Embrace The New Year!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! As we move forward and the New Year approaches, we give thanks to God for this past year! With all of it's ups and downs, we are still blessed beyond measure. We also, forgive the not so good things we did and embrace the things that we are most proud of. We leave this year in the past, and look forward to the new year with lots of love and excitement! We must understand that in order to have a wonderful new year full of blessings, that we must look to this new year with a positive mind. Our positive thoughts come from God. We have the ability to make this year the best one yet. It's a new opportunity! A new time to decide to take action instead of waiting on our circumstances to change. Be Blessed!

Christmas Gift Suggestions....

Good Morning Christian Peeps! For Christmas this year why not consider these Christmas gift suggestions: To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart.

To a customer, service. To all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect. Oren Arnold This Christmas, instead of trying to find the "right" gift, just give the "best" gift! The Gift of Love! When we give love, we give Jesus! Merry Christmas from Christian Peeps! I Pray Blessings On You All!

He Is In The Stillness!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I Kings 19:11-12 Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD.” And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. This passage is part of the story about how Elijah after having been used of God to destroy 450 prophets of Baal but when Queen Jezebel threatened to kill him, he ran away and hid. Why is it that we can believe God for some things but not for others? Elijah had, with the help of God destroyed all those prophets but when confronted with one person didn't feel adequate. The scripture denotes that sometimes we expect to find God to move as a great wind or earthquake or fire.....but we simply need only to be still.....He's in the stillness! God is not in the chaos of this world! He is in the stillness and in the peace! Be Blessed!

Finding Christ In The Chaos!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We all know it's Christmas. We find ourselves this time of year, every year on the fast track. Running here, running there, trying to get ready for Christmas. But I wonder if during our running, our weariness, our chaotic lives if we take the time to find Christ. If we look closely enough we will see that Christ is in the midst of all this chaos we know as Christmas. There is the widow who gets a knock at the door and someone brings her the food that she didn't think she would have. Or the children whose Mom cried herself to sleep the night before because she couldn't pay her bills must less buy presents for her children; who then wakes up to find presents on the front porch. Or maybe it's the lonely Grandmother in the nursing home who expects to spend another Christmas alone; but then a stranger visits and spends hours just talking to her. Yes, Christ is in the midst of the chaos; He is in all of us who will let Him use us to provide for that family in need or the lonely Grandmother. For Christ birthday, why not reach out to someone in need? Why not be the Christ in someone's Chaos this Season? That would be the best gift we could give our Lord. It is his desire that we feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and shelter the homeless! Be Blessed!

Beauty For Ashes...

Good Morning Christian Peeps! You know the Bible speaks about how God will give us Beauty for Ashes...well what we all need to understand is that we must first be willing to give up our Ashes in order for him to give us the Beauty. Isaiah 61 talks about how if we are suffering from an emotional wound that the Lord is willing and able to give us Beauty for Ashes, Oil of Joy for our mourning, and a Garment of Praise for our despair! How awesome is that! We allow the enemy so many times to cause us to focus on the Ashes so much that we can't even see the Beauty God has to offer much less even imagining it. The dictionary defines ashes as the residue of something destroyed; deathlike and beauty as something or a person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction. We have a choice in which one we want to walk in today. What will you choose? Be Blessed.

Practice Makes Perfect!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We have heard all of our lives that practice makes perfect! Well, that same principle can be applied to our walk with God. We need to practice our Bible reading so that we know what the word says. We need to practice prayer so that we get better at it. We need to practice our daily walk....not submitting to temptation, remaining steadfast and improving our faith. By concentrating on these things, we will become better at them. Let these things become a bigger part of our lives. Be Blessed!

Love Letter From Jesus!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  Letter from Jesus.... "Dear Loved One, soon it will be my birthday.  This year I would love it if you would just talk to me more.  I wait patiently everyday to see if you will give me a moment but you seem really busy!  I have so many things I would like to share with you, if you could just stop what you are doing a moment and listen.  I want to share with you my ideas for your future, but I guess there is just too much going on, with you getting ready for Christmas!  I hope this year you will take the time to share me with someone.  That is such a good gift for anyone.  Your children, husband, family and friends.  Sometimes I think you are getting ready to share me with a co-worker but then you just continue on with your work.  I love you so much and want only the best for you.  I see you struggling but you want ask me for help.  You are always talking to your friends about what you should do...but you never ask me what I think.  Please remember me this year!  With all the presents and the eating and the football.....please remember me!  Don't forget that I died for you!  I love you so much that I gave my life for you!  I am going to close now.  May this year be all that you hoped it would be.  And when you need me I am always there!  Love Jesus"

Look For The Open Door!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us."~ Alexander Graham Bell With the new year fast approaching, we must challenge ourselves to leave this year behind permanently. This year is slowly taking it's place in History. We can learn from this past year but we can't stay in this past year. We must embrace the new year and look forward to what this year will bring. We must look expectantly toward this new year believing that it will far surpass this last one! We have the power to set ourselves up for a wonderful, new, and exciting year! Leave the door closed, and look with great anticipation to the new year! God's blessings await each and everyone of us! Be blessed!

God Will Provide!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There are so many people during this time of year who feel lost because they cannot provide food much less presents for their families. But God knows what they have need of. He will supply their needs and may use us to do it. We need to be sensitive this Christmas season, ask God to show us a family in need. That would be a great gift to give Jesus for his Birthday. If we all adopted a family, imagine how many families would not go hungry this season! Let the love of God flow through us into someone else's life. That is after all what it's all about! Be Blessed!

Luke 12:22-29

And He said to His disciples, "For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing? Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds! And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life's span? If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith! And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying.

God's Eyes!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  “If I accept you as you are, I will make you worse; however if I treat you as though you are what you are capable of becoming, I help you become that.” Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe  When we can see people the way God made them, then we can help them to become just that!  We have the power to pour into other's lives.  To encourage them with words of encouragement and love.  To help them see what God sees.  To help them see what God created them to be!  Look around today and see through God's eyes!  Then act accordingly.  Be Blessed!

Sing A New Song!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Just like David, we can sing a new song unto the Lord. We can make up the words to a new song to sing to the Lord. David sang praises that he had composed to God and he also sang made up prayers to get God's attention. We too can customize our songs and prayers to fit our needs. The Bible says that the Lord inhabits our praises. Began to sing praises unto the Lord....we don't have to be singers to sing. God honors what comes from our hearts. Pray a prayer from our hearts today and watch the Lord provide for that prayer! Let what is in your heart come out! God wants to bless us today! Be Blessed!

Before They Call, I Will Answer!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Isaiah 65:24 24And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. God is so good. He is eager to help us! In the beginning, Adam and Eve had everything. He did not want them to be without anything. That was His love for them in action. But when they disobeyed Him, He could no longer just give them what they needed. Because they had opened the door to free will, they must now ask for what was needed. His enthusiasm for giving us what we need has not gone away...but now we must go to Him and ask. But take a look at the scripture....before they call, I will answer, and while they are yet speaking, I will hear! Awesome God! I imagine Him on the edge of his seat, so to speak, just waiting for us to ask Him for something and before we can even get it completely out of our mouths, he is already answering.... Today, God wants to answer our prayers. He is just waiting for us to ask Him for what we need! Ask, believe and receive! Be Blessed!

Evenutally We Make Our Mark!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Constant dripping hollows out a stone. Lucretius No matter how bad we want to quit sometimes.... if we just keep on keeping on....eventually we make our mark. Eventually we hone out a place for ourselves that wasn't there before. Eventually we succeed simply because we did not give up. Over time what we are doing will matter but we won't ever see it if we choose to give up. Someone will never be able to enjoy it because we gave up. No one will know about it because we gave up! Don't give up.....we are making the hollows a little at a time! Be Blessed!

Are We Paying Attention!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What I know is: when we have a good thought or idea... write it down. When that voice inside us speaks....listen. When we are impressed to do something good....do it. When we feel happy ....go with it. Sometimes we miss the little things and it's those things that are the markers for what we are to do and how we are to do it. Listening is one of the best tools we can have. Pay attention today to the little signs. They will lead us to the right path. Be Blessed!

Look up!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see the beauty, believe in them and try to follow where they lead. Be Blessed!

It's How You Play The Cards!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We are all dealt a hand of cards in life. But it's not so important what kind of hand we were dealt as it is the way we play those cards. It's the attitude we approach the hand we were dealt. It's the way we look at that hand! Will we just give up and fold right away or will we be determined to win! Will we strategize until we fine a way or will we just decide it's not worth the effort? Will we decide that we are a victim or will we decide that we are the victor?! Our approach to our life decides the outcome of our life. Our success depends heavily on our decisions. We really do get out of life what we contribute to it. We sometimes allow things into our lives that we know shouldn't be, thereby altering our life successes! We must pay attention today to what our heart is telling us. We must take some time and study our cards.....because the next hand that is dealt could be our ace or it could be the very card that causes us to fold! Be Blessed!

Let Us Give Thanks!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Thanks be to God always for His many blessings! Thanksgiving: Giving thanks! Let's give thanks always! Give thanks that we are alive and well today. Give thanks that we have food to prepare. Give thanks that we have family who love us. Give thanks that we have a Heavenly Father who watches over us. Give thanks! Be Blessed!

Here are a few cute quotes to make you laugh!

Thanksgiving is an emotional holiday. People travel thousands of miles to be with people they only see once a year. And then discover once a year is way too often. ~ Johnny Carson

May your stuffing be tasty, May your turkey plump, May your potatoes and gravy, Have nary a lump. May your yams be delicious, And your pies take the prize, And may your Thanksgiving dinner Stay off your thighs! ~ Anonymous

Let There Be Thanksgiving!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When I think of the goodness of Jesus and what He has done for me...my souls cries out Hallelujah! I went back into the archives of the Christian Peeps Blog and found what I had written Thanksgiving week in 2008! I thought it was worth sharing again.

This Thanksgiving, let there be songs and lots of joy! Let us spread good cheer. Let us be Thankful for all of God's wonderful blessings! Let us reach out to someone and help them. Let us give hugs freely and let everyone know of God's love! Pray blessings on everyone you come in contact with. Say extra prayers of Thanksgiving for this wonderful Holiday season! God is good! When we think more of others and less of ourselves, we get more from others and less from ourselves. May the joy of the Lord rest on each and every one of you and may his blessings rain from the sky. -- Be Blessed!!

Jer 30:19

There will be joy and songs of thanksgiving, and I will multiply my people and make of them a great and honored nation.

The Power Of The Spoken Word!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God spoke the world into existence. When He said "Let there be light"....there was light! God's words hold power. So when we speak God's words over our lives, we activate the power from those words. When we add faith to the spoken words and then act upon what we speak and believe then we have a recipe for success. Too many times we have neglected to open our mouths and speak. The Bible talks about having the faith of a grain of mustard seed that we can speak to our mountains and they will be removed. What mountain are we facing today? What obstacle is in our way? Speak to it! Put your faith all over it and began to move toward the mountain. "Faith really can move mountains"! God's word really can open doors of opportunity in our lives! Be Blessed!

Pure In Heart!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  Matthew 5:8  "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."  Think of a pure heart as: all the undesirable elements removed.  When we possess a pure heart everything we do comes from a positive place, from a place of loving.  With a pure heart we are propelled to do good, not evil.  Everything we do is for good.  Each day we set out to help others,by relieving pain, providing comfort, showing empathy.  It's the pure in Heart, the Bible says, that will see God.  We all want to see God, so today should be a day for examining our heart.  Where do we stand?  Are we doing things from the Heart?  Each day we can choose whom we will serve.  Each day we can choose if we will do good or evil.  Be a pure heart today!  Be Blessed!

Amazing Grace!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Amazing Grace! Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. I looked up the word abound and it means to be present in large numbers. To be supplied such as a harvest. We talk about how this world seems to be getting worse and worse. How sin is more rampant today than before. But what we must remember is that as sin grows, God's grace grows also. "My grace is sufficient for you"....sufficient means there is always enough! It never runs out, it never dries up. God's amazing grace is always there waiting and ready to cover our sins. God's amazing grace is ever present. Dip into God's grace today, let it cover us from head to toe. Amazing Grace how sweet the sound! Be Blessed!

2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Romans 5:20-21 (King James Version) 20Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound

Our Father....

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Remember when we were trying to learn to ride our bicycles and our parents would run alongside us with their arms outstretched to catch us in case we fell? Well, that is how our heavenly Father is. When we are learning something new and it is scary and we are unsure....He is right there with his arms outstretched to catch us in case we don't get it right the first time. Imagine Him standing there going....come on you can do it! Remember when we would jump from somewhere high into the arms of the waiting adult? Through their coaxing we could eventually let go, trust them and drop into their arms. Well, that is what our heavenly Father is saying today! Come on....you can do it.....Let go! I will catch you! Don't let fear rob us of the wonderful things He has in store for us! Jump through the fear! Just close your eyes....trust .....hear his voice....and jump! You will be glad you did! Be Blessed!

Don't Just Ride Out The Storm.....Speak To It!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I think it's worth noting that when the big storm came up while the disciples were on the boat; that all it took was for Jesus to say "Peace Be Still", and the storm was gone. Sometimes we forget who is in the midst of our storm. Sometimes we are so busy trying to bat down the house, so to speak, we forget that we just need to call on the peace maker. Instead of getting ready for the storm or trying to ride out the storm, what if we just turned the storm over to the one who can get rid of it. Our God can turn our turbulent storms into quiet peaceful moments. Are you going through a storm this morning? Do you see one brewing on the horizon? Do you feel it brewing somewhere down deep inside you? Speak to it! Call on Jesus the peacemaker and watch the storm disappear! God is so faithful....."We have not because we ask not!" Be Blessed!

Endless Possibilities!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good. We are beginning another week of grand possibilities! Each moment alone has the power to change things in our lives if only we believe. Walking in Faith is a lot like going to our jobs everyday. We get up and go religiously not knowing what the day or the week may bring but with the assurance that we will get paid for our efforts at the end of the pay period. When we walk in faith, we know that although we may not see the rewards right away, we have the promise that it is coming. God gives us that promise! And like our job, we must continue to stay in it no matter what is thrown at us. We can't quit our jobs just because someone was mean to us that day. We can't quit our jobs just because we don't like our bosses or we didn't get the raise we wanted. We must continue on because we know that we will be rewarded on payday. That's what faith is all about..... "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1. Believing that payday is coming! Grab a bucketful of faith today, step out, believe and let God show us endless possibilities! Be Blessed!

He Is The Same....

Good Morning Christan Peeps! Hebrews 13:8 says:   "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever".  What he did years ago, He can do today.  What he does today, He can do tomorrow.  Malachi 3:6:  I am the Lord thy God and I change not!    Understand the power of our God and know that his power never changes.  Whatever we have need of, He can take care of it...if only we can turn the reigns over to him and believe.  Give God a chance to change our lives today.  To work those miracles that we know He can perform.  Let Go, Let God!  Be Blessed!

Do We Live??

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I would rather have lived life to the fullest than simply moved through it as if in a dream! Are we living life or are we just floating and getting by? What has to happen in our lives to wake us up? What has to happen today to make us take notice? What must happen today to make us live? The precious life that we were given was given to us for living not for taking for granted. We are but a vapor, here today and gone tomorrow. How do we want to be remembered? As one who had courage and made his or her world a better place? Or one who stood on the sidelines and just took what came by. Do we want the first fruits or the leftovers? What defines who we are? Let God define us! Let the beautiful and wonderful talents that He has so graciously bestowed on us be manifested today. For we do not know what tomorrow may bring, and we are certainly not promised tomorrow! Be Blessed!

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it. Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it.
-- Mother Teresa

Lean On Me

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  Sometimes in our immense loneliness, we just need someone to lean on.  We don't need a lot of words, but just to know that someone is there for us.  Someone who will take us in their arms and hold us until whatever is hurting goes away.  For humans touch goes along way in soothing our hurts and confusions.  Babies and children most especially need that connection.  Adults tend to move away from that connection as they get older but it's then that we crave it the most.  The Lord said, come to me all you that are heavy laden and I will give you rest.  In other words, rest in me.  Come to me.  I will hold you and comfort you and love you until you are rested and feel strong again.  The song says:  Lean on me, when your not strong, I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on."   That's our Lord today.  Lean on Him, He will give us rest today!  Be Blessed!

Love is....

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  Love is the covering by which we should measure all things.  The Bible says: God is Love. I John 4:8  Whoever does not love, does not know God, because God is love. Love cast out all fear.  Love covers a multitude of sin.  Love the Lord thy God with all thine heart.... Love thy neighbor as thy self.  Love is huge in God's word.  The Beatles sang a song that said:  "All We Need Is Love" .  Love is not measured by the material things we acquire but by the number of times we are forgiven.  Love is not measured by what someone does for us, but by how they treat us.  Love is not earned but freely given.  Love does not control, but allows for adaptability.  Let God's love surrounds us today and teach us what real love is.  Be Blessed!

Thankful And Grateful!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Without sight, we cannot see. Without ears, we cannot hear. Without a nose, we cannot breathe. Without breath we cannot live. There are so many things to be thankful for. We could go on and on naming the wonderful attributes we possess that make our lives easier. Just seeing what other people are lacking that we have, should give us pause to say Thank you Lord! With a thankful and grateful heart, we begin our day. With so much to be thankful for, how can our day go wrong! Take time this morning to be thankful for all the wonderful things God has given us. See how many you can name.....it will make for a great day! God Is So Good! Be Blessed!

Whose Voice Are We Following?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! In John, the Bible talks about the sheep knowing the shepherd's voice and a stranger they will not follow. The question is: Do we know our shepherd's voice? Are we following him? Are we so close to Him that if someone else tries to steal us away...we will recognize that it's not our shepherd? Do we have such a relationship with Him that we can't be pulled away from the fold? We all have that little voice in our head that tell us when we are about to make the wrong decision. How many of us try to rationalize with that voice but later wish we would have made the better choice? The voice that encourages us to do good is our wonderful Shepherd. He is the one who even though he has 99 sheep safe in the fold, he goes looking for that one that is lost! He wants to lead us into a better life. He wants us to see the greener pasture that He has waiting for us! He wants us to follow Him, not go down a path of darkness. What is our voice today? Is it the friend that encourages us to go places we know we shouldn't go or are we listening to our good shepherd who is trying to keep us from harm? Let the Good Shepherd lead us today! Be blessed!

4And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
5And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. John 10:4-5

Got Questions?....He's Got The Answers!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We ask questions everyday. Why this, and why that. We want to know why things work the way they do. Why things happen the way they happen. Man can only tell us so much. There are only so many answers found on this Earth. But we have a heavenly Father that desires us to ask of Him. Call unto me, He says and I will answer thee...but He goes farther.... I will show you great and mighty things...which you didn't know of. It doesn't get any plainer than that. Just as He talked with the men in the Bible, He does talk to us. Sit quietly somewhere today and talk to God, He will answer you. Have a situation? Not sure how to handle it? Go to God! Hurting today....physically, mentally? Go to God! Feeling insignificant? Go to God! He knows, He sees, He cares! Be blessed!

3Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3 (King James Version)

Treasures....

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What are the treasures that we are working toward. Is it a stock portfolio full of investments? Is it that 2nd home in the Hampton's or Florida? Is it retirement so we can travel the world in an R.V. or buy a boat and sail the ocean blue? All of these things are great to have and worth working toward but what happens when our time is up on this Earth? We all know that it will happen. We don't know when but we know it will come. What happens to all these wonderful worldly goods that we have stored up? It's hard to comprehend the after life. It's hard sometimes to even imagine what it will be like. But we know it's there. What are we doing to store up treasures in Heaven? We can do both. We can have great things on this Earth but it's important that we don't forget where we are going when we leave here. It's important that we work for God's Kingdom. It's important that we not only ask God to do things for us but ask Him what we can do for Him. (Ask not what God can do for us, but rather what can we do for God). There are so many people that we can affect on a daily basis. So many hurting people that we can reach out to. So many children that we can influence in a godly way. It's time to go treasure hunting! Let's see how many lives we can affect for God today! Be Blessed!

-- “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Math. 6:19

Ask.....Knock!!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.” – Matthew 7:7-8 Today is a good day to apply this scripture! Be Blessed!

Grace!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2Corinthians 12:9 I quote this scripture numerous times because I know that in my weakness, He is strong for me! I know that when I profess to Him my weakness that He rises up in strength for me! He is my champion! Whenever I feel I am losing a battle, I can call on Him and He helps me to be Victorious. Let God be our champion today. Whatever we have need of, He is faithful to deliver! Be Blessed!

Earthly Vs. Eternal

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  When we seek eternal purpose rather than earthly purpose then our lives become complete.  We have the peace we desire for we are not searching for things that do not last but the things that will last forever.  When we stop gathering material things of this world; when we realize these things cannot go beyond death; when we know and understand that this earthly place is only for a season; then we can focus on the real reason we were put on this earth.  Then and only then can we relax into God's divine calling on our lives.  Today, it does not matter how much money, homes, cars, clothes, friends we have, but rather how much God do we have.  In the end it does not matter what anyone around us thinks, in the end it matters what God thinks.  We cannot take these earthly possessions with us when we pass, so why then do we work so hard to achieve them.  Instead, think not what we can do for ourselves today to gain another dollar but what can we do for God today that will gain us eternal life.  The Bible says.....Matthew 6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.   Once we put Him first, everything else is taken care of.  Be Blessed!

We Are Responsible For Our Own Happiness!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "Happiness grows at our own firesides, and is not to be picked in strangers’ gardens." Douglas Jerrould Sometimes we think it is the responsibility of others to make us happy. At the very least we think if someone else is happy, that we want what they have. But we all have the ability to find the happiness that is within us. We are all capable of creating our own happiness. The more we depend upon ourselves for happiness and less on others, the happier we will be! The less we let things affect us, the less affected we will be. It's all in our hands, so now we can take responsibility for our own happiness. Let God fill us with Joy! It's infective! Be Blessed!

Look Beyond The Trees!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Have you ever been driving along a road and all of a sudden you realize you can see a house or a road or a structure that you haven't seen before? It's like that for me when the leaves begin to fall from the trees. All of a sudden I can see houses that were covered before or a farm that I didn't realize existed. We get so used to just looking right in from of us that we forget there is a giant world around us, just ripe for exploring. There are so many things that we take for granted. When is the last time we looked at the stars and tried to count them. When is the last time we smelled a rose? What has become important to us that really should rest in the background? It's time to look beyond or through the trees and awaken to things that we have just taken for grantedt. It's time to stop and really get a handle on what is important in our lives. "There are always flowers for those who want to see them." Henri Matisse

We see what we are looking for. Be Blessed!

The Storm

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There are several reasons why we experience storms. Temperature changes, tropical depressions....etc. But maybe we need those storms to stir up something that has been dormant too long. Maybe we need changes that wouldn't otherwise be made. Sometimes entire cities have had to be rebuilt. What about the storms in our spiritual life? Maybe we need to be stirred, so that we will turn back to God. Maybe we just need something to be overturned so that we recognize it's there and can remove it. Or maybe we just need to get excited period. When the disciples were in the boat and the storm came...who did they immediately think about? Jesus! Maybe He just wants to stir us up so we will think about Him and call on Him. We can face our storms, recognize what needs to change and change it! Let's make the most of our storms! Be Blessed!

God's Comfort

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Let not our hearts be troubled today, for the God we believe in is our comfort in time of need. God's love surrounds us continually. It is the energy that is vibrant and ever present. It is His love that carries us when we cannot walk. It is His love that holds us when we grieve. It is His love that saves us when we are lost. It is His love that gives us strength when we are so weak. Lean into the peaceful and loving spirit of God today and let Him hold us in the comfort of His arms. Be Blessed.

-- Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me John 14:1

Compassion

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  Throughout the Bible we see God's compassion for people.  He never wanted anyone to go hungry, he heard every cry for healing, and when someone was accused, God had compassion.  Compassion means: a deep awareness of and sympathy for another's suffering.  God has the deepest awareness of our suffering.  He comforts us like no one else can.  His comforts reaches way beyond anything that we can imagine.  Do we have God's compassion?  Do we take the time to feel someone else's pain and suffering?  Let today be one of compassion.  Reach out to someone today that we may not know but may be hurting and let's have compassion.  God's compassion!  Be Blessed!

God Will Fight Our Battles!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!   The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”  Exodus 14:14  The Lord does not require for us to fight our own battles.  Neither by word or by action.  He requires that we let Him fight our battles.  That we hold our peace.  We need only to pray and ask God to take care of a situation and He will!  God was present in many battles in the Bible.  He directed the victorious battles.  We see many times when the people tried to do it their way and they lost.  If there is a war raging around us today, God can bring us victory!  Rely on Him, to fight for us!  Be Blessed!

God's Creation!

Good Afternoon Christian Peeps!  When we recognize the person God created us to be, then we are set free to achieve all that He created us to do! tr  There is a place that we can get in our walk with God, when we know without a shadow of a doubt what is expected of us.   We can see what our character should look like, behave like, and feel like.  It is the peace that comes with understanding.  There are no more questions because we know the answers and we are secure.  Now we are on the upward swing!  Another leg of the race has been accomplished.  Peace, true peace comes with the knowing and the knowing comes from God!  Be Blessed!

It May Be Time To Swim!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  Jonathan Winters said, "If your ship doesn't come in, swim out to meet it."  Sometimes we don't see success in our lives because we maybe caught up in such things as: needing perfection, feeling the need for  permission from someone, waiting for more self confidence, not willing to take a risk, wanting more instructions first, waiting for it to feel right, waiting for the kids to leave home, waiting on luck,  etc... (Jack Canfield).   There can always be excuses or justifications for why we haven't experienced success, but when we get tired of being stuck where we are, then we put on our flippers and head out!   It's time to put all those excuses aside and swim to our success.  Start creating those little goals that will help us get there.  As the song goes...."One Day At A Time".  Be blessed!

He Is Able!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Ephesians 3:20 says, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." God is the power working within us! So with that power working within us, He is able to do exceeding and abundantly above all that we ask or think! Can we see how powerful this is? Pay attention to these crucial words! EXCEEDING, ABUNDANTLY... ABOVE ALL ...that we ASK or THINK!!!! When we can get ourselves wrapped around this we will feel the urge to shout, dance, or just run somewhere! Exceedingly means: to an extreme degree .. Abundantly means: marked by great plenty! Our God is awesome! He wants to bless us today so much so that it will blow our minds!! Let's grab God's promises with an expectant heart! Be Blessed!

--Ephesians 3: 20Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Just How Great Is Our Faith?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I think sometimes about the movies that we see that have all these horrible unbelievable things happening to regular people like me and you and I wonder what would we do if that situation became real. Have we ever stopped to think about situations like that and how we would react? Not many of us has experienced a horrible storm such as a Tsunami or Tornado. Not many of us has experienced armed men coming through our homes, tearing them apart and killing our children. What would we do if that became very real in our lives. What if tomorrow things changed. Where is our faith in God and how strong is that faith? Have we cultivated it? Are we practicing by believing in the small things so when the big things come our faith will have grown? The Bible says that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We will not fear though the earth be removed and the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. Though the waters roar and be troubled and the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. It's time to cultivate our faith, it's time to put that faith to work. It's time to trust God! Be Blessed!

-- “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.” – Psalms 46:1-3 KJV

If We Believe ....Then We Must....

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  If we believe the Bible, then we must believe that if God can deliver the 3 Hebrew children, Shadrach, Meshach and Abegnego from a fiery furnace than He can deliver us from anything we are going through today!  If we believe that God delivered Daniel from the Lions Den, the we have to believe that God can deliver us from any den!  If we believe that God delivered the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, then we must believe that God can set us free as well!  If we believe that God created the Heavens and the Earth, then we must believe that He has created within us abilities to be affective for His Kingdom! And finally, If we believe that God loved His only son, then we Must believe that we also are loved!  Believe that God can do all things and Be Blessed!

Stoke The Fire!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  The question......"How long will a fire burn if left alone"?  Answer:  No one wants to find out!  If the fire burns out our bodies become cold...that is purpose of a fire after all, to heat up or make warm.  It works the same way in our spiritual walk.  If we just go day to day without taking stock of our fire, then eventually it will just burn out.  Eventually, we will begin to wonder what happened to the fire that we used to have.  The passion that used to burn within us.  What happened to that fire that was in our belly's the first time we realized our purpose or the first time we did something that struck a chord in our lives.  Did someone come along and throw water on it.... tell you it wasn't possible.   That your dream was stupid or your passion misplaced?  Well, by now the water should have burned off and we should have just thrown another log on.  Because that passion is what God placed in us to see that His purpose for us is carried out!  Most of us have kept a low burning fire, afraid to let it go too high for fear that someone might see it.  We are comfortable with it making us feel good but not adventurous enough to let it blaze!  It's time we built a burning fire for God.  It's time we let the whole world see our passion in it's complete glory!  It's time that we keep putting those logs on until our passion and warmth overflows into our families lives, our co-workers lives and our friend's lives!  Let's Stoke the Fire today!  Let's show the Devil that we can renew our passion and see our dreams come to fruition!  Be Blessed!

A Champion!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  Jack Dempsey said, "A Champion is one who gets up when he can't".  There are so many times in our lives that we feel we have been knocked out for good.  We are down for the count as they say in the boxing world.  But those moments when we feel we can't make another step, cross another divide, or get up one more time, are the moments where destiny meets who we really are.  Those are the moments that define what we are made of.  Those are the moments that predict if we are truly champions or if we are quitters....losers.  A champion gets back up even when every bone and muscle in his body is screaming in pain....when he probably can't see out of one eye and the other hurts too bad to focus!  A champion is one who when gets the wind knocked out of him....he simply grasped for more air and keeps going!  Champions are winners because they simply do not quit!  Are we champions today?  Do we have that burning desire to succeed and keep going no matter what?  Can we push through whatever is trying to stop us in our path?  Yes we can!   And Yes we are!  With God all things are possible.  He is truly the wind beneath our wings.  He is the imaginary arm that helps us up.  Be Blessed today Mighty Champions!

Forgive To Change The Future!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes to extend forgiveness is hard, sometimes it may seem simple. It depends on the circumstances I suppose....but maybe we just need to change the way we look at forgiveness. Forgiveness is not for the person who hurt us or committed an act against us, forgiveness changes us. Forgiveness releases us from what could be a prison of our own making. Unforgiveness stands in the way of our future and keeps us stuck in the past. Unforgiveness robs us of joy, happiness, excitement and from accomplishing great things. It wraps us in bars that only allows us to watch the world as it passes us by. Forgiveness is the door that when extended, swings open wide to endless possibilities! Let us move beyond the past, forgive those hurts that have taken up camp in our lives and jump with great expectation into our grand future! Be Blessed!

-- When you forgive, you in no way change the past - but you sure do change the future. Bernard Meltzer

When Commitment Is Not Enough!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is commitment, but in the course of that commitment there has to be growth. It has to evolve, move, progress. "When Commitment Is Not Enough!" These words popped into my head this morning and I went searching for what they meant. Commitment is a good thing but when that commitment does not evolve as we evolve or grow as we grow in Christ or in our relationships, then it becomes stale. Just as a business plan must evolve as the business grows so should our commitment to God, family, spouses, children and friends. If we try to operate under our old commitment in our new growth phase we will become frustrated, unfulfilled and likely have several setbacks. Sometimes it's imperative that we shake the dust off the old commitment, reevaluate where we are and write a new commitment for ourselves, for our walk with God and our relationships. By doing this we are progressing! We are growing! We are evolving into who we need to be! It's time to re-write our commitments! Be Blessed!

-- And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among all God's set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of soul).

Acts 20: 32

What Are We Holding Onto?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Throughout numerous places in the Bible, God's people found themselves holding onto dreams, expectations, or material things that had nothing what-so-ever to do with God's original plan. They wanted what God wanted but also wanted it the way they wanted.....couldn't they just add this part or take away this part? What could it hurt? What difference would it make? Well, in God's plan it makes a huge difference, in fact it hinders what God is trying to accomplish in our lives. We don't get to rearrange God's plan to suit our needs and wants. Because we can't see the future or the past, we can't see how making even the smallest changes to God's plan can have a devastating affect. People lost their lives in the Bible when they tried to take matters into their own hands. What are we holding onto today that may be interfering in what God has planned for us? Is it a dream, expectation or something material that we think will make all the difference? God knows what is best for us! He knows what the outcome should be. Again, this is where the trust comes in ....the faith.....walking it out! Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5 In today's words.......God's got this! Be blessed!

-- Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

Walk With A Purpose!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  When we are walking in a crowd, we can always spot the people who are proceeding with a purpose.  They are moving at a faster speed and stepping around anyone who gets in their way!  They know where they are going, how they are going to get there and what time they need to be there!  This is walking with a purpose and people tend to move out of their way.  That's what we can do with our spiritual walk as well.  Just start walking with a purpose and the way will open up!  We would be surprised to see that if we just make up our minds and go....that the way would become clear and open up!   Let's proceed with a purpose today...it's high time!  Be Blessed!

We Have Exactly What We Think About!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) ~ For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. We often wonder why we continue to have negative things happen to us. Why we can't seem to have that job we want or career. Why we can't find that perfect mate, or live in that great house.... Well, the answer is that what we think about the most is what we get. If we are constantly worried about our finances, then we will get reasons to worry about our finances because that is what we are thinking about. If we worry about anything and keep our minds set on that, then how can we expect good things to come our way. The Bible says think on the good things....and God also says that if we worry we obviously do not trust Him to take care of our problems. We are supposed to cast our cares on Him, think on the good things...meditate on them which is a continual process, delight ourselves in Him and He will give us the desires of our heart. Now, I don't know about you but I think this is a formula for paying attention to what we are thinking about all day and change it! And Yes, we can change it because we do have control over our thoughts! Let's quit letting Satan keep us from getting all that God wants us to have! Pay attention to what we are thinking about today and when a negative thought comes in Rebuke it and replace it with a positive one! We are blessed of God!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.Philippians 4:8

casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. I Peter 5:7

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.Psalm 37:4

Free!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Gathering around the flag pole today for prayer, reminded me of the freedoms we are so blessed to have. I can't seem to get it out of my head. I looked up the word free and there were so many definitions...but this is the one I chose... 1. made, done, or given voluntarily or spontaneously. We as Americans have so many freedoms that we sometimes take them for grant it... I know I do! But think about that word for a moment! Free!!! When we look at history it just means so much! We are released from whatever bondage has in the past wrapped itself around us. Not only are we politically free but because of Jesus Christ we are spiritually free! Free to love one another, free to worship how we want, free to own businesses, free to read our bibles, free to congregate. We are free! No one or no thing should have us bound today. If someone feels bound or oppressed today, they can go before our Lord and He will set them free!! My prayer is that everyone embraces this word.....let it sink into our hearts and let us no longer sit back and let someone else try to keep us bound or take away the precious freedoms that are ours! Let it be our priority as former President Jimmy Carter stated.....peace, freedom, democracy, human rights, benevolent sharing, love, the easing of human suffering, .....freedom of religion, freedom of worship, we could go on and on! Be Blessed, because we are Free!

-- We will have an unchallenged, open, panoramic opportunity on a global scale to demonstrate the finest aspects of what we know in this country: peace, freedom, democracy, human rights, benevolent sharing, love, the easing of human suffering. Is that going to be our list of priorities or not?

There Is Great Victory!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  Psalm 71:20-21  Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once again.  Even though we may have experienced trouble....many and bitter....(which in the process caused us to grow) He will restore us after the trouble.  He will raise us up in victory!  He will increase our honor and comfort us again!  There is victory for someone out there this morning.  I saw this word in prayer and wondered what it meant....but now I feel that it is meant for someone who has been struggling.. God wants you to know that victory is yours for the taking.  Let me remind us that when we put God first....He takes care of everything else!  Be Blessed!

Think Before We React!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We were fortunate enough to hear John Maxwell live in St. Louis this weekend. This is one of his quotes and it's so true. Life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. John Maxwell

It is so important that we think before we react. If we take a moment and just pause before we respond to an email, letter, or verbal confrontation, we would be amazed at the outcome. If we can purposely choose to pause, think love, and then respond; we will respond in a way that instead of making things worse, will improve the situation. I like to take a moment and pray before responding. That is a sure fire way to respond in the right way. The spirit way, not the flesh way! Let's be mindful of Satan's tricks..... and respond accordingly! Be Blessed!

It's So Simple...

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes we make things so hard when in reality they are so simple. The decisions we make have more than likely have been processed from every angle before we finally, if at all, decided to do something. Why? Because we are afraid that we will make the wrong decision. When in reality if we had just gone with our "gut" or instinct that God placed in us we could have made the decision a lot sooner and with a lot happier, more confident heart! God knows the plans that He has for us....plans to prosper us and not harm us, to give us hope and a future.... God already has and knows the plans for us, so really all He needs us to do is listen for our direction. Watch for the doors, be in prayer so we can be sensitive to His spirit. Let Him do the leading, just listen to our instinct that He placed inside us as our spiritual GPS. Follow Christ today! Be Blessed!

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.-

The Lord Is Close...

Good Morning Christian Peeps! This email reaches out to a lot of people. For those of you who have experienced a loss recently, including my family down south, this is for you! I love this scripture because it speaks to me. Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. When we are so crushed from grief and feel so brokenhearted, we have to remember that God is so close to us. He carries us when we feel we might not be able to take another step. He reaches beyond the grief and holds us in a place that protects us until we can come to terms with it. He understands our human need to hold on, but he assures us that the spirit is there to comfort us and help us with the transition. He saves us from receding into a dark place never to return. He is the love that pulls us back to the light and helps us to learn to live without our loved one present. He is an ever present help in time of trouble! He is our Lord and Savior! Thank you Lord for being there always! Be Blessed!

Turn It On!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  Yesterday, I could not send out a Christian Peeps because I couldn't get the Internet to connect.  We have the new Hotspot and we have only been using it a few weeks.  So imagine my frustration when all of a sudden it wouldn't connect.  I tried everything and finally gave up and called technical support.  To my embarrassment, I realized that the new laptops have a wireless button that must be turned on in order for it to read any wireless connection.  The guy on the phone helping me asked me to reset the hotspot, it was at that exact moment I realized the wireless button was turned off....so I thanked him for helping me and quickly got off the phone.  This morning I got to thinking....how does this relate to our walk with God.  Well, if we leave the house without ever turning on our direct line to God, without ever touching base with Him first, how can we expect things to go right during the day.   When we stay connected we can at any moment send up a prayer, search for wisdom, ask for forgiveness, ect.   When we stay connected, we can search Heaven for the right way to conduct ourselves in any given situation. Most importantly of all, when we stay connected we can feel God's love with us always!  Remember... Turn It On! Be Blessed!

In Our Weakness, He Is Made Strong!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We will always have seasons of struggles and testing. There are times when everything we attempt to do will seem to go wrong. The Lord has a purpose in not allowing us to be fruitful all the time. These periods destroy our pride in our own ability and reinforce our dependency on the sufficiency of our God. T.D. Jakes Be Blessed!

" And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

2 Corinthians 12:9

He Has Faith In Us!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Have faith in God; God has faith in you. Edwin Louis Cole God has faith in us! He believes we can accomplish anything through Him! He tells us so! Throughout time, He has anointed and appointed different ones to carry out His work....why? Because He knew the potential that was placed in each one. Just like He knows the potential that is in each of us! We can do all things through Christ which strengthens us! Philippians 4:13 Have Faith in God today! Be Blessed!

He Will Not Leave Us Nor Forsake Us!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. We can all use these words today. No matter what we are facing today, God encourages us to be strong, have courage, do not be afraid, for He is with us and He will never leave us! What comforting words today! Sometimes we don't realize just how committed God is to watching over us and keeping us! The Bible is a constant reminder of his encouragement and instructions for us. He wants us to be successful in all we do and He gives specific instructions on how to do that. Look in the word today and find just what is needed! Be Blessed!

Lest We Forget The Goodness Of God!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Lest we forget the goodness of God...Psalm 103 God is so good! Just reading this today makes my heart jump for joy! In case we were wondering today....God Is Always There.....giving us .... I love this part!...lovingkindness and tender mercies! Be Blessed today!

Bless the Lord, O my soul;
and all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul
and forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Peace!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27) Peace is ours for the taking. He specifically says, not as the world giveth but his peace. We are not to be troubled neither or we to be afraid! I pray peace for all of us today! May the Lord cover us with his kindess today! Be Blessed!

Keep It Simple!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Life is simple. Most of us have mastered making it very complex. By avoiding, attempting to control, hide, run from, pretend, we have made life a series of complex situations. Is life just that way or has it come to be that way from the choices and decisions we have made? Now, simply -- we get to love it all... ...and choose again...

What a great saying! Think about the choices we make each day. Are we trying to make them more complicated than they really are? Are we reading too much into what is going on? Are blowing things out of proportion? Think simply today! If it seems to much to handle then give it to God! He knows just what to do! Be Blessed!

All Things Work For Good!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose

.. Romans 8:28. This scripture uplifts me so much and I hope it helps someone today. The Bible tells us that all things work together for good! All things! So, now let's let God work all things good for us today. Trust in Him. Let our Faith flow and let God show us what He has in store for us! Be Blessed!

He Hears Us!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” – 1 John 5:14-15 KJV-- He does hear us! Thank you Lord for hearing us! Be Blessed!

Take It To Jesus!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! This quote today presented me with a wonderful image of just shaking off all my cares and turning to God where his love and light shines brighter than the sun! Imagine just going to God and stretching out your arms with your heavy load and giving it over to Him! All of it! Just hand it over to Him and let him take care of it all! He is standing there waiting for us to come to Him. Be Blessed!

He who climbs above the cares of this world, and turns his face to his God, has found the sunny side of life.

Hear My Cry!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I found this scripture twice this morning and decided maybe God wanted us to know that: when our hearts are overwhelmed, he will lead us to a rock that is higher than we are... he is our shelter and a strong tower from our enemy. He hears our cry and he rescues us! No matter what we may be going through today, God is faithful to hear us and deliver us. All we have to do is lift up our voices to him! Be Blessed!

“Hear my cry, O Lord; attend unto my prayer. From the ends of the Earth, will I cry unto Thee, for when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For Thou has been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.” Psalms 61: 1-3

Live!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Are we living, really living our lives? Are we reaching our potential? Or are we just living safe, hoping to just survive? We wonder why our lives are not more exciting, why we can't seem to get to our dreams. How many times have we taken a risk. How many times have we thrown caution to the wind? We can't expect great things if we don't take great risks. It's just not how it works. Live today, we are not promised tomorrow! Be blessed!

Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity. They seem more afraid of life than death.

Children!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! This Christian Peeps is dedicated to our children. I think we get so caught up sometimes in working and doing that we forget what is most important to our children. It's not the things we buy them, or the kids we let them play with, the trips we work so hard so they can go on - that matter so much! But it's the times we wrap our arms around them and squeeze them until they feel the love. It's the times we stop and look deep into their eyes and give them a life lesson that could literally save their lives. It's the moral compass that we labor so hard to bestow because we know that it's what will deter them from evil. It's the trips to church not because the trips matter but because the love of God should mean more than anything else. Today, we should hug them harder, love them smarter, and realize that we are the example they immulate on a daily basis. We are the teacher of love and empathy. We shape their lives and that is the most important job we have as parents! Be Blessed!

There are only two lasting bequests we can give our children — one is roots, the other wings.

Where Is Our Vision?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Proverbs says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish". What has happened to our vision. Remember when we were young and we had such high hopes and dreams? Remember when we told anyone who would listen what we would be when we grew up! What happened. When did we throw our dreams away? When did we give up? It's time to take our dreams back out of the closet and and put them out there again! It's time to quit listening to the nay sayers and start living what we know has been placed within us! God doesn't tell us we can't do it....so why do we listen to anyone else? Do they know more than God? I think not! It's time now to bring our vision to the forefront and began to live!! Be Blessed!

We Can Be Happy!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! If you want to be happy, be!! What a simple statement but so true! We do control our happiness. "There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way!" Tao te ching We can be happy. It first takes seeing happiness in your mind and then letting it take over your body! See it and be it! Be Blessed!

What Direction Are We Going In?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What directions are we going in today? What direction have we been going in? If we are thinking of past mistakes or situations in the past then we are not going forward. When we think of the future we are moving forward not living in the past. Pay attention to where our thoughts go. What does our mind dwell on? Are we sidestepping our future, avoiding things, sleeping..... In order to move forward we must think forward. Lot's wife in the Bible was told to leave Sodom and not look back or she would turn into a pillar of salt. But she just couldn't do it. She couldn't move forward to the future God had planned, she needed one more look at her past and she was captured that way...looking back. Let's not do that today. Let's not keep looking back and staying stuck in our past. Let's look forward and move to our future that God has planned for us! Be Blessed!

The great thing in the world is not so much where we stand as in what direction we are moving.

Ten Speeds!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Life is like a ten-speed bike. Most of us have gears we never use. Charles Schultz I really like this quote. Sometimes it's hard just to find the gears much less use them. But it is possible to reach outside what we have been doing and try something else. It is a matter of moving past the fear and trying something new. Most of the basics of what we do today started with a fear of trying.....learning how to walk, learning to ride a bike, going to school for the first time, learning to drive. But we accomplished those just fine. Look at these new speeds as just that, a temporary fear. It won't last and the benefits are amazing! Be Blessed!

Fight One More Round!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Just when we think we can't stand under the pressures of life. When we think we have come to the end of trying. When we feel completely exhausted from the battle. When our weapons are in disrepair. When all seems lost...... FIGHT ONE MORE ROUND! No one becomes a champion unless they are willing to go all the way to the end. How sad would it be to know that had we only gone another round we would be the winner! Don't quit! We are too close! Be Blessed!

To become a champion, fight one more round.

We Must Show Up!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The main ingredient in being successful is showing up! We can't expect to get a job if we don't fill out an application or show up for the interview. We can't expect to be healthy if we don't eat properly and exercise. Sometimes we must show up in order to for things to happen for us! If we don't like our circumstances we are the only ones who can change them! Make a pact today to get up and show up! Life can be all we expect it to be if we participate in it! Be Blessed!

With Ugly Thorns Comes Beautiful Roses!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Yes, we would all love to sail through life on a magic carpet, eating bon bons and having someone meet our every need and whim.....however.....to obtain wisdom, to obtain higher knowledge..to know life and learn lessons the way we should...we must experience some heartache, pain, confusion, exhaustion, frustration. With all of these things we gain a different level and really learn who we are! That is the purpose of our journey here on this earth! With the thorns comes beautiful roses! Be Blessed!

Of course it would be easier to get to paradise with a full stomach, all snuggled up in a soft feather-bed, but what is required is to carry one's cross along the way, for the Kingdom of God is not attained by enduring one or two troubles, but many!

Don't Think, Just Act!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We are braver than we believe, stronger than we seem, and smarter than we think! It's True! Only in unique situations do we surprise ourselves by rising to the occassion! It happened because we just acted without thinking.... Sometimes our thinking gets in the way of our actions and keeps us from making any moves. Let's go for it today. When you feel that urge...go with it...don't think ...just act! Be blessed!

Seize The Moment!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so wonderful! Life is good when we realize just how blessed we really are. It's true that when we stop and count our blessings it changes the way we view the world around us! It changes us when we realize that- but for the grace of God, where we could be in relation to where we are. Life is an opportunity for us to live! I like the saying, either get busy living or get busy dieing. Start today, seize the moment and really began to live. Be Blessed!

that life is an opportunity rather
than an obligation.

Teamwork!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! It truly is about teamwork! We can't always accomplish things by ourselves! It is more efficient to have a team working with us. Like any sport, it takes everyone working together to win the game! Sometimes we forget that it is important to have a group or team of people around us that encourage us, motivate us, and push us to where we need to be. So when we feel we must go it alone remember, God intended us to seek counsel, surround ourselves with important decision makers. Today is the day to become a team and accomplish our dream! Be Blessed!

Spring Into Action!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Without action we can't expect to move forward. In order to walk, we must take a step. In order to swim, we must first get into the water! We can dream all day long, but if we don't put that dream into action, we can't expect to see it fulfilled. Let's spring into action today! Move....move...move! Be Blessed!

Can't never could......

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "Can't never could, nor would but you should."tr Can't is a powerful word if you let it become a part of your belief system. It can rob us of every wonderful opportunity. Just because someone else may not think we are not capable, doesn't make it true. They may be projecting their fear onto us! Take the word can't out and replace it with can, and began to move forward. Be Blessed!

The Mystery....

Good Morning Christian Peep! If we could remove the mystery of life, then life as we know it would not exist. For it is the mystery that keeps us coming back again and again. It is the mystery that keeps us interested. In the off chance that tomorrow is the day that we finally understand all that has been hidden from us. Like a good book or movie we want to know how it all ends. I daresay that is the hope instilled within us. So don't be discouraged by the mystery it is after all what keeps us living another hour, day, week....... Be Blessed!

Simpe Truth....

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "The world is a great and mysterious place, and it contains within it all the possibilities that our hearts can conceive. If we incline our hearts toward the darkness, we will see the darkness. If we incline them toward the light, we will see the light. Life is but a dream we renew each day. It is up to us to infuse this dream with light, and to cultivate, as best we are able, the ways and habits of love!" Kent Nerburn   I am a firm believer in looking up not down, embracing light not darkness, loving instead of hating, believing instead of doubting. Choosing positive rather than negative is a vital part of the choosing. Be Blessed!

Keep Trying!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When the world says, “Give up,” Hope whispers, “Try it one more time.” Author Unknown I love this! So many times I feel like just giving up, but something urges me to keep going no matter how bleak my situation may look! It's that God given hope and faith that he places in us from the beginning! So, if you are feeling down and hopeless and wondering what you are going to do! Well, the answer to that is look up, grab some faith, and get trying again! After all that really is what life is all about! Trying continually until that moment when you are surprised that it finally worked! Don't Give Up Hope! Be blessed!

Chase It!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Gentlemen, we are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we will not catch it, because nothing is perfect. But we are going to relentlessly chase it, because in the process we will catch excellence. I am not remotely interested in just being good. Vince Lombardi Run, Chase it....do not let it get away! Because without the chase, what do we have? Be Blessed!

Don't Hold Your Foot On The Brake!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We can't drive a car with one foot on the gas and one foot on the brake. It won't go anywhere, the wheels just spin. Neither can we keep one foot on the gas and one on the brake in our lives. We must let go of the brake and just go forward, just live. Just trust and we will find our way. Don't hold the brake down, for when we do there are so many things we are missing out on. Be Blessed!

Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?

Don't Look Back!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The Bible talks about putting our hands to the plow and not looking back. This simply means that when we commit to something we must put everything we have into it and not doubt, don't quit, just keep plowing along! Eventually we will see the results of our hard labor! Sometimes this is really hard, but that is part of the trusting process! Let Go and Let God! Be Blessed!

"No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." -Jesus (Lk 9:62)

A New Song!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! This part of the scripture came to me this morning....."Sing unto the Lord a new song!" Well, in order to sing a new song we must first realize what song we have been singing. Are we singing songs of praise unto the Lord or songs of complaint and discontent? Are we singing happy songs or sad songs? It's just something to consider. If we have been in the mullygrubs then it's time to lift up our heads, lift up our voices and sing unto the Lord a New Song! Let's let his praises ring today, for He is so good! Be Blessed!

God Is Bigger!

Good Afternoon Christian Peeps! I saw this quote and thought I would pass it along but with a change.... God is bigger than anything that can happen to us! He is our protector. All of our sorrows, misfortunes and suffering we just need to lay at his door! He is our house and he is the key! Be Blessed!

I am bigger than anything that can happen to me. All these things, sorrow, misfortune, and suffering, are outside my door. I am in the house and I have the key.

Use What We Have

Good Morning Christian Peeps! It's a shame when I hear someone say, "Oh you don't want me to sing... I can't sing as good as you...." Sometimes being the best singer, or preacher, or piano player ....we could go into basketball, football etc isn't what counts...it's what we do with what we have that makes a difference. When it comes purely from the heart....whatever we do can make the Angels stop in their tracks. I have a sister who doesn't think she has the best voice but every time I hear her sing... my heart is flooded with love.... She sings from such a pure place and puts everything she has into it...that I imagine the Angels cry from Joy when she lifts up her voice! We are to take what God has given us and use it to the best of our ability. We never know when something we think is mmediocre may be just what someone else feels is exceptional. Be Blessed

We Already Have What We Need To Succeed!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Short Story....A man wanted to be a professional golfer all his life but instead of following his dream he got married, took a job and stayed in that job for 23 years until they fired him. Faced with disappointment about his life...he decides to take a chance and try out for the Senior tour. He scored 69 for 3 days and when the last day came he needed a 68 to qualify in the top 8 for the tour. Going into the last hole it was very possible but he hit a bad shot and ended up shooting a 69. He left the course and went to the tent feeling like he had totally blown his one chance at doing what he loved. Twenty minutes went by and he expected to hear the names of the top 8. All of a sudden he heard the man next to him say that the last 3 golfers had hit their drives out of bounds thereby disqualifying for the tour...this meant his 69 was enough to put him on the tour. The moral? 1. It's never too late to follow our dreams. 2. God has to close one door before he can open another one. 3. We already have what we need to succeed. The 69 was enough...he didn't need the 68 he was striving for! Stop striving for excellence when we already have God's perfection! Be Blessed!

Adjust The Sails!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails. How true. We may not have complete control over all things but the things we do have control over we should concentrate on making better. Sometimes it just takes a little adjustment to make a big difference. Be blessed!

Don't Give Up On Dreams!!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I thought this was worth sharing today. Don't Give Up On Dreams!!!

It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting......Before a dream is realized, the Soul of the World tests everything that was learned along the way. It does this not because it is evil, but so that we can, in addition to realizing our dreams master the lessons we have learned as we have moved toward that dream. That's the point at which most people give up.... [At this point] Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of search is a second's encounter with God and with eternity.

A New Ending!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We aren't able to go back and begin our lives again, but we are able to start today and create a new ending. Sometimes we might start over 5 times in one day but at least we have the heart to try again. We must never lose hope that although today may not have gone the way we planned, tomorrow we can try and try again. It's the not quitting that sets us apart. It's the craving of finally succeeding that stops the failure. We can have a new ending. We can rewrite it and make it happen. Let's start again today.....it's a new day. Be Blessed!

Ride The Storm!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "Skillful pilots gain their skill and reputation by flying through storms and tempests". So when we are wondering why we are going through such hardships, remember that only through these hard times can we gain experience, stability, and skill. I like to think that when you are going through a storm it's so you can become a master at helping others through their storms. We can't accept the job without gaining the knowledge and experience we need. We don't know the future but we can prepare for it. Just ride the storms and know that you are just getting ready for something new! Be Blessed!

Why Do We Doubt?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Even when the storm was raging all around Peter and the disciples, God was there in the midst of that storm. When Peter cried out to him, God came through. Another time when Peter was out in a boat, he looked up and saw a man on the water and became scared. Peter ask, "Lord is that you?, and the Lord answered, "Oh, ye of little faith, why did you doubt?" He is there in the storm with us and is doing a work right in the midst of that storm. So don't doubt but trust and ride the storm through....because it's only through bad situations that we experience good outcomes! How else would we know the power of God? Be Blessed!

The Wisdom To Know The Difference!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. -- Reinhold Niebuhr

This quote really says it all for me. There are some things that we cannot change. There are some that we can...but having the wisdom to know the difference... now that is the hard part. So God, today grant us the wisdom to know which things we need to change and which ones we need to accept. Amen! Be Blessed!

Life Is Precious!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We only live once. During the down days, if you choose to keep in mind that you probably have more chances than others, more things to be thankful for than others, and more time to live on this Earth than others, you'd be reminded that your life is indeed very precious. Sunshine From Above!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "I looked out my window and what did I see, a lovely ray of sunshine as bright as could be. I thanked the Lord for sending it my way, and for letting me have another day. He wrapped his arms around me and offered me his love. He said whatever you need my child, I can send it from above. I smiled and relaxed cause I knew all would be well.  What a great way to start the day, now others I must tell." tr

LIve Life....Don't Sleep Walk Through It!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We must learn to really live life. So many times we go through the motions and wonder why we are not happy with our life. It's because we are afraid to live! We are afraid to take chances because long ago someone told us we shouldn't. We are afraid to step out and be something because someone told us we couldn't. Well, what does God say we can do? He is the one who created us and placed all of those wonderful gifts inside us! What does He say? Have we consulted him lately or do we choose to listen to our friends who may not even know all the wonderful things that we know God has placed in us! Take a chance today. Ask God what He would like to see us do for him. He will show us how to live a more fulfilled and abundant life! Be Blessed!

I promise to keep on living as though I expected to live forever. Nobody grows old by merely living a number of years. People grow old only by deserting their ideals. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up interest wrinkles the soul.

Stop And Smell The Roses!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Never think that God’s delays are God’s denials. Hold on; hold fast; hold out. Patience is genius. Georges-Louis Leclere De Buffon We must take a look around us at the wonderful things that came out of patience. We now have technology that makes our life much easier but I dare say it did not come at the drop of a hat. Electricity was born through shear will and patience. I bet some of us would have given up on it long before it took shape. We now have cures for diseases that have taken years to develop. Why then do we think that our life should develop quickly? Just because things are done quickly doesn't mean it's necessarily better. Sometimes there are way more mistakes made by trying to be quick than by taking our time. God has his own time. Look at how slowly nature develops and changes right under our noses. Our lives are the same. God has a plan. The bet thing we can do is get out of his way. Slow down today! Stop and literally smell the roses, they will be gone before we know it. Be Blessed!

God Cares For Us!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Here is another scripture that proves just how much God cares for us. Psalm 113:5-9 says: Who can be compared with the Lord our God, who is enthroned on high? Far below him are the heavens and the earth. He stoops to look, and he lifts the poor from the dirt and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, even the princes of his own people! He gives the barren woman a home, so that she becomes a happy mother. In God's eyes, a person's value has no relationship to his or her wealth or position on the social ladder. Most of the people that were annointed and used of God started at a low status. God cares about who we are, how we feel and he sees our heart. So in case you wondered today if anyone cares for you.......God does! Be Blessed!

Wherever We Are....

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I think we forget sometimes that wherever we are God is There! I remember as a child when my Mom or Grandmother would say "watch out, God sees you!" It was meant to be a warning and it did make me pause and think about what I was doing, if God was watching. But now, it is a comfort to know that no matter where I am, there he is! Just like yesterday's peeps... he is constantly watching over us. Always loving us and trying to protect us although that part is tricky since he seems to care for us sometimes more than we care for ourselves. We only need to acknowledge he is there to reap the benefits of his presence. Today "when you are feeling all alone, breathe in and out and you will know.... God is There!"

Be Blessed!

The Lord Is our Keeper!

Good Afternoon Christian Peeps! The Lord is our keeper! He promises in Psalms 121 that he will watch over us always! 5 The LORD is thy keeper:  the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
So in case anyone today was wondering if the Lord had their back....wonder no more! He does! Be Blessed!

How Long Can We Wait?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! How long can we wait until what God has promised us will come through? Well, Moses and the children of Israel waited 40 years before they saw their promise. Davis was anointed King at a small age but had to wait for years until he could move into that role. And Sarah! Let's not forget that Sarah had to wait a long time before she saw the promise of a baby. We all have a promise from God. We all want our promise to happen yesterday. But the reality is, God knows the right time when this should all take place... and yes patience is the name of the game. We should all pray for the faith of Abraham.... he trusted God so much that he actually took a big ole knife, took his son Isaac and was going to sacrifice him as God had asked... He went all the way through the motions... God let him get the knife in the air before he stopped him! Can we have that much faith that we will go to the edge of the cliff and trust that if we jumped that God would catch us? I pray for that much faith today! I know in my heart that God will prevail..no matter what the Devil tries to tell me, I know my God is faithful! Be Blessed!

In Our Weakness...

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "I am careful not to confuse excellence with perfection. Excellence, I can reach for; perfection is God's business." So many times we expect more of ourselves then even the people around us and our Savior who created us. We want so desperately to be strong and perfect and never make a mistake. But God says in our weakness He is made strong. It's okay to not be perfect and it's okay to be weak. For it's at that moment when we realize that we need help that God can take over and lead. Who is leading us today? Be Blessed

Do We Know Our Shepherd?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! In John 10:14 Jesus said "I know my sheep and my sheep know me." Sheep know their shepherds' voice and they will not follow anyone but him. But the main subject here is, Do we know our Shepherd? Do we know and recognize him, do we know his voice and when he is speaking to us? If we don't have a relationship with our Shepherd then we won't be able to follow him. We won't be able to hear his voice when he speaks to us and tries to lead us. We need to get to know our Shepherd today, so that he can lead us away from danger. When we know him, we can hear him and he can hear us. Be Blessed!

What Is Our Relationship With Ourselves?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When is the last time we evaluated our relationship with ourselves? If we don't have a good relationship with ourselves than we can't possibly have relationships with others. Without loving ourselves, we can't love others. If we don't respect ourselves, we can't respect others. If we don't like spending time with ourselves than how can we like spending time with others. It starts at home first. We can learn to love ourselves and respect ourselves and spend time with ourselves. Through Christ, all things are possible. We can achieve a good relationship with ourselves and thus have great relationships outside ourselves. We can ask God today to help us to love ourselves! Be Blessed!

Where Are We Going?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! If we have ever taken a trip we know that at some point we must consult a map, whether it be the atlas book or now map quest on the Internet. We have to decide what we will take on our trip. Decide how long we are going to stay and approximately how much money we will need to spend on this trip. There is lots of planning involved when taking any trip and if it is not prepared for properly then it can be very frustrating. What if two people are involved in the planning of this trip? And they have very different ideas about how this trip should go? One might want to go to an island while the other just wants to go skiing. This could pose a big problem! They might not take a trip at all if they can't come together and decide. Well, that's how it is sometimes in our christian journey. We have one trip in mind while our father has already planned the ultimate trip for our lives. But we spend so much time fighting him on the details that we don't really get to go anywhere. Because we can't surrender our will we end up stuck in the same place. God has already planned where we need to go. He knows exactly what he has placed in our lives that will accomplish what he has chosen for us. But he has a hard time executing it when we block him at every turn. We think we know what is best for us, when in actuality we can't possibly know. Today is the day to surrender our will to his. Let's let him take us on the ultimate trip of our lives. Let's finally arrive where he has been wanting to take us! Be Blessed!

I Can't Even Walk, Without You Holding My Hand!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is an old hymnal that keeps coming to my mind. It simply says, "Lord, I Can't Even Walk Without You Holding My Hand." Sometimes we feel like we just can't go on. That life's burden is just too hard to bear. Well, it's at that moment that we need to grab a hold of a lifeline. And Jesus is our lifeline. He can hold our hand and hold us up through the rough patches. He doesn't promise there won't be hard times but He promises that He will be there and walk through them with us. We all know the poem, "Foot prints in the sand". When we see one set of footprints that is when He is carrying us. Realize that God is carrying us today. Let Him bear the weight of our burdens. Lean on Him! Be Blessed!

Be Patient With Ourselves!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We can't always get it right! We have to be patient with ourselves. We need to forgive ourselves and love ourselves. We need to encourage ourselves. David in the Bible encouraged himself. Sometimes we don't have a lot of encouragement around us...so we have to be strong and encourage ourselves. This too shall pass...tomorrow is a different day.... so take it easy today..... It's all good! Be Blessed!

"Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them -- every day begin the task anew."

What Are We Carrying?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What burdens are we carrying around this morning. The Lord said in Matthew 11:28-30 ...Come to me!...all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest! So why are we still carrying those heavy burdens? They have weighted us down long enough. Why are we still trying to walk with with our burdens still hanging on us? All we have to do is give them to the Lord and He will give us rest...peace....He will take care of the burden. Someone this morning is feeling their burden heavier than normal. The Lord is saying to you this morning....Come To Me!! Give them to me!! And I will give you rest! Rest in Him this morning! Be Blessed!

Beyond Belief!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! If people behave in such a way that you find it almost impossible to accept that they actually did it, then you can say that their behaviour was beyond belief. Realizing that God can do things that are impossible for us to believe is where we need to be in order to see miracles occur. We must take believing to a whole new realm to experience the amazing. Believe in the amazing today! What do we have to lose? Nothing! We have everything to gain! Be Blessed!

Believe It To See It!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "When your sense of worth exceeds your conditions, conditions will shift to match your vision!" Alan Cohen. We must first believe that something is possible before it can be possible! Shift our perceptions to what we want them to be and everything around us will begin to shift to that belief. We will stay where we are if we believe that where we are is the only possibility. We must believe in where we want to be before we can get there! So Believe! Be Blessed!

Turn Blunders Into Great Moments!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. Ralph Waldo Emerson This is so true, forget the moments that are forgettable and remember the moments that are memorable! Make true memories today. If we focus on each moment, we are less likely to have blunders than we are great actions! Be Blessed!

Love is....

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I just love how when you want to know what God thinks about a certain subject, you can just go to the word and it is there. I Corinthians chapter 13 is my favorite scripture. It tells us just what love looks like and acts like. I guess the best part of the whole verse is "Love never fails".... what a powerful statement. Love hopes all things....believes all things....endures all things....love is kind!....love does not envy....is not puffed up.....is not rude....rejoices in the truth.... Love is amazing! Be Blessed!

......Love suffers long [and] is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails...... I Corinthians 13:
