Are We Being Good Teachers?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! In honor of back to school....I got to hear a former teacher speak about his experience in school and how some very special teachers changed his life. One of the comments he made this morning was something to the affect of: People don't hear as well as they see, in other words our example; how we live is much more important than what we say. Words may be forgotten but the warmth of a hug stays with you forever! Who are we leading today. Who is it that may be watching us and we don't realize. Is it our children? What are we teaching them? We are the first teacher they will meet. We set the tone for the rest of their lives. Are we showing them Christ so that when they have a bad day they can pray to Him? So that He can be their moral compass. Let's all be teachers today... let's share Jesus with our kids and our world! Be Blessed!

Hearing Through God's Word!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.....Romans 10:17. What are we listening to today? Are we listening to God's word that tells us we are wonderfully made, that all we have need of is supplied, that whatever abilities we need, have already been given, or are we listening to the enemy who tells us the complete opposite of these things? Satan wants to destroy us but God wants to raise us up into his calling for our lives. We can choose today who we listen to, who we follow. We are given free choice! When we listen through God's word, we can then achieve the faith that we long for. We can then began to believe that we are worthy of ALL GOD'S BLESSINGS! I encourage each of us today to repeat this line over and over...accept it. Through our faith we can hear God calling us to a more abundant life in Him! Be Blessed!

What Does God Say About Us?!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What does God say about us? Who does God say I am? Here is a reminder.....


• I am a child of God.

But to all who have received him--those who believe in his name--he has given the right to become God's children … (John 1:12).

• I am a friend of Jesus.

I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because I have revealed to you everything I heard from my Father (John 15:15).

• I have been set free in Christ.

For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be subject again to the yoke of slavery (Galatians 5:1).

• I have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.

Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).

• I am redeemed and forgiven by the grace of Christ.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace (Ephesians 1:7).

• The peace of God guards my heart and mind.

And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

And my God will supply your every need according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Throw It Overboard!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Like Jonah, if we are experiencing storms in our lives, maybe it's time to throw some things overboard! What is it that we are holding onto that is causing issues in our lives? What is that thing that we know we need to give up but we just can't seem to do it? When Jonah who was fleeing from God's mission was thrown overboard, immediately the storms ceased. The guys who threw him overboard were relieved. Imagine our relief if we would just cut the cord on what's holding us back. We can ask God today to reveal what that something is so that we can heal. It's time to let it go.... Be Blessed!

Hear Our Heart!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! So as I'm listening to some southern gospel music this morning, a song from Jeff & Sheri Easter comes on entitled "Hear My Heart". As I listened to it I was reminded of how we've always been taught that GOD knows our heart.I know I've often wondered if in fact that is true when I'm struggling with something; however as I listened to this song it talks about times when there are no words to say, when I don't have strength to try, and I've cried all I can cry...hear my heart. You know Lord every fear and every doubt I cannot speak, You know all the ways I need you and all the ways I'm weak...So I'll be quiet so you can hear my heart!


Maybe the Lord is telling us today, that we need to be quiet so he can hear our heart. Maybe our prayers have been so jumbled up with questions, complaining, and even demands that all he wants us to do is be quiet so he can hear our heart. Be Blessed!

Let The Lord Fight Our Battles!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I heard these words today....."Let The Lord Fight Your Battles". It so hard sometimes when we know we are being attacked untruthfully. We want to take matters in our own hands but God doesn't want us to. He knows that He can take care of things much better than we can. He can solve it all by just placing His love all over the situation. So once again I step back and allow the Lord to work out these battles. To come to the forefront of my battles and take over. When I make that decision, then I find peace and rest in my soul! Too many times we are quick to jump into something that really has nothing to do with us. It is merely a tactic that the Devil has taken in order to cause us to quit. He is using someone else to get to us. Today is the day to allow our Lord and Savior to lead us in this fight. To direct our path so that we may once again rise above and win! Be Blessed!

Pushing Past The Exhaustion!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Our tendency when we get tired is to stop whatever we are doing. Same goes when we are overwhelmed with a project. How many times have we left things unfinished because we just couldn't bring ourselves to go that extra mile. Think about what would happen if we were running a race and decided 2 miles from being finished that we just couldn't go any further. Well, then we would fail....we would not accomplish our goals and we would feel bad that we gave up so easily. Well we are running a race and although we are confronted with obstacles and and just a feeling of complete and utter exhaustion we have to find the strength to just keep putting one foot in front of the other. We have to trust that the last little push is what is needed to put us where we need to be. Leaving things unfinished only causes more issues and pretty soon they pile up. Give it all to God this morning, whatever it may be....whatever may be causing our exhaustion, just give it to Him. Ask our Father to help us push through the obstacles and reach our goals! He Is Faithful! Be Blessed!

Who Do We Believe...What Do We Believe?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What if we did not have a 24 hour time constraint? What if your age didn't matter and what if we believed we could do anything? What if we truly believed anything was possible? If there were not limits placed on us....what would we do? Would things be different in our lives? Would we be at a totally different place? Then who are we listening to? A day to God is as a thousand years....so he isn't worried about 24 hours. He didn't care about age when He made it possible for Sarah who was 90 to give birth! He tells us that all things are possible through Him! So what are we truly letting stand in our way? Who are we listening to.....because if we are listening to God we know that there aren't any limits to what He can do through us! I hope this causes everyone of us to look at our lives in a totally different light. It's time to wake up and quit making excuses as to why we aren't happy or successful or healthy. We have the choice to make. Who will we listen to....who will we believe? Be Blessed!

Working Within Us!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…” Ephesians 3:20 (NIV) There is a power that is at work within us and around us. Just like the wind or the rain we don't necessarily see the source but we know that is came from somewhere. Our source is there as well. The provider of our soul, of our physical needs, our mental needs. He is our source, our creator and He is working within us. The secret is to have patience and let Him do the work. The test is to give it time....wait upon the Lord so that He can do a perfect work within us. Then will we see the amazing results! Be Blessed!

A Perfect Work!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Phillippians 1:6. Let this scripture resonate with us today! Another version says For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.


I love this......He will not quit until what he began in us is perfected! There is the hope we are looking for! There is what we need to continue on and not give up! A work is being done in us right now! A good work! Embrace it and let God perfect in us all that we need! Be Blessed!

Do It With Purpose!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is a business axiom that says "Do It With Purpose"! How many of us get up everyday determined to do whatever it is that we have to do with purpose. Do we stop to think that although our flesh may be tired and weary, this could in fact be the day that we save a life, impact someone for the better, improve circumstances, or just stop an incident. We are the vessels that God uses to impact this world. We are the ones that may stand in the gap and save someone from hopelessness. It is with a purpose that we can impact our world. But we must proceed with purpose! We must be determined to go forth today and everyday and make a difference. We may not even know the lives we touch today but how wonderful would it be to find out 5 years from now that we saved a life and didn't even know it. Let's not miss that golden opportunity today! Think As A Child!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I was thinking about how in the Bible it talks about coming to Christ as a child. There is a good reason for that. If you notice a child believes truly that anything is possible. They totally believe that dreams can come true. They believe they can do anything. They are not fearful of life and what it brings......until we tell them to be. Until we tell them their dreams are impossible. Until we make them afraid to try to accomplish even the smallest thing. More than likely that is what happened to us. Forget today what we were told in the past and began to believe what God has told us all along. He should know what we are capable of... he created us!
