Wait For The Joy!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Is it possible that if we received everything we ask for the instant we ask for it, wouldn't that rob us of joy? If we never had to wonder if we were going to get something, wouldn't that take away great expectations? If, however, right now we received exactly what we had been asking and waiting for, and it had taken a while.......how would that feel. Wouldn't our faith be increased? And wouldn't the waiting and expectation and anticipation be what facilitated our joy. Sometimes it's the waiting that strengthens us and adds to our character. Sometimes it's the waiting that brings us everything we really wanted and needed. We can't be impatient for we may miss out on the very thing that brings us joy! Be Blessed!

He Will Give Us Rest!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When the burden feels too heavy to bear, we can take it off and give it to God! He tells us in Matthew to come unto Him all that labour and are heavy laden and He will give us rest! So today when it feels like we can't go another step, just know that we can give our problems to Him and He will take them and give us the rest we need to keep going on. Let Jesus lift our burdens today! Be Blessed!

Matthew 11:28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

The Best!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Do continue to believe that with your feeling and your work you are taking part in the greatest; the more strongly you cultivate this belief, the more will reality and the world go forth from it. Rainer Maria Rilke We are a part of the greatest plan on Earth. We are an intricate part of how everything plays out. If only we could grasp that and realize our worth! The lives we affect each day could not happen without us! Lives are changed and saved because of the choices we make each day to show up and be our best! Choose today to be the best! Do the Best! And have the best! We are worth it! Be Blessed!

What Is Happiness....

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Happiness is not something that is experienced once in a while. Happiness can be the way we live our lives. It starts with living with integrity. With letting truth guide who we are. When we do that then our lives began to expand and we find happiness everywhere. Nothing is more rewarding than having a good reputation. Knowing that people can count on us for our word and for being there when they need us. The truth sets us free and creates a place where we can live in happiness. The truth illuminates everything around us. The happiness comes through knowing who we truly are and walking in that knowledge. To find happiness, we must find truth. Be Blessed!

A Wink at Wisdom: When you devote yourself to achieving your goal, you will not be bothered by shallow criticism. Nothing important can be accomplished if you allow yourself to be swayed by some trifling matter, always looking over your shoulder and wondering what others are saying or thinking. The key to achievement is to move forward along your chosen path with determination.

Provision!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Today our provision for whatever we need has already been provided. The squirrels do not wonder where there food will come from today, they know that it will be provided. They don't sit up all night worrying if there will be enough to go around, they already have the assurance from their maker that it is so. We have have the same creator and yet we spend most of our time worrying about what we will eat, what we will wear and how we will pay the bills. If God provides for the squirrels, how much more will he provide for us? Why do we worry, why do we fret? Because we do not trust our creator like the squirrels do. We do not listen to what He tells us to do. He simply tells us to put Him first and everything else will be taken care of. That doesn't seem like a hard task. It is a simple small seed of faith. That's all it takes. Today, lets trust like the squirrels. Let's turn everything over to him. Our provisions are in our store house today.....they were put there yesterday by God. All we have to do is believe that it's there....reach out take what we need. When we don't worry, we can't get in His way! Be Blessed!

Move Beyond!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We face circumstances everyday and sometimes they can feel devastating. However, God can move in our circumstances, if we move beyond our circumstances. We can't just dwell in them and about them. We can turn them over to God and move beyond. Leave it to God. Quit dwelling on them.....leave them in God's loving hands. Recognize that we don't know what to do and that we do not have control. To sit and worry about it would just waste time. Instead turn it over to God, and go on with living. Then before we know it...the circumstance has been resolved and all is well. As we began to use this principle we will see that worry is no more. Stress does not exist the way it did before. Faith becomes our mantra and then God can move continually in our lives. Move beyond today! Be blessed!

A Successful Life. Lesson 2

Good Morning Christian Peeps! * A wink at wisdom: If someone offers you an opportunity but gives you very little time to think about it, chances are it's a no go. God opportunities comes with plenty of time...there is never any hurry.

Our second lesson for living a successful life comes Matthew chapter 5. The wonderful Beatitudes that help our attitudes. 1. Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. 2. Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. 3. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. 4. Blessed are they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. 5. Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. 6. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. 7. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. 8. Blessed are they that are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. There are great lessons in the Bible on how to insure that our lives are successful. Live wonderful today! Be blessed!

Road Map For Success. Lesson 1

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The road map for sucess lies in our hearts. It was given to us before we were born. Over time we have strayed away from our internal road map and have gotten lost and confused. Well, the Bible can bring us back. The Lord tells us how to be sucessful in all things. He gives us detailed ways to accomplish the purpose he has for us. Let's look at the first of these ways. The first are the ten commandments....they still apply today: The Two number one commandments that He gives us are: Love the Lord Thy God with all thine heart and Love thou neighbor as thyself. These were the biggies....then we have: 1. Thou shalt not have any other Gods before me...(TV, houses, cars....anything that stands between us and God) 2. Thou shalt not make any graven images (don't create statures of Gods) 3. Thou shalt not take the Lord thy God's name in vain. (we all know what this means) 4. Remember the sabbath day and keep it holy. ( take a day to just rest and meditate on God) 5. Honor your father and mother so your days may be long on this earth. (I think this is a big one....parents are to be honored.) 6. Thou shalt not murder. 7. Thou shalt not commit adultery 8. Thou Shalt not steal....(that means something as small as a pen that belongs to someone else) 9. Thou shalt not give false testimony against your neighbor....(lie) 10. Thou shalt not covet your neighbors house. (or anything else for that matter). These were the commandments that were given as a guideline for the people of Isreal. We can benefit from reviewing these again and applying them to our lives. Stay tuned for tomorrow's lesson! Be Blessed!

What Are We Doing?.....Does It Have Meaning?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I am reminded of the story of Mary and Martha. When Jesus came to visit them, Martha scurried around trying to make sure the house was clean and there was food available. Mary on the other hand gave all of her attention to Jesus. She stopped everything and sat at Jesus' feet and listened to everything He had to say. This made Martha mad and she questioned Jesus about how her sister wasn't helping her. But Jesus told Martha that she was troubled by too many things and that Mary had chosen the good part that would not be taken away from her. (Luke 10:41-42) Sometimes we are just too busy about things that in the long run have no meaning. Instead of giving time to God we spend it foolishly. When we give our time to God, we set a precedent for our day. If we wrote our activities on paper at the end of the day, how many could we say are worthwhile or had meaning. How many things did we do unto God. How many things were done to honor him? How did we feel about what we said or did that day? If it were our last day......did it have meaning? Time is so precious. We cannot go back and redo the things in the past, but we can make up our minds today to do something meaningful for God. We can take the time to spend with Him so that we can get our direction for the day. Psalms 32:8 says: "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." Be Blessed!

The Truth Shall Make Us Free!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Truth is the light which guides us and keeps us on the right path. Truth is built inside us from the very beginning and the closer we stay to God the easier it is to know, hear and understand that truth. The further we stray from God the harder it is to hear, know and recognize truth. Inside each of us is the ability to discern truth, but sometimes we let other things cloud our judgement. The Bible says: that truth will set us free! That is why it is so important to walk in truth to seek truth and let truth lead us. We all want to be free today, but it's been a while since we really stood for truth and walked it out. Today is the day to become free from lies. Free from what will kill and destroy! Let the light of truth shine today. Show us a better way! Be Blessed! --

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:

Even The Bad Things Have Purpose!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Even the bad things have a purpose in our lives. The Bible says in Romans 8:28....And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. Sometimes we wonder why bad things happen to good people. But we have to see the God attributes working behind the scenes in order to understand the why. We would have to be God and be omnipresent and omniscient in order to know these types of things. And we aren't. So that is where our faith comes in. We have seen bad things turn into good. We have seen people come out of circumstances much stronger and better human beings than they were before. All of our lessons are there to make us stronger, teach us amazing things and to bring us more into our God-like quality that is inside us. We can't understand pain unless we have lived it. We can't understand poverty unless we have been there at some point in our lives. And we certainly can't appreciate our circumstances if they have always been good. We must recognize the lessons in the bad times. Embrace them and cover them with love knowing that God has a purpose and a plan that we cannot see or understand. He says in his word that He will never leave us nor forsake us.....so we don't have to worry when the bad times come.....we just have to trust and know that when it's over everything we be even better than it was before! Let us hold on to this hope today. That no matter what comes our way, God is in it, God has a plan and bad things do have a purpose! Be Blessed!

I Am!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” I am is the present tense. He didn't say, I was, or I am going to be. God is in the present. So we must be in the present when we send up our prayer petitions. We are to live in the present. Yesterday is our past. Tomorrow is our future. Today is our present. When we are in the present we experience everything much more fully. When we take each day for what it is then we are living in the moment. And God is in the moment! He is ever present with us. So we walk with God today in the moment ever present and we thank him for his blessings today. Yesterday is not revisited for it is gone forever. Tomorrow is only a thought and when it becomes today then and only then do we consider it. If we are already living in what we plan to do tomorrow then we have already missed what will happen today. Therefore we are not in the moment and God who is present in this moment cannot bless us. Let us embrace today, live in this moment and receive the blessings of God! Be Blessed!

The Destiny We Are Born With!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! In several Bible stories, we are told of someone who had to endure hardship, complications, confusion and many other things before they were elevated to where God wanted them to be. They were born with a destiny on their lives, but it always came with a price. In each story that I have read, fasting and prayer was a part of that person's life. In order to see results they had to go before the Lord and spend time with the Lord. But God never let them down. As long as they prayed, listened and obeyed, he was always faithful to fulfill their destiny! And what a great destiny! So many people were affected by the fulfillment of the destiny they had on their lives. Joseph, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, Peter, Esther, Job.....the list goes on and on. We must not lose hope! God has a destiny for each of us. But we must examine our lives and see where we are wanting.....see where we could improve our walk with God. My motto has always been: "How bad do you want it?" When we want something bad enough, nothing can or will get in our way! We will move mountains if we have too! So let's decide today to go after our destiny with everything we have! It's waiting for us! Be Blessed!

Row The Oars!!

Good Morning Christian Peeps!  If the wind will not serve, take to the oars.  Destitutus ventis, remos adhibe
Latin Proverb

So many times we sit and wait for the next wind to blow by us to move us into what we think is the right direction. But why must we wait? Why not take up the oars and row ourselves to where we need to be. Or why not row until the next wind blows up? We must be proactive in our destiny. We can pray for direction, listen for God but in the mean time we need to be doing something. It's when we get the focus off ourselves and began to help others that we appear in our destiny. All of a sudden we look up and we are where we have always wanted to be. Our mission in life should be to always help others. We don't have to wait until there is enough money before we help. There are so many other selfless ways that we can reach out and help others. Sometimes it's just giving up time to others. Blessings rain down on us, when we bless others! Be Blessed!

Lead Me Lord I'll Follow...

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is a reason why God tells us not to worry. He can see up ahead on this journey. He knows where the cliffs are, where the mountains are and also where the treacherous turns in our lives are. So we must trust that although we see what looks like a storm up ahead.....God has already planned an alternate route. But we must listen so that He can direct us onto another road. If we are so focused on the storm up ahead we may miss His voice trying to give us different directions. We may miss His divine intervention if we get caught up in the everyday struggles. Trust in the Lord and He will lead us and guide wherever we need to go! Be Blessed!
