Every time we reach out to someone, we are giving them more of Christ! That is the true meaning of Christmas! More of Christ. When we lend a helping hand, when we take a moment to call someone we haven't talked to in a while, when we stop our frenzied going and smell the coffee and really connect with someone, we are being Christlike. Resolve Not To Make Resolutions!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! 2010 is on it's way! We are aware of New Year's resolutions but do we understand that we can make resolutions anytime. Resolution means the act or process of resolving something. Usually resolutions are made to change something that isn't working in our lives. To resolve to do better; ie: eat better, exercise, study harder, etc. New Year's resolutions are well known for not lasting. We make it and before the year has barely begun we break it. So why then do we make them? Aren't we just setting ourselves up for failure? Well, in order to resolve anything we must recognize the reason behind the resolve. Why do we feel that we need to make this resolution? Is it for real or is there an unhealthy emotion attached to it? What if we decide we want to make something better, do we even know how to get there? It's more than just saying we are going to to do it... it takes action steps! It takes a goal, a plan and steps to make it happen. So as we head to 2010, let's resolve to not make any resolutions but instead, get a goal, make a plan and take action steps to getting where we want to be in the coming year! With God all things are possible! But we must first do the possible and then He can do the impossible! Be Blessed!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Seeing is believing? It's easy to believe when we can see something or someone in front of us. But faith is what happens when we can't see something or someone and we still believe. A lot of times what we see is ultimately not real. Sometimes what we see can be deceiving. If we are not careful we will believe something that is not true. We must truly see something with more than just our eyes. We must recognize how it makes us feel physically, emotionally, and if our heart and our head line up. We must use the senses that God gave us to determine if something or someone is for real. Ask ourselves the question; how does this make me feel? Does this agree with my spirit? God is real today. He brings us all the things we need; healing, peace, love, joy, understanding, abundance....the list goes on and on. When you establish a true relationship with Him, He becomes real, and believable. We may not see Him with our eyes but we can feel Him with our hearts. Be Blessed!

Think Of Christ, Strive To Be Like Him!

Whatever we listen to, whatever we read, whatever we watch inevitably becomes a part of our life. It becomes the margin by which we measure ourselves and others. What are we bringing into our lives? Are we allowing the positive and beautiful things into our daily lives or are we watching, listening and participating in things we know can be detrimental to us? There is a children's song that goes like this....be careful little eyes what you see, be careful little ears what you hear, be careful little mouth what you say, and be careful little hands what you do. It's important that we study on what it is we are letting into our homes and our families. It's important to look at Christ and study to be more like Him. Our Weak Areas Just Need More Work!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When we are being shaken, we are being tested for weak areas of our lives. Once we find the area that is weak, we can then set about fortifying it. Most of the time, a fortress is attacked at it's weakest point. So don't get worried, if you feel you are being attacked in one particular area a lot, because now you know where you are weak and can spend time building that part up so that it is invincible. God wants to help us strengthen the areas that are weak. He let's us revisit them until we realize they are weak. Let's look at our weak areas with excitement. Let's build them stronger than ever! My Soul Cries Out, And He Answers!

There are moments when, whatever be the attitude of the body, the soul is on its knees. ~Victor Hugo My soul cries out and you(Oh God) deliver me. Although my flesh and spirit may be at war, you(My God) are there for me. When I feel the deepest despair, when I sink the lowest of the low, you (Dear Father) lift me up! Dear God, you are the ladder by which I climb out of despair, you are the cloth that wipes my tears away. You are the love that surrounds me night and day. Look Beyond The Illusion And Witness The Reality!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When Satan approached Eve in the Garden, he created an illusion of beautiful temptation. What she heard and what she saw looked real and felt real but was not reality. She bought into the smoke screen and believed that everything would be okay. Instead of taking the time to find out if what she was hearing and seeing was real; Instead of praying first to make sure, she went along with Satan and ate the apple. Because of this there were massive consequences that went well beyond her death. We are all tempted with illusions, things that look beautiful but when we taste them or touch them...the beauty turns into ugliness and the consequences are too much to bear. We have the opportunity to choose in every situation what we will do. But it is important to pray before we make the choice. Make sure we are seeing reality instead of an illusion. Make sure we have counted the cost of what we are about to do. God says, 'He will never leave nor forsake us." Take that to heart today. Don't Back Away From The Fire!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Remember this. When people choose to withdraw far from a fire, the fire continues to give warmth, but they grow cold. When people choose to withdraw far from light, the light continues to be bright in itself but they are in darkness. This is also the case when people withdraw from God. ~Augustine This is so true. When we become disheartened and feel that we can't go on, instead of praying to God for strength, we began to back away from Him. We quit the things that are good for us and begin again the things that are not good for us. Eventually we began to feel cold and the light slowly goes out. But the fire is still going and the light is still there! All we have to do is walk toward it, pray for strength, pray for renewal, pray for God's help and we will began to feel the warmth again. Hope will spring forth and the light will become bright again! God is our light and our salvation! Be Blessed!

In Our Weakness, We Are Made Strong!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! In weakness there is strength. Because we find ourselves weak, we immediately begin to search for strength. When we do, we recognize things about ourselves. One is, we cannot always make it on our own. We can only go so far and then we need help. Because of that we search for strength and realize that the ultimate strength comes from God. Our friends and family can be there and help us but when we get to a certain point, God has to step in. When my Mom was dying we could only care for her so much. We could administer her meds, but only God could go beyond that to her mind. Only God could give her the peace she needed to cross over to the other side. Only God could take her hand and guide her in death. Only God could give her the strength to leave her loved ones behind. There is a saying: "In our weakness, we are made strong." Recognize today that God is our strength! Run to him and be safe, be comforted, be loved! Be Blessed!

Don't Give Up! God Is Greater!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes it seems like it would be so easy to give in and give up. Stop fighting, stop believing, stop caring, and just be... and take what may come. But we all know that deep inside we are survivors, God made us that way. Deep inside is the core of who we are that keeps us getting up each day, and actually looking forward to seeing what today brings. Hoping beyond all odds that today is the day that we reach that goal. That today is the day we receive our break through. Well....today is that day! When you began to think different, feel different, and walk different nothing is ever the same. The scripture that comes to my mind is "Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world." The only way that we lose is that we give into to he that is in the world...otherwise, he knows he can't win. That is why he tries so hard to tempt us, to get us to give up. But what are the consequences if we give in....For every action, there is a reaction....in other words for every deed that we do...there will be a consequence good or bad. When we take each day one at a time and just make right decisions for today....it gets easier to make those right decisions. And in the end it does pay off. May we all realize who is greater! Let us take His hand today and make right decisions....hold on....we can make it!!! Be Blessed!

We May Be Weak, But He Is Strong!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "I am weak but thou art strong". Sometimes we may be weak in our bodies, or just feel weak in our spirit; but wherever the weakness, God is strong. He tells us so many times to lay our burdens on Him. When we find that we can't take another step or we just don't know which way to turn, we can just give it to God and He will take care of it. He will be strong when we are weak. He is the rock that we run to when we need safety. He fills us up with whatever we are lacking. He can fulfill our needs today. Walk With Me!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "Walk with me". These are the words I heard this morning. Walk with me....get to know me. Without knowing someone there really isn't a relationship. We can know them but not really know what they are all about. Unless we carry on an extensive conversation with someone, how will we know their likes and dislikes, their interests, their past and their future. Without dialogue we cannot expect to know the Lord. Without spending time with Him, we cannot know what He is all about. Without reading His word we cannot expect to know what He can do! Sometimes we want so much from Him, we pray to Him, we want Him to move for our situations but when was the last time we spent time with Him? When was the last time we were in His presence? When was the last time we gave our time to Him? That is a one-way relationship.....He wants it to go both ways. Let us walk with the Lord this morning. Try out a conversation with Him. We will be uplifted and it will make our day so much better. He wants to know us! Be Blessed!

I have offered wondered if there was a real difference between these two words. We use them interchangeably but one is being aware of the benefit and the other expressing how we feel for that benefit. So really they should be used together. Trust In The Lord!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Who do we trust today? Who are we putting our trust in? Are we trusting that "man" and technology will be there for us always? That we can depend on these two things to always come through for us? I think we know the answer to that. Sometimes we find it easier to seek help in familiar areas, but we must not forget that it was not man or technology that gave us life. Our creator formed us with his own hand. He breathed the breath of life into us. He gave us a perfect body. He gave us free will. Why then do we choose man made solutions over his? In my quest for health, one of the questions I ask in my prayers was... Why are we not seeing healing like we used to? And God's answer was... I can't heal them if they continue to choose to eat the wrong things, put terrible things into their bodies, live stressful lives because they cannot trust in me. I cannot heal them because they trust man's ways instead of mine. I cannot deliver them if they continue to go back to the things that they need deliverance from. I cannot give them peace if they continue to create drama and stress in their own lives. We have had the solution all the time. God says He will never leave us nor forsake us....So why don't we choose him? Why don't we choose the good things in life rather than the bad? We can start today to make better choices. We can start today to trust in God so he can change our lives for the better. He is the author and the finisher of our faith! Trust in Him! Be blessed!

Our God And Our Faith Last Forever!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good. Sometimes our faith is shaken to it's very core. Sometimes we do not understand why things have to be the way they are. "There is a time for everything and everything in it's time." Dwayne Dyer. We cannot know the things that are meant for good and we cannot know the things meant for bad. That is why we must trust that wherever we are today is where our choices have taken us or where we have been lead. That is why it is so important to trust. Trust God through the confusion. Trust God through the disappointments. Trust Him through the pain. For without pain there is no growth. Without pain, we cannot recognize the health. Without pain we do not appreciate our growth. Through pain we recognize the truth. Through pain our eyes can be opened. "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Psalms 30:5. That night might last a while but how great is our faith? When we can truly walk through a situation knowing and believing the outcome, that is when we win. That is when we know beyond a shadow of a doubt who our God is. That is when we know the test is only temporary but God and our faith endureth forever! Our Book Is Being Written!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Our lives are like a book, every day we turn a new page and wonder what mystery will unfold before us. We may have a schedule but every minute and every hour things can change. Wonderful exciting things can take us by surprise or tragedy can strike. Those are the things we cannot prepare for. But what stays the same is that when we give our day to God first thing every morning, He can lead us and guide us through whatever happens. In fiction books we know that the author can create whatever ending he or she wants. And most often the story has a warm happy ending. Our lives, our book can have a happy ending too. When we give our lives to Christ and walk with him everyday, we are walking not only in a new beginning but toward a wonderful ending. We don't have to be afraid of anything. Let us give today to God, Let us give our lives to God and walk in peace knowing that He is not only the "author and finisher of our faith" but He is the author of our lives! Be blessed!

The talents to support it, the will power to accomplish it...everything. But somewhere along the way we listened to what others said that we were and we tried to make it happen. It's the detour that took us completely away from what we know. The knowing is inside and when we stop what we are doing, evaluate what we have, see if everything matches, then and only then can we begin the action steps necessary to be what we were called to be. Casting All Your Cares On Him!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I Peter 5:7 says casting all your care on him; for he cares for you. Peter knew a lot about casting because by trade he was a fisherman. When casting, you are practically throwing out your line. So when Jesus said cast your cares on me... he means for us to throw them on Him. You can't possibly throw something and hold on to it at the same time. When you throw it you must let go. So in order for Jesus to take care of our situations we must throw them on him. Give them away completely and trust him to take care of them. The end of the verse says it all... for He cares for you! He cares so much for us today. He wants to take care of all our problems. Let Him! Be Blessed!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When one story ends another one begins. There is a continual story being told throughout the ages. Most often it involves; sacrifices that were made, loves that were lost, triumphs that were celebrated, and amazing feats that were accomplished. We are telling our story everyday. We are shaping and reshaping what our legacy will be when we are gone. We have the awesome opportunity to do things that our family members before us were not able to do. We can change things we didn't like and adopt the things that seem to stand the test of time. We can invent new things! We can set new heights! We can love deeper, show more kindness, pray more, laugh more, and create wonderful stories that will be past on forever. What is our story today? Reset Our Internal Compass!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I have often wondered what it would be like if we all had our own personal life coach, trainer, etc...to follow us around all day helping us cope with every situation. Well, actually we do. We have the Holy Spirit which when allowed to can direct our paths, lift us up, encourage us and show us how to improve our health and surroundings. We all have an internal compass that brings us back to center should we stray. But we must listen to that internal compass. Today, I want to encourage you! Take a moment to do this exercise with me. When we are in the deepest valley and we don't know where to turn, give thanks. When we are not sure if we can financially stand in this economy, give thanks. When we feel like everything we have is being taken away, give thanks. In everything Give Thanks to God. Dan Downey says, "Praise is the highway that faith moves it's blessings down". When we trust like Job, when we trust like Horatio Spafford, who wrote "It is well with my soul" after losing his family and his finances....when we can lift our head and give thanks, God comes on the scene and though things may not change right away, He gives us the grace to walk it through. Love Is The Way!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good! Love is patient, Love is Kind. In 1st Corinthians 13:4, it describes what love is in such a beautiful way. We know what love is but do we know what love does. Love, when applied to every situation in our lives, becomes a powerful action word. When applied to volatile situations, it brings peace. When applied to loneliness, it brings friends. When applied to a broken heart, the broken heart is made whole again. When applied to our children, they blossom. We can literally apply love to every situation in our lives and watch the most amazing things happen. The next time we are given a choice as to how to handle a something or someone....pause! Say a prayer, see the situation in love, apply that love and then make the decision. When love is applied a new story is written. What might have been is no more and what is....is simply Love! Good Morning Christian Peeps! It's funny how things that you have heard so many times only catch your full attention some of the time. Yesterday, I heard that commercial from Capital One...you know the one that tells you in order to be secure in spending you must carry the card that keeps you safe? Their catch phrase is: "What's In Your Wallet!" Well, I got to thinking about that in the spiritual realm. How can we guarantee that we are safe and secure? What's in our spiritual wallet? What are we holding that can protect us no matter what we are going through. When we have the Holy Spirit inside us, we have security, we have peace, we have blessed assurance, we have all that we need. It's all we need to carry! What's in our wallet today? Be Blessed!

Look Inside And Find Yourself!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When we look into our own hearts, what do we see. Sometimes it's hard to take a good look at what is on the inside. We are afraid of what we will find. But it's only when we can truly look at who we are that we can see the vision that is inside us. We must first know who we are before we can affect someone else. We must first love ourselves before we can love someone else. We must first take care of ourselves before we can help someone else. It takes a us being whole before we can reach outside ourselves and help others. Take a moment today, listen closely to what our heart is telling us. Change Our Thoughts, Change Who We Are!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! According to an article in the New York Times we have approximately 3 thoughts per minute, about 3-5000 per day maybe more...depending on stress level. Our thoughts shape how we react to things, how we start our day, who we interact with, and on and on. Our thoughts control and shape our lives. That's why it is so important to pay attention to what we are thinking. Are we thinking negatively or positively? We can change our thought in the middle and think something else. We have ultimate control of our thoughts....when it comes in...if it is not appropriate, scrap it and try a better one. Once we change our thoughts we shape our attitudes and when our thoughts and attitudes are positive, then joy comes in and then we can share joy with those around us! It all leads to good things! God Is Our Destressor!!

Stress, to put it bluntly, is bad for you. It can kill you, in fact. A study now reveals that stress causes deterioration in everything from your gums to your heart and can make you more susceptible to everything from the common cold to cancer. from News-Medical.Net. We are too blessed to be stressed!! The one thing that can bring stress under control faster than anything else is giving what is stressing us to God. He knows all, sees all and can take care of all. He tells us to cast our cares on Him! Whatever we have need of today, He can provide. We can truly let the stress go and just give it to God. It is only hard to do when we can't turn loose and trust Him. What is stopping us today from completely believing that God can do what He says He will do! Ride Out The Storm!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Louisa May Alcott once said, "I am not afraid of storms, I am learning to sail my own ship." It's true that once we realize life is a series of storms and those storms teach us things that we need to know in order to advance on our journey; we can then approach them with a different strategy. Instead of being afraid, we can learn better how to navigate them. Instead of letting the storm rule us, we can rule the storm. We have often heard people say...."ride out the storm", well, in essence when we trust in God, we can ride out the storm. We recognize it as a storm, realize what needs to be done to get through the storm, set our course, stay the course and pray. Then when we have mastered the storm, there is sweet peace. ..Until the next storm...but with each storm....we become better and better at staying the course. Whatever storm we might be facing today....Stay the course, pray, and we will come out victorious! Be Blessed!

God's Love Sees Beyond Our Imperfections!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Zacheus was a man in the Bible who was not only short but by his own admission a corrupt tax collector. One day he heard that Jesus was coming to town. He wanted to see what all the excitement was about, but being a short man and with the crowds, he had to climb a tree in order to see Jesus. When Jesus came along, He noticed Zacheus and told him to come down for today he would have dinner with him. Now when Jesus saw Zacheus, he didn't see a short man or a corrupt tax collector but he saw what Zacheus could be. God's love sees not our imperfections but the possibilities! So when we exhibit God's love everyday we shouldn't see imperfections in people around us either but just like God....we should look beyond the imperfections and see the possibilities...that is God's love! Fly First Class With Jesus!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes we feel we are not worthy of the good things in life. Maybe we were told that as children, or maybe it was brought on by something we witnessed. Most of us are flying economy when God has first class just waiting for us. We should not settle for the mediocre things in life, we should always be reaching for the great things! Our Father is a King! In Psalms 37:4 it says "delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart! When we put Him first and go about doing His business first... we don't even have to worry about anything else...He takes care of it....and when He takes care of it......we fly first class, not economy! He Will Never Leave Us!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good! He says He will never leave us nor forsake us. So no matter where we are this morning...God is there! In the valley, on the mountain, in green pastures or rocky hills..God is there! In good times, in bad times, in good finances, in bad.... God is there. He is always leading and guiding us....we may slip away from time to time to try something else out...but when we realize He is what we need... He is still right where we left Him! Sometimes we let Him handle our problems, sometimes we don't...either way He is still there! Sometimes we trust Him enough, sometimes we don't...He is still There. Why don't we just walk with Him this morning... fall in line with Jesus and let Him take over....things are so much easier! Be Blessed!

I Will Bless The Lord At All Times!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Psalms 34: verse 1 says... "I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth." I love this scripture. This is what praise will do for us. When we are praising God, we can't be negative. When we are in the praise mode, we can't be down. When we are lifting God up, we can't be putting others down. Praise lifts our spirits. Whatever is going on is not half as bad when we began to praise. Praise is a joyful act! Whether it's singing, or just telling God how wonderful He is...we can't help but become joyful! The greatest thing is that praise produces results. Whatever you have need of when you began to praise....God comes on the scene. The Bible says "He inhabits the praises of His people" ..that means He loves it when we praise Him! Indulge in joyful praise and watch happens to our day! Be Blessed!

Grace Under Fire!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Earnest Hemingway coined the phrase "Grace under pressure". He related this to having guts, but it is considered today to mean maintaining your attitude while going through something intense. Sometimes we go through much more than just pressure, we feel as if we are going through fire! So a lot of times the phrase used is grace under fire. One example of grace under fire for me was Job in the Bible. No matter what Satan was allowed to do to him he maintained his cool and his position of faith in God. God gives us the grace to stand through trials. He covers us with his grace. The covering of grace to me would be like a cool wet blanket thrown over you in a fire. You can still feel the heat but you are untouched by it. When we are going through trials it feels good to know that God's grace covers us. When we have that covering we can just keep walking in the right direction, holding tight to God's hand. With God's grace we are assured a right outcome if we hold on. Hold on through the fire! Keep God's grace wrapped tightly around us! Be Blessed!

Be Passionate About Something!!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When is the last time we expressed passion for something? Passion is
the emotions as distinguished from reason b : intense, driving, or overmastering feeling or conviction. When we are passionate about something we move forward with everything we have, we do whatever it takes to make it happen! We find ways to tell people how we feel, we turn over every stone to get the word out! When we are passionate, we do not let anything get in our way. We bulldoze right through opposition, we shovel adversity aside, we propel ourselves over obstacles and we forge through hardships. What are we passionate about today.... when we are passionate we feel so alive! What is stopping us from our passionate purpose? It's time we become passionate again! It's time we quit worrying about what others think and get our passion back. How many of us would be more passionate about our lives if we knew we only had one more day to live? What More Could We Need!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I thought of my favorite scripture this morning and I wanted to share how I see it.

The Lord is My Shepard......He leads me and guides me

I Shall not want......He supplies all my needs

He Maketh me to lie down in green pastures..... He takes me to the good places and allows me to lay down and rest.

He leadeth me beside still waters....He lets me quench my thirst

He restoreth my soul.....He provides for the restoration of my spirit.

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake......He takes me down the right roads.

Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.....Their may be rough times, sad times, hard times

I will fear no evil.... I will not worry or be afraid.

For thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.... He is always with us, protecting us when there is danger and pulling
us back on the path when we stray.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.....He gives me the best, even when my enemies are making it tough.

Thou annoinest my head with oil.... He annoints us to do great things for Him.

My cup runneth over.... He gives us more than we can handle.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.... His goodness and mercy is always with us when we need it.

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.... and when all is said and done...I am going to a better place to live with Him!

Thy Word Is A Lamp Unto Our Feet!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path".Psalm 119:105. His word can lead us and guide us everyday of our lives. When we are faced with a situation, if we will only get quiet for a moment and ask Him to take over and show us what to do..He will! It really is that simple. Sometimes we get in such a hurry that we forget to consult God before we make decisions, but when we do everything works out so much better. When we are walking in harmony with God, His word comes to mind when we need it and just like the scripture says, it illuminates our path! Be Blessed!

Are We Leaving People Better For Having Known Us?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Yesterday at church Pastor said something that stuck with me. Are we leaving people better for having known us? In other words are we affecting the world around us? Are we contributing to someones well being or are we being detrimental to them. Everywhere that Jesus went in the Bible, He was the epitome of love. His compassion shown above all else. He had compassion for everyone He met and their lives were changed for having known Him. So therefore wouldn't the definition of being Christ-like be one of complete love and compassion? Are we showing that to everyone we meet? Will our legacy be that people were affected positively or negatively? Let's make it our mission to be Christ-like everyday. To reach out to someone everyday with love and change their world. It starts with just one and there is a chance for it to snowball! Wouldn't that be great, if love caught on everywhere? If instead of looking for the bad, we looked for the good? Love is the key....just pass it around! Be Blessed!

Let Him Close That Door, And Reveal A Better One!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We have often heard the phrase, "when one door closes, other one opens". Well sometimes God wants to close doors for us so that He can take us into better places, less stressful places, places where our true talents can be used. But because the place we are in feels familiar to us, we stay. Even though there isn't any enjoyment in it anymore. Even though we know that we are just there because it "pays the bills" or fulfills some other need. But today God is saying that if we will have the courage to let Him close that door, He promises that He will open another one. When we take that leap of faith, He is right there! He sees the future and knows what lies behind the new door. We can ask Him today to show us the right door, to lead us and guide us to a life of fulfillment, of enjoyment, of passion! Be Blessed!

Greater Is He That Is In Us!!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is an unstoppable force within us today. If we could only wrap our minds around that concept, imagine what we could accomplish! "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." IJohn 4:4 We were created by the powerful hands of the Master, and when he comes to live whithin us, then we have awesome power to accomplish anything! Why is it so easy to listen to the negative force that tells us things are impossible, when we know that we have The most powerful source living on the inside that is capable of it all! Greater is He that is in us, then he that is in the world! We can do all things through Christ which strengthens us!!! We have the power today! It is time that we quit listening to all the negativity in this world....it is time that we take a stand in our lives.....it is time that we began to live the power filled lives we were created for! Are we tired of living mediocre lives? Are we tired of feeling defeated all the time? Are we tired of letting negativity rule our lives? Then turn to Jesus today...let Him show us the way! Let Him lead us to a more powerful, more abundant life!! Be Blessed!

Father, I pray this morning that you will help us discard all the negativity that has been coming against us! That you will show us how to live an abundant life in you. That you will help us to see that we were created in perfection, and it is the enemy working through all his negative forces that has taken our power away. Father, lead us back to that beginning perfection. Let us lead the lives that you ordained us to in the beginning. I pray for strength for everyone who reads this that a wonderful powerful stir will began to happen in the pit of their stomachs. That a holy excitement will rise up. A great determination will be born that says I will be what God has created me to be. I will no longer listen to the negativity around me, but I will remember the source from which I came and embrace that spirtit instead! IN JESUS NAME!

Broken, Blessed And Given!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is quite a lot of symbolism in the Bible. One that stands out is where at the last supper God broke the bread, blessed it, and gave it to the disciples. Sometimes in order for us to be dependent upon God again, He has to break us.....get us down where we are willing to listen to him and depend on him....sometimes that may mean that when he wants us to rest he allows us to be sick. How many know that when you are sick lying in bed you can get some thinking done! Then when he has our attention, he can talk with us and bless us, then he can give us our directions on where we need to go and what we need to do. Sometimes we have to quit being so independent and thinking we can do it all by ourselves. We need God to help us. Are we so independent that we can't even let God help us? We all know that when he is involved, things are so much easier. There is a peace that comes with depending on God. All we have to do is pray to him for help and he will bring peace, healing, strength whatever we need! Be Blessed!

Make The Choice To Live An Abundant Life!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God wants us to live a celebrated life. One filled with love, joy, excitement...basically abundance in everything...yes even our finances. It is not his will that we should live unfulfilled lives. But in order for us to live this abundant life we must fill our lives with the right combination. In order for us to have abundant health we must feed our bodies the right food. You wouldn't put leaded gas in an unleaded tank and expect it to run at the top level....why then do we continue to put bad foods into our system when we know their will be a consequence in our health later down the road. Why then do we continue to think negative thoughts or surround ourselves with a negative environment, if we know that it will bring us down and take away our joy. Why then do we spend our money unwisely, when we know that the consequence is the need to continue to work and not make enough to satisfy and meet our needs. God gives us the resources to live that abundant life but most of the time we make bad choices by executing our free will and choosing the bad thing rather than the good. It is time for a change!! It is time to began to think differently. God says if you will do the possible, He will do the impossible. Make the decision today to began to make the right choice, the one that will bring abundant life! One that will bring you joy, peace and prosperity! Yes it is possible, we hold the keys to our abundant life! We can ask God today to help us make right choices and He will! Be Blessed!

Don't Throw In The Towel!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I felt something really strong in my spirit this morning. That someone was considering throwing in the towel. The word I got was "you can't throw in the towel". This is a saying taken from the boxing ring. When an opponent was too beat up to continue his manager would throw a towel into the ring signaling surrender. No matter what we are facing, we can't afford to throw in the towel. We have come so far. Backing up now, would only serve to lose all the ground we have gained. It gets exhausting in the ring, day after day fighting the fight. Sometimes we wonder what all the fighting is far. But just as the boxer is fighting for a title, we are literally fighting for our souls. We may feel that we are not qualified to fight certain fights, but there are no accidents. We each have a mission that we must fulfil and in order to do so we must win those fights. We have what it takes, we have the training, now we just need to hang in there, pray to God and He will help us to be the conquerors that we are! Be Blessed!

Don't Give up! Just Get Up!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We have two choices: We can give up or get up. "We cannot always control our circumstances but we can control the attitudes of our heart." JM God sends everything to us for a reason and for a season. What seems like bad is really for our good, if only we can trust that He already has a plan and is working it out! We want always understand it at first but as we walk it out trusting God, it's amazing how things become so apparent and we say "wow, so that was what He had in mind!" Things are always better when God has His hand in it. So if you are thinking today, "I might as well give up!" Change it to "I might as well get up! We will see for more positive results with the second than the first. If we choose the first then Satan wins!

Watch For Your Signal!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The traffic lights that we encounter each day in our drive to work are the stop, go and caution. When we see the red light we know automatically that we are to stop. It's for our safety. We must obey the lights or we will find ourselves in a possible accident. Sometimes we can just go when it's green and if we are lucky we can catch the green lights and proceed for a while without stopping. Also, the yellow light encourages us to proceed with caution. It's a little more difficult in our walk with God to know which lights we are on. We have to rely on our instincts, gut feeling or just the impression of the Holy Spirit. We can get better at reading the lights the more we pray and read our bible. Sometimes we just need to put it in Park and wait for the Holy Spirit to show us which way he wants us to go. It's important that we don't get in a hurry. We could miss an important signal. Pay attention to the signals that we are receiving today. It could mean the difference an accident or cruise control. Lord Hit The Restore Button!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When we get our computers they are usually already programmed and ready to go. But as we use them, adding and removing programs and surfing the world wide web, we find that sometimes our computers start acting up. They are not running as smoothly as they once did nor as fast. So we try to eliminate and clean it up to see if that helps. Often it does...but if it doesn',t sometimes the only solution is to hit the restore or default button to take everything back to where it started. That is how it works sometimes in our walk with God. We try on so many things thinking that it is the calling God has for us, or the path we are to take, when we haven't truly listened at all. We get so many things attached to us that we don't need that sometimes it's just easier to say "God please hit the restore button and put me back to where you had me in the beginning, so I can follow you and only you." Maybe we should ask God to hit the restore button today. It's time to get rid of the things that are slowing us down and the things that are making us discouraged and tired. Let God restore us today! Get A Positive Vibe And Spread It Around!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Everything in this earth has vibrations. We have vibrations. Where ever we go there are vibrations being sent out. Before we even walk into a room, our vibrations go before us. Sometimes we can tell how someone is feeling long before we look into their face. That is the vibration we are sending out. If our vibration is strongly negative it will affect everyone around us including our children. What does our christian vibration say to people when we come around? Does love enter the room with us? Does happiness surround us? We can control what vibe we send out. Our thoughts control our vibe! When we make our thoughts positive we not only bring ourselves up but others around us. I find that my children's moods are sometimes a reflection of my mood. Let's change the world around us....one person at a time. I challenge us to try it today. Stability Is Key!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Stability is important in our everyday life and in our walk with God. If we are affected by every wind of change that comes, then we cannot progress forward. If we are shaken by every test that comes our way then we cannot grow. The tests in our lives are to prove not only to God but to ourselves that we can stand! How great do we feel when we know that we have passed a test! When we know that we just showed ourselves strong! In Acts 27 and 28 it talks about all the trouble Paul had on the ship. How he went fourteen days through a storm! He was a prisoner! When the ship finally wrecked, he was bitten by a snake! But through it all he remained steadfast! He remained stable! And it was important that he do so because by remaining stable, he showed his faith and trust in God and witnessed to all those people on board the ship and the Island. People came to him and were healed! The outcome? When the ship was ready to sail again, Paul and the people on board were given everything they needed to help them get where they were going! Whatever storm we may be going through right now...Hold on! Remain stable, and God will bring marvelous good from the bad! Be Blessed!

To Obey Is Better Than Sacrifice!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! In I Samuel 15:22 it says: "To obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams." When we disobeyed our parents it brought consequences. There was a penance to pay. And it wasn't fun! Sometimes what we did, knowing we would be punished for it...turned out, to not be worth getting into trouble for. Well, it is the same with God. He wants us to obey His commandments, to lay aside those things that are disobedient to Him. We are to examine our lives and see what we have hidden there that shouldn't be. Maybe that's why we can't seem to hear from God. Maybe that's why we are lost and not sure where to turn. Maybe that's why we can't get our healing. God sees all, He already knows what's there. Bring it to light, confess it and began to move into a more peaceful realm. Obedience really is better than sacrifice! Be Blessed!

What Are We Striving For!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What is it that we hope to gain by rushing around everyday in our busy lives? David said it so well in Psalms 39: 6.. "We are merely shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth for someone else to spend." I think the most sobering thought that I received was how when you die, instantly Life goes on! People may mourn for a while but life continues on. The rushing continues and for what? In Luke 12:21..Jesus said, "Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God." We can't take it with us. And all that we have get's distributed and life continues on. James 4:14 says, "How do you know what will happen tomorrow? For your life is like the morning fog - It's here a little while, then it's gone. " I know this is sobering today but what are we living for? People or for eternal life? We can began today to put our priorities straight! We can began today to make our lives matter! We can impact people for God rather than storing up earthly treasures that we may not even get to use. God is calling us to a higher purpose. It's high time we began to really think about what we are doing right now and make a change! We can do what God has called us to do! Think about it!

Lay Aside Every Weight And Sin!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Have you ever had to wade out in water fully dressed or wade through mud? That feeling of having to push to get through? Well, in my mind that is what we are experiencing when we are trying to reach our destination or calling but we can't seem to get there. It just seems hard! We push and we push but we make very little headway. The Bible says in Hebrews 12:1, and I am focusing on the one part...let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us, the word beset simply means: trouble, harass, hem in. The reason we can't reach our destination is because there is something there that is stopping us. We may not be able to see it at first, because it has been there so long that we have become accustomed to having it there and we don't realize it is the very thing that is standing in our way. When we can clear a path between us and God by letting go of those things that tend to take presidence, then we can move toward our destination or our calling much easier.
Let's remove any and all things that might be in the way....clear our path and began to move forward! Be Blessed!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I have been quoted often that, "God will not take you anywhere your character can't keep you." Our character is so important when walking out our calling in God. Before we can DO anything for God we must get ourselves right first. "Put being before doing". Here are a few thing to remember when it comes to character.

1. We are given our gifts, but we must develop our character.
2. Our character earns the trust of others.
3. Only good character gives lasting success with people.
4. Sound character communicates soundly and consistently.
5. Our character colors our perspective.
6. Ability may get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there.
7. We cannot rise above our limitations of our character.

Peace And Worry Cannot Coexist!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! In order to get peace we have to get rid of worry. They cannot coexist in the same space. In John 14:27 Jesus said... Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. (RSV). How many times have we read this scripture and still do not heed what Jesus says? He says He gives us His peace...not like the world would gives, but as He gives. How many of us know that the world does not offer real peace? He advises us not to let our hearts be troubled (worry)! And not be afraid!! He has already given us the peace we need. He left it for us.. now all we have to do is embrace it! Quit worrying, since worry is not of God and began to walk in trust and let peace envelop us! Be Blessed!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The word simplify means to: reduce to basic essentials b : to diminish in scope or complexity. When we feel that the weight of the world is on our shoulders, it is time to simplify our lives. Just like our homes our lives get cluttered with unneccesary things. So in order to bring our lives back to order and have peace we must do away with those things that are draining us and not contributing to our lives in a positive manner. We face something that seems really daunting and overwhelming and wonder if we can make it...sometimes we just say forget it...it seems too hard! But like the fog, if we would creep, if we have to, up to it...we would find that it really isn't all that bad. That as we get closer, it gets thinner. We can actually see, we can actually still get through it. It wasn't as bad as it seemed! Well, so are the big problems we face. They may seem overwhelming at first, but once we just step in and began to tackle it, we find it really isn't all that bad after all. And guess what is on the other side of the fog.....sunshine! Our Own Road Map!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We were all created uniquely by God's design and given a specific journey by which to travel. We all have our own road map that is unique to us. We cannot follow someone else's road map or we will get lost. Our journey is not their journey. Their journey is not ours. Since our road map was created by God we must use His guidance to comprehend our map, to understand where we are to turn or stay straight. Some road maps show the hazard points but we miss them because we glance at the map and think we know our way. We need to refer to our map again and again so as not to lose our way. If we have lost our road map, ask God to give it to us again. We can make it if we follow our own road map. Be Blessed!

Let The Lord Be Our Director!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Even though Moses saw the burning bush that wasn't actually burning, it took until God spoke for him to realize this was something phenomenal. God had to make him understand that something wonderful was taking place. "Take off your shoes, for you are standing on Holy Ground!" Acts 7:33. There are moments in our lives that are moments of definition. Defining moments that change the course of our lives. Moses had the burning bush. Can you think of times when things have happened that set you on another course in your life? I can! God wants us to recognize when he is trying to get our attention. When we are close to him and listen we can be directed in all areas of our lives. We can go to him with the smallest decision and He will show us what to do. We can make the decision to follow Him, to let Him direct our lives and when we do ("the steps of a good man, are ordered of the Lord" Psalm 37:23) we will fullfil what God has placed within us! Speak Lord, We Will Listen!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When talking to God this morning, I was reminded of a two-way radio. When you talk in your end you have to push the button so the other person can hear you. And when you are finished you let up on the button and wait for the other person to respond. How many times do we talk to God but never let up on the button so he can respond. If we did that with our two-way radios, basically it would be a one-way conversation and the other person would get frustrated and turn their radio off. I have been trying to train myself to listen and be quiet, which for me, if you know me is really hard. The funny thing was, in the midst of trying to be quiet, I found myself saying more things to God...and all of a sudden I heard these words..."you talk too much"... I started to laugh. God wants to talk back to us.. He wants to answer our questions. He wants to tell us how to be successful, how to get what we have been praying for... Lord help us to let up on the button and listen! Speak Lord and we will listen. Be Blessed!

Greater Love!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends John 15:13 (KJV). When we allow love to flow in our lives, it opens up doors that we never knew were closed. We see people and situations in a totally different light when we approach with a loving spirit. Anger melts when is love present. Depression leaves when love is present. Sadness cannot survive when love is present. The unreachable becomes reachable! The untouchable, touchable. When Push Comes To Shove!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Yesterday I wrote about not pushing just praying...well this morning I was impressed that there are times when you must push your way through! I heard these words...."When push comes to shove"...so I began thinking about them.. What does that mean? Well, I think it means that when you have pushed and pushed and still can't seem to get a situation to move...then it's time for a big shove. If you have ever seen someone trying to push a car out of the mud or in our case the snow.. you know, that at some point you have to get some major momentum going so instead of just pushing...you back up and give it a great big shoulder shove. We may need to do that to the evil forces that are standing in our way...just give it a big shove today and move it out of our way! Declare that we are no longer going to let something stand in the way of living our dream! Of living the anointed life God has for us! Shove your way through today! Be Blessed!

Wait! Wait Upon The Lord!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There are times when we can see our dream but we can't seem to touch it or make it real. These are the times when we want to push to make something, anything happen. However, when we do that we are likely setting ourselves up for a mistake. When we rush anything the outcome most always isn't the right one. Instead of pushing, this is the time to be patient and pray! Use this time for meditation so that when the opportunity does knock, our spirit will be ready. Our hearts will be in tune waiting for God's timing not our own. Our prayer today should be: Dear Lord, help me to wait upon you, because by doing so I know you will not only renew my strength but you will work out all the details of my life. By His Stripes, We ARE Healed!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is a healer. By his stripes we are healed. He took all of those painful stripes so that we would have healing for our bodies. Yet it is still hard for us to believe in our healing. That's because Satan would like nothing more than to stop our belief to keep us bound down in pain. Just as God went to the cross for our sins, He received those stripes for our healing. Don't let them go in vain. Begin to believe in your healing today. Release your faith.... and although you may not see it right away, just know that it is on it's way. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen!" Hebrews 11:1. Be Blessed with healing today!

Remember The Good Things!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When the days seem long and the nights so short.....when you feel really low and have no where to go..... When you are trying to smile but just don't feel it.... take a mini vacation inside. Begin to recall something that happened that made you smile. Remember a song that has a great memory attached. Or look at your children and realize how great they are and wonderful it is that we have them. Look at your Mom or Dad and be ever grateful that they are still around. Embrace the little things, hold them tight and softly whisper a grateful prayer! We are blessed in so many wonderful ways! We just need to recall them sometimes. I am thankful for all of you and I pray wonderful blessings on each today! Be Blessed with God's ever abounding love!

The Flowers That Surround Us!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so wonderful. Like flowers He places wonderful people to surround us in our day to day journey. Each one blooms just when we need it to and each one releases a wonderful fragrance just for us. There are red ones that provide brilliant beauty and yellow ones that invoke peace. There are white ones that help us remember the best of things and blue ones that surprise us with their uniqueness. The green ones keep us grounded and the pink ones make us giggle. May all of the flowers that surround us bloom at the right time and may we all understand the significance of those blooms! Be Blessed!

He Will Calm The Troubled Waters Of Your Soul!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is a song that we used to sing years ago....the lyrics speak to me this morning..

He will calm the troubled waters of your soul
He can take a broken heart and make it whole.
When the storms of your life seem dark and cold.
He will calm the troubled waters of your soul.

Sometimes we are just troubled with worry, sickness, heartache, depression, sadness, loneliness...etc...but when we are troubled we only need to go to God and He will calm those troubles. We cannot fix them on our own, but with God all things are possible. Sometimes we are not even sure what the trouble is...we just know that something doesn't feel right. We don't have to know...we just take it to Him in prayer and He will take care of all our troubles! Be Blessed!

Make God A Priority, Not An Option!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! It is important that we realize we are God's priority not an option. Priority means: something given or meriting attention before competing alternatives. We can pick options to put on our cars but the motor is a priority. Without the motor the car won't run. Just as we must make God a priority in our lives. If He is an option then we are not operating at our full potential. For God is our creator. He is the one who allows us to exist. When we put God as our first priority of the day, then the day works out the way it is supposed to. Let God be first! Be Blessed!
