God Is Our Hiding Place!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so amazing! Thou [art] my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. Psalm 32:7. I can remember as a child playing hide and seek. Some of the hiding spots I chose felt safe, and some not so much. God is our hiding place today.... He has the safest place we can go when we need to be rescued from trouble. And while you are in that hiding place, He will compass about you with songs of deliverance! Not only does He provide the safe place but He gives us tools for deliverance from whatever we are hiding from. May we hide in Him Today! Be Blessed!

God Exists Unquestionably!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is indubitable...meaning: too evident to be doubted : unquestionable. As Christian's we believe that God exists. As the meaning of the word indubitable says....He is too evident to be doubted...unquestionable...without a doubt. We only have to look around to see the evidence of God. We only have to take a breath to know that He truly exists. There are miracles all around us everyday...we just have to be open to them. We have to believe that they exists. We Are Over Comers!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We are over comers through Christ Jesus! Within ourselves we are not able to overcome obstacles....but when we succumb to Christ, then through, Him we can be. David could not have faced down Goliath without God working through him, especially using something like a slingshot to do it. Our problems look like giants to us as well. And sometimes we just try to ignore the giants rather than trying to get rid of them. Or sometimes we try to accomplish it on our own. We don't have to do that. God can work through us to get rid of our giants. Be Blessed Over Comers Today!

Only Today!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Only Today! We are not promised tomorrow, only today! If we knew that we had just today, starting now....what things would we do differently, do better or which ones would we focus on the most? To know what is of the utmost importance in our lives...we really have to think in terms of "what if I only had today"? We can all use this as a motivator to maybe start those things we have been putting off....or spend more time doing what we love rather than what is getting all of our attention. Be Blessed Today.

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is Magnificent! Today is all about peace. We can have that peace that we seek by truly listening and obeying God's word. When you trust God and cast all your cares on him....then will you know the peace that you long for. Love casteth out all fear. When fear is gone it is replaced by faith....when faith becomes a part of your life....you then experience peace. In John 14:27 it says: "Peace I leave with you; My peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." He Will Take Away Our Fear!

Psalm 34:4 Fear is the one thing that can keep us from going forward in our lives. It can stop up from believing in ourselves and in our God. It can stop us from receiving the very thing that we have been waiting on our whole lives. God will deliver us from our fears if we will just let him. Numbers 6:25 "You have granted me life and favor, and your providence has preserved my spirit." Job 10:12 "For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows grace and favor and glory! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly." Psalm 84:11 I love that part..."no good thing will He withhold from us when we walk uprightly before Him! A great scripture comes from Psalms 27:14 today. "Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord." Psalm 71:15 " For You are my hope; O Lord God, you are my trust from my youth and the source of my confidence. " But read this one ....this should let you know how much God cares for us.... Jeremiah 29:11 " For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome." The final outcome will be just what God has planned it to be; for our good not for evil.... We can rejoice in this today! Be Blessed With Hope

Dedication And Consecration Of A Dream!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Great is our God! Dedication means: self-sacrificing devotion. Consecrate means: to make or declare sacred. It's time to re-dedicate our lives to a new purpose in this new year. Time to consecrate, to make sacred our time this year in all that we do. Sometimes it's easy to lose focus on those dreams that we have inside us. We get busy doing our job, taking care of our family, doing church and outside related activities...but when was the last time we stopped and remembered what we use to dream of doing? When was the last time we felt that passion associated with what we love to do. It's time to re-awaken what is in our hearts...it's time we began to do what has been placed in us from the beginning. We all have something that gives us that yearning and that passion. It's time to wake it up and dedicate ourselves to it again. Let's make that part of us sacred this year and declare that we will work on that part of us! It is never too late to do that which gives us purpose and makes us happy. Actors and Actresses in their 60's are still receiving awards for doing what they love....it's never too late! Be Blessed in Awakening that dream that lies within!

God Is So Good, I Can't Complain!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good to me I can't complain! This was the title of a song I heard when I was a little girl and it has stuck with me ever since. "God is so good to me, more than this world could ever be...God is so good to me, I can't complain." When we remember all the things that God has done for us...we realize that we can't complain. Even though our country's economy may look grim....we are still far better off than other countries around the world! We are a blessed people and we live in a blessed nation. God's Grace Reaches Beyond The Law!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so real! In our natural and spiritual walk their are laws that we are to abide by. However, those laws by themselves cannot make us good people are good christians. They are simply there as a guideline to help us live safer and better lives. By living by the law itself, we cannot expect to do all things right all the time. For that to happen we must have God's grace. The law by itself cannot sanctify us and give us what we need to order to reach the level of godliness that we need. For that we need God's holy spirit. That is the better hope that guides us and keeps us on track. Be Blessed In God's Grace!

I Am With You!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "I am with you". Those are the words spoken many times in the Bible. No matter what God's people were going through, he was there. He doesn't want us to fear where we are going, what we are going to eat, how we will pay our next bill. He wants us to know that He is with us. He doesn't just show up in the good times and leave us in the bad. He is always there. All we have to do is call on him. When we need somebody to help us we call them.... We just need to call on Jesus today. He will never leave us or forsake us. He may be just the peace we feel around us today, or the joy that we experience. Know that no matter what your going through today....God is There! "I Am With You, sayeth the Lord! Be Blessed!

We Are Determined!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Determination is something that lives down inside of each of us. It is something we all have but not everyone uses. We have the determination to do whatever it is that we want or need to do. It was placed in us from the beginning of our creation. We use it for some things but not for others....I submit to you that we are more apt to access it with the things that mean the most to us. When someone gets determined to do something you can bet you won't dissuade them... at least not easily. Why then is there selective determination. If your child was drowning and you needed to save them I can guarantee you that you would find the determination to save that child. Why then when it comes to even the smallest matters, we are afraid to reach down and access that very thing that would solve our situation? There are things in our lives that come up from time to time and we have to make the decision: How important is this to me? Is this the time that I dig deep inside and make a change? Can I have the determination to either walk away from something or walk toward something? More than ever we must make the commitment and have the determination to walk it out! To see it through. To make the harder changes in order to see the higher results. May this year be the year that we all become determined! That we seize each moment and make it ours! That we embrace the harder challenges to reap the higher rewards! Be Blessed With An Abundance Of Determination!-- "I am determined that nothing will seperate me from the Love of God!"

Don't Lose The Promise Land!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is story in the Bible that accurately displays the difference between walking with God through our Ego and walking through the Spirit. When walking through your Ego...you began to think that because you have experienced a little power that you are then free to make major choices on your own without consulting God. On the other hand when you walk in the spirit you remain humble and always consult God before making any moves. As a result of letting Ego take over, we then forfiet the "Promise Land". For Moses it was literally the Promise Land. Moses had led the Isrealites for 40 years listening to them moan and complain. He had been up on the mount and had been given the Ten Commandment.. he had seen miracles beyond which we can only imagine. And he had walked with God and obeyed God. However, there came a time when God ask Moses to do something, and instead of doing it God's way...he chose to do it his way. Because of that choice he was excluded from the Promise Land. Now that may seem harsh to you and me. But the example that this one episode gives us is tremendous. We are faced with many challenges throughout our lives and though God gives us free will, he also wants us to consult him on any decisions to make sure they are the right ones. Imagine being able to look back and see where God has led you to this point. To see the trials and temptations that you have overcome through Christ. Then in one instance....you are in another trial...designed to take you higher...you get weary and instead of consulting God and crying out for his guidance...you make the decision on your own (Ego takes over). Everything that you have accomplished up until now....is gone...the very thing that you have been striving to accomplish in one decision is gone. The promise land has been bypassed. We can avoid this situation today. We can choose to consult God on everything, to walk in humility, to understand that there is a reason that he has to be consulted on everything we do. There is a reason that when we do it his way....we get to enjoy the promise land. May we all walk in the spirit today. Leave our Ego's out of it. For we are truly nothing without him! Be Blessed Today In The Spirit.

Put Your Resolutions In God's Hands!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! It is the time of year when people make resolutions and try to stick with them for the new year. I submit to you that the reason we don't stick to resolutions is that we think about trying to keep them instead of actually doing them. It's starts with simply doing it the first time....not overthinking it... then doing it again and then again....until it becomes a habit. That's how I get myself to exercise. I hate to exercise, but I know that it is good for me and when I am done I feel so much better. I simply get up and do it...I don't let myself think about it because I will talk myself right out of it. When we think about what we want to accomplish for this new year...we need to pray about it...put it in God's hands and then began to walk it out. There are always those first steps...but once you take them then it gets easier and easier. You don't have to have a set regiment....sometimes putting a limit... or a time frame or setting a date for when you will do something just puts more pressure. Just when you think about your goal, do something towards it. It's like little deposits...that way it doesn't become this overwhelming thing but a doable thing. Most of the resolutions made are good ones, ones that are helpful to us all... Let's resolve to be more helpful and loving to all those around us. This life isn't getting easier...it's going to take all of us pulling together to make it through! God Bless Each And EveryOne! May we accomplish so many great things this year!
