What Is Your Burning Bush?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! In order for God to use us specifically in his Kingdom, he has to first get our attention. In the book of Exodus in the Bible, the Lord needed someone to lead his people out of Egypt. Now in watching Moses in his daily life, God knew that Moses was an advocate for justice. He had killed the man who was hurting the Israelite and he had rescued the women at the well. So Moses had already began to use the attributes that God had placed within him. There was only one more thing that God needed to do and that was to get Moses' attention. So he set up the burning bush. When Moses saw that the bush was on fire but was not being consumed, he went closer to inspect. That is when God spoke to him. The same thing holds true in our own lives. We were created for a purpose, but first God has to get our attention! Has he sent us a burning bush? Has something happened recently that really got our attention! When God has our attention, then we can fulfill our purpose. When we see the burning bush....get ready....here comes our purpose! Be Blessed!

It's Not What We Get, But What We Bring!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "It's about what we bring to something, not what we get from it." If we bring love into a situation then that is what we will receive from it. If we bring anger.....then anger we will receive. If we arrive at a situation with expectations, we block the flow of blessings. "That which we withhold is withheld from us; that which we give is given back to us a thousandfold. If we approach our day by determining to bring goodness into that day, that is what we receive. The lesson is that even when we perceive a situation to be bad, if we bring goodness into it and view it with love, then it all works out for good. This philosophy does not fail. Practice this next time. When the situation seems to be bad, change the viewing pattern, take a breath, pause, sprinkle it with a prayer and thoughts of goodness and proceed. The outcome will amaze! No Fear!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We have all heard the saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink!" Well, it's the same in our lives, many times we have been led right to the water of success but was too afraid to drink. So, by embracing our fear, we turned from success and left the water hole, still thirsting! But we don't have to let fear control us. The Bible says to "Fear Not!" For He is with us, He will help us, hold us up .....there is nothing to fear when God is with us! Today, proceed to the water and drink! Where we will never thirst again! Be Blessed!

The Secret To Life!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Everybody wants to know the secret of success. Well I think Emerson summed it up pretty well. It's not all the money we make, for we can't take it with us when we are gone. It's not how big our house is because we can't take that with us either. So chances are we are already successful. If we look carefully, we will see that we really do have all we need. I challenge each of us today, to really take stock of our lives and see the successes that we have already achieved, repeat to ourselves several times, "I have all I need"! Life will seem different when you do. Happiness will envelop us all! Be Blessed!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When we can accept where we are, we will then move to where we need to be. Acceptance is very important for moving forward in our lives. We can't expect to go anywhere until we are happy where we are right here right now. I know sometimes it's hard, but how can we expect to be happy in the future or up ahead, if we are not happy where we are right now? Just because we go to a different place doesn't mean that place will make us happy! We are the only ones who can control our happiness! Find the happiness here, then experience life there! That is why even as small children we instinctively know when we have done something wrong. The difference is as adults, we listen more to others around us than listening to the truth within. In The Midst Of The Storm

Good Morning Christian Peeps! In the midst of the storm, the Lord walked on water to get to Peter and the other disciples. But Peter isn't the only one who can receive a late night visit in the storm. Sometimes when we are in the midst of the storm it's hard to remember the correct thing to do. Especially when we are afraid! But really all we have to do is pray to God and he will come walking on the water to rescue us! He is on time, every time! Be Blessed!

The Amazing Race!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Life is not unlike the show we watch on Television called "The Amazing Race". However, our race is much more important in the end then that one will ever be. But there are some similarities that we have to look at. We are born it seems in a burst of speed, already pushing our way into life with a bang! And there are tasks that we have to learn to perform in order to grow and mature. Then there are the road blocks and the detours and before we know, we are sidelined with confusion on where we need to go. They have explicit instructions on how to run their race as do we... ours is the Bible and although it can be confusing at times and hard to understand, combined with prayer, we can run an amazing race and make it to the finish line.


Just as in the Amazing Race, we can be eliminated, so we should do like Paul and "run with endurance the race that God has set before us!" Be Blessed! 

Do Not Let Me Wander From Your Commandments.....

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I was praying this morning and thinking about this world that we live in. There is so much that is wrong with our world. Everywhere we look there is negative energy. People dying, people falling by the wayside, people giving up. So my prayer was ... Dear Lord, help me that I can remain strong and continue to seek you with my whole heart and not succumb to this negative world that is all around me. Don't let me stray from what I know is right in your eyes, because I become weak and tired. That should be our prayer everyday. We need strength everyday....sometimes it feels like swimming upstream through churning white waters! But through Christ all things are possible and that is the hope for all of us! Be Blessed!

What Is Our Primary Focus?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes we are so focused on what we are doing tonight, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year....that we do not put our full attention on the moment we are living right Now! Right now is The moment that when focused on can cause success to occur. Great things can be accomplished if we truly take each moment at a time and do our best work in that moment. We are given each moment for a reason. If we can't focus on the moment and make it great then we really miss the mark. Then we continue to live in yesterdays and tomorrows and wonder why we can't fully accomplish what God created within us! Why we are so tired and don't have time to enjoy life. Each moment must be lived, experienced, enjoyed and completed.....then and only then will we truly be alive! Be Blessed!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I read this on the back of our bulletin and wanted to share..... 1 Timothy 6:6 Godliness with contentment is great gain. All men live in one of two tents - content or discontent. In which do you live?



The contented man looks beyond his circumstances and sees a better day; The discontented man looks at his circumstances and sees no other way.

The contented man understands the purpose for which he was born; the discontented man looks at other's success with a face that is filled with scorn.

The contented man has surrendered to a purpose that demands his best; the discontented man has selfishly hoarded much and , grasping more, he will not rest.

Where Can We Go?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Where can we go? Well, if we need groceries, we go to the store. If we need gas we go to the gas station. If we need office supplies we go to the Office supply store. But when it comes to our spirit, there is only one place we need to go. The song says, where could I go but to the Lord? No matter what we are experiencing today, God can take care of it! If we need a healing, we can just call on him... If we are lonely, just tell him so. If we need love and feel lost....God is love and He knows where we are. Who Are We?

Why is it so hard to face ourselves alone....we are with ourselves everyday but we haven't spent a moment for ourselves. The only way we can truly live is to find out who we really are. Pay attention to what our minds think about all day...that should give us huge incite into who we are. What are we most concerned about? What kinds of seeds are we sowing? Sometimes we may feel that we are just stumbling along, tip-toeing around situations, tripping over obstacles and fumbling in the dark.
