God of judgment: blessed [are] all they that wait for him. Isa 30:18
Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a beautiful morning! I will choose this day to be happy! I will wake up in the morning with laughter in my spirit. I will not let the Devil steal even a moment of my joy! I will laugh for no reason. I will feel blessed even when things look bleak. I will change the way I view my future. God is in my future and happiness surrounds my life. Be Happy and Be Blessed!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he" When we think positive we are positive, when we think negative, we are negative. By staying positive we can, not only improve our lives, but our health and our outlook. We can also influence others to began to be more positive. It does rub off on others... remember the smile test... you smile at everyone you meet and eventually people began to smile back....Let's spread the positive feelings all around us today.....let's uplift those around us! Smile, let God's light shine through us! Be Blessed in positivity!
"The only difference in being negative and being positive is the emotions and actions that follow."
Pro 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so [is] he:
Good Morning Christian Peeps! When it rains I always pause and reflect on the washing away of all the dirt and things of the last few days. Every now and again it is a good thing to experience the rain of the Holy Spirit to wash away the cobwebs and dirt of days gone by. Once in a while, I feel the need to cry.....I know, women cry a lot anyway....but for us it's what washes all the old away and makes us new again to start another day. It's a cleansing thing most of the time. We need the cleansing to give us a fresh feeling and a new step to take us where we need to go. Sometimes it's just a need to let something we have been holding onto go and start new. May you experience a cleansing rain today in your spirit. Be encouraged and be blessed!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! It's still August but it feels like late October....I like to think we are getting the best of both worlds...cool in the morning, warm during the day and gets a little cooler late at night. Some would say this is perfect weather.
Wherever you are, there you are... I heard this or read this somewhere and had to ponder on it awhile. Remember those maps they have in places that say You are Here? When we know where we are, we can then begin to find where we want to go just by studying the map. It's like that as well with our walk with God. When we know where we are in Christ then we can find out where we need to go. When we are traveling..we must first realize where we are at that moment...get our bearings...study the map, then we can clearly make out the roads that we need to follow to get where we are going. It's different in our walk with God because the map is not as easy sometimes to read....and the roads keep changing it seems because of choices that we make along the way. But by using the Bible as our road map, it becomes easier to decipher which way we need to go. If you are wondering where you are today and where you need to go...don't be discouraged, it's all right there in his book. Be Blessed on your travels!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! My soul is over whelmed this morning with God's spirit. It is like a flood that continues to pour over me. He is so wonderful and his blessings are so great that I feel as If I can't contain it all. The Bible speaks about hearkening (to give respectful attention to) or listening to the voice of the Lord our God and when we do there will be blessings that shall come upon us and overtake us. That sounds to me like blessings abound! When we become quiet in our spirit and listen to God, he begans to reveal wonderful things to us. These things began to open up new doors and new journeys in our lives. When we truly know what God wants we can obey and began to move in that direction, build on that foundation and enjoy the wonderful blessings of God. May we all hearken to his word today and be abundantly blessed!--
Deu 28:2
And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Good Morning Christian Peeps! God Is Love! The love of God reaches beyond barriers, he does not place any stipulations on love. There are no criteria for who or what can experience the love of God. One cannot earn God's Love, it is given freely. It doesn't matter one's status in life, the amount of wealth one possesses, one's looks or christian affiliation. Ephesians 2:14 says that He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition(between us). He has made us one...there are no walls between us, we are to love one another even as God loves us. When you think that no one loves you, remember God does. He loved us so much that he paid the ultimate price by dying on the cross. I know there are times when we feel so alone and we think no one cares...I have thought that myself...but we must understand, it's not true....The Love of God is always present. Let his love wash over you today. Be Blessed In Love!
1Jo 4:8
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Ephesians 2:14
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition [between us];
Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a great day! I love Psalms! We have probably had this scripture before, but I thought it worth mentioning again. I will lift up my eyes to the hills, where does our help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made Heaven and Earth. No matter what we face today....God is there in the midst, ready to help us and see us through. Look up today and ask his help and he will help you.... It was enough for me that the scripture said My help cometh from the Lord...but isn't it great that He added "who made Heaven and Earth"? It's like an extra qualifier...in case there be any doubt....He is more than able to supply your need...he made Heaven and Earth. So don't let there be any doubt that God can solve your problem. May the Lord be your Help today! Be Blessed!
Psa 121:1
I WILL lift up my eyes to the hills--
From whence comes my help?
Psalms121:2
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I was impressed this morning about foundations. Are we built on a solid foundation this morning (the Rock) or are we built on just the earth that can wash away. Where are we building our foundation? Is it in the word? I believe from birth I was destined to be used by God...but over time I tried to build my own houses without using God as my solid foundation and each time I thought that I finally gotten it built just like I wanted, something would happen and it would all crumble around me. Then there would be Jesus just waiting to see what I would do...calling to me...but I thought I knew what I was doing....I am headstrong... :) I would have another idea and began to build again...working hard to make this work this time.....and again it would all crumble leaving me once again staring at Jesus and he was still trying to get my attention. Needless to say I got tired of building on the earth where everything kept crumbling...now I am building on his foundation on the rock. It's taking longer because I have to stop often and listen to make sure I am putting the stones in the right place and positioning it where he wants it to go. My foundation already feels stronger and has taken a few hits and has stood strong. If your foundation tends to crumble, I encourage you to begin again and build on the solid rock. No matter how many times we have built before, we can always begin anew and he will be there to help us every step of the way. He wants us to be strong in him...he knows the troubles we will face and he wants our foundation to be strong so that we can stand. Dear Lord, help us today to begin anew in building our foundation in you and on your rock. Show us where to place our stones and how to get the right materials that will withstand the pressures of this life. Help us to understand that those tools come from prayer, reading your word, and meditating on your will. For your will we pray. Amen.
Be Abundantly Blessed Today!
Luk 6:48
He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock
Luk 6:49
But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great."
Prayer Request: There was a prayer request sent forth at church to remember a Lady and her son. Her Father is in the Hospital not doing well and her son is in the process of being charged with Murder....let's remember this family in our prayers.
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I feel like the beginning of this scripture this morning! Bless The Lord, O My Soul and All that is within me, Bless His Holy Name! In this scripture you not only get a feel for how David felt about the Lord but David lists the benefits for us: He forgives all our iniquities! He Heals our Diseases! He redeems our lives from Destruction! He crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies! He satisfies our mouths with good things so that our youth is renewed like the Eagles...I like that... The Lord wants to do these things for us...these are the benefits for loving him and walking in his spirit. When we begin to bless the Lord this morning we wil begin to feel the glory of the Lord surround us. When a praise goes forth...we open ourselves to thankfullness and the blessings of the Lord! Be Blessed in Praise today!
Psa 103:1
PSALM 103
A Psalm of David.
BLESS the LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Psa 103:2
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Psa 103:3
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Psa 103:4
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Psa 103:5
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so amazing! When we think about God's commandments for us we think a lot of times about the "Ten Commandants" that God gave to Moses. But I read in Mark that the most important commandments of all is to first of all acknowledge that the Lord our God is one Lord and then to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength....then the second one says: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no greater commandment than these. It was very important that we love our neighbor and that we love them like we love ourselves. Now most of us love ourselves a lot... :) and that's okay...but do we love our neighbor like we love ourselves? We finished a series on forgiveness last night at bible study and afterwards we wrote down things we needed to forgive: people, situations, ourselves and we went outside and threw it in a fire to symbolize that we were giving it to God and letting go of those things that we were still holding in our hearts. There were some confessions about certain situations and people that caused hurt but that now it was time to let it go and give it to God... There was an amazing feeling of love for each other around that fire.... We truly wanted, I believe for everyone to be able to let go so that the unforgiveness would not stand in the way of where God was leading us. My petition today is that we all reach out to one another and love, forgive, lift up and pray for each other. Love truly does conquer all! Be Blessed today with Love!
Mar 12:29
Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.
Mar 12:30
'And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.'[fn5] This is the first commandment.
Mar 12:31
"And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'[fn7] There is no other commandment greater than these."
Good Morning Christian Peeps! When you need or want to find God you can find him in the stillness. Sometimes we wonder why we don't have answers to problems or situations or why things are not going according to our plans.....Maybe it's because we haven't consulted our Heavenly Father as to what his plans are for us. Trust me that his plans turn out so much better than our own. He is the master planner! If you have ever gotten up early in the mornings and just sat and meditated on God, he is there.....If you have sat somewhere quiet in the evening he is there.... if you have taken a moment during a busy day to just get quiet....he is there. We might be surprised at what he will tell us if we get quiet enough to listen. Have you ever noticed our noisy our lives are? I love getting up early when everyone else is asleep...it's so quiet.... I challenge all of us today to find a few minutes and just be quiet....think about how thankful we are, how blessed we are....and I promise God will be there in the midst. He desires to talk with us and give us guidance if only we will listen. Be blessed and loved today!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a wonderful day! It feels like fall...I'm not sure if I am happy about that or sad...probably a little of both. A thought occurred to me today......it came from a heading I saw in a book....."Are you waiting on God, or is God waiting on you? Think about seesaws for a moment....it takes two people to make it work....one person pushes off and goes up in the air....and then the next person pushes off the ground to go up in the air...now if you have ever been on one....you know that part of the success of seesawing is that the other person has to relinquish control so that you can work your side.... Well...that's how I Imagine that our relationship can be with God.....He does his part and then's waits for us to do ours....He does the impossible and then we are to do the possible. He relinquishes control over some things in our life so that we can experience and see what we can accomplish....he teaches us how to do things and then gives us a chance to do them... If he did everything for us then we really wouldn't learn our capabilities and potential. It is important on our side that when it is God's turn, we relinquish control to him. That's probably the hardest part is the letting go of the control...but just like the seesaw...if we don't he can't work from his side and we won't get off the ground. We need to trust that when we relinquish control that we will indeed enjoy the moment. That whatever happens will be wonderful. If we feel stuck on the ground and things aren't happening the way we want...maybe we just need to relinquish control and let go so that God can take us where he wants us to go. Is it your turn or is it God's? Are you waiting on God, or is God waiting on you?
Be Blessed!
Some praise today.... As most of you know,Yesterday I sang at the Methodist church in South Haven....God really moved. Some of the people came up and told me how moved they were by the songs that God has given me. I am thankful for the doors that are swinging open and God's wonderful blessings. Continue to pray for his will in my life... Thank you!
Prayer Request:
Remember a friend that was diagnosed with cancer...she is going through treatment and needs our prayers.
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Another sunny day, a little chilly but beautiful! We are a blessed nation because of our relationship with God. The Bible says that Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. From the beginning of time this nation has been founded on Godly principles. There are those today who would take those blessings away. May we pray today that our blessings will continue and that a new restoration will come to our nation.
Be Blessed!
Psa 33:12
Blessed [is] the nation whose God [is] the LORD; [and] the people [whom] he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a wonderful morning. My bike ride was filled with God everywhere. You know just like the song I wrote "God Is There"... he really is all around us all day long. I can remember as a child wanting to please my Grandpa. I loved him so much that I wanted to be really good so he would like me in return... I never wanted to disappoint him... that hurt me way more than any spanking I ever got from Mom or Dad. I didn't realize at the time that he loved me whether I was good or bad. He wanted me to be good but he loved me no matter what. God's love for us is the same. Yes we all want to be good in his sight and we want to do everything that he wants us to do just right.....but the great part is....he loves us no matter what we do. He want's us to be good always, but even when we are not he still loves us. I feel like someone needs to hear this today...that no, your not perfect and you won't ever be until Jesus comes back...but he loves you just the same.. and his arms are still outstretched to you.... don't walk away just because you can't be perfect....realize that your ability to be good lies in Him. Your ability to overcome huge obstacles lies in Him. He is the one who made us after all....I think we often forget that. He is our original Father! Jesus, I pray for that someone today who is hurting that they will realize that you are speaking through me to them....that they will allow you to wrap your loving arms around them and bring them back into your fold. That you have the ability Father to cover them completely today. That your blood is what washes us clean and makes us whole again. In Jesus Name!Be Blessed
Good Morning Christian Peeps! To continue on Patience.....When we have patience we gain power. When we exercise patience we cannot be controlled by the Devil...because what he tries to do to us doesn't upset us....we know that anything he does is temporary. The Bible verse below says "let patience have it's perfect work, that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Having Patience helps us to become complete, because we can wait upon the perfect plan of God. Through our daily trials we can grow...just by being patient, trusting and waiting upon the Lord. In 1 Corinthians, the Bible says Love is Patient.... When we love someone we excercise patience. We are patient with our little ones as they learn to walk, talk and read....that same patience pays off in our walk with God.... He is patient with us when we fail over and over....because he knows eventually we will get it and it will have all been worth it. Let us exercise patience today, for God's plan for us is being carried out and when it had been completed in us it will be amazing! Be Blessed! Jam 1:4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God Is So Good! A question to consider today. How many times have we traded "lifetime blessings" for "short term appetites"? We have a human nature that is geared for instant gratification. Just like children a lot of times we want it now. But if we read the scripture below, the Bible tells us to be patient, wait, like the farmer does for the precious fruit of the earth. He waits until it receives the early and latter rain. If we were to harvest it before it had rain, likely it would not have grown to it's full potential. In essence we are robbing ourselves of the full victory and full harvest. We are so impatient that we will take what little we can squeeze out of the small crop instead of waiting until it has come to maturity. God wants us to be patient, he is working an annointing and a calling in us that takes time to manifest it's fullness. He has that special job for us or that special blessing but he wants it to be right. And in order for it to be right it takes time and nurturing. Wait upon the Lord today and see the fullness of his glory in what he is doing in our lives. When we wait, it changes our attitude. Not only are we more appreciative when we get it but we are more thankful. When we remain faithful and patient, nothing or no one can steal our reward from us! Be Blessed In Patience!
Jam 5:7
Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Today we walk in spirit and in truth. The spirit guides us and the truth sets us free. There are comments made often about how when certain people walk into the room you can literally feel God's spirit. My Grandmother is one of those people. She just has a special quality about her. The spirit takes us places and through us it can speak to people's hearts. What they see in us(the spirit of God) can start them on the road to discovery of God for themselves. When we know the truth and speak the truth it will not only make us free...but began a freedom process in the people we communicate with. In order to worship God, we must worship in spirit and in truth. We must come before him truthfully. May we feel God today and worship him in spirit and in truth and may the truth set us all free!
Be Blessed!
Jhn 4:24
God [is] Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
Jhn 8:32
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
