The Bible, in Hebrews 12:1, talks about laying aside all the weight and sin that so easily beset us....I looked up the word beset and it means basically "stuff that harasses us" won't leave us alone. But along with putting those sins aside, is running our race that is set before us with patience. So many times we want what we want and we want it now!! Like a baby that is hungry and needs food...we want things now! But the timing of our situation depends upon a number of things... maybe we can't get what we want because we haven't done away with what we don't need. Sometimes we have to "trim the fat" in other words to reap a harvest. Hold on today! Be patient! Get rid of things we don't need in order to make room for the things God wants to give us! Be Blessed!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We have often heard that when one door closes another one opens. Sometimes this seems so cliche that we no longer believe it, especially when the door that closed seemed to be the happiest door ever. But imagine that there are several happy doors slotted to each of us in our life time. That it is possible to move from one happy portion of our lives to another. However, when the one happy door closes we spend so much time at the now closed door that we miss the other happy door that was meant for us. We are so upset at the closing of that door that we can't see the new door that God has for us! Yes, we grieve for the closed door...but don't stay at the closed door too long....don't miss the next wonderful opportunity coming your way. Each door opens to an even greater life! Good Morning Christian Peeps! "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it!" When we are faced with a test, we have what we need to pass the test..... To go through any situation and come out victorious on the other side. God does not bring us to the mountain without every intention of helping us over it. Sometimes we are so focused on trying to take care of the situation ourselves that we forget to ask God to help us. He wants us to trust in Him....release our control and depend on Him. When my Mom was sick... I believed that God was going to heal her and raise her up. We were going to get through, because He was going to heal her. However, that wasn't God's plan... He took her home...that was his plan for her...but He still brought me through. I didn't think I was going to make it.... but He was holding me all the time... and still is. So although it didn't work out the way I thought....God was still there! Recognize that we do not have to stand alone....God is right there! Be Blessed!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is a God! "Even when we can't see the hand of God, we can trace His heart!" There are moments when we feel desperately alone. When we think that no one cares. When we feel abandoned to make our own way. We can't feel God, we can't pray to God and we certainly can't see his hand at work. We may have all experienced these feelings at one time or another....but we must know that although we seem to be walking alone.....God Is There! With the footprints in the sand story....there was only one set of footprints ....but God was doing the carrying. Just like this story, He is carrying us today. We may not see how our situation can work out...but when we trust and look inside we know in our hearts He is taking care of it in His time. Whisper to Him today and I promise He will wrap His arms around. The scripture says: Hebrews 13:5...... "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Be Blessed!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Question? Has our past become our reality? Do we live according to what we used to do? Are we so comfortable with what we know that we can't learn something new? Are we trapped in the past? Learning from the past is a great tool to changing our future for the better....but when we bring the past into our future, we cannot expect to impact our future. If things in the past still stop us from creating a new future then we need to let it go. We need to take the lessons that we need from the past but then move beyond it and expect greater things for our future. Today is all about letting go and letting God! Good Morning Christian Peeps! There are so many successful people in our world that only became successful when they had failed so many times before. The difference is they had the courage to "Begin Again!" We can all succeed! We just have to have the courage to begin again. We can't let our failures stay failures, we must try and try again. Babies fall numerous times when they are learning how to walk... and since they don't understand the word failure, it isn't a part of their vocabulary, so they just keep trying until they get their balance, until they get it right. Scientist try numerous formulas before they get just the right balance to create a medicine or supplement. If they stopped at the first formula that failed, we wouldn't have some of the medicines we need to be well. The message is: no matter what we are trying to accomplish...no matter what has failed in the past....We Can Begin Again!! Be Blessed!

If we were to look inside the physical body while giving forgiveness or receiving forgiveness we would probably see the heart as it begins to literally soften. Sometimes we want to accomplish things but are too afraid to get too far from our comfort zone. We want to do great things but we want to do them at our doorstep. In order to scale mountains we must first go where the mountains are. Don't be afraid to go to the mountain. You have what you need to succeed but you must utilize it. Good Morning Christian Peeps! We all wake up in the morning with mixed feelings....some days we feel great...slept good...jump out of bed and start our day...other days not so much. Some mornings just getting out of bed is a chore! There is a remarkable difference for me between getting out of bed in winter and getting out of bed in spring. When spring begins, there is an awakening of things all around us. Birds begin to twitter, flowers begin to bloom, leaves begin to grow. The sights and sounds of spring are a wonderful thing. It lifts my spirits, it tells me that something new is coming. When we began to awaken to what God has placed within us, we began to get a spring in our step, we have purpose, we know that new things are being born in us...It is exciting! Just as we are encouraged by the warm air and the awakening of spring, so should we be encouraged by what is happening in our spiritual lives. Waking up, feeling renewed, living with purpose....that is what gives us hope for tomorrow. And just like spring, we can spread it around! Be Blessed with a new awakening today!
Measure your health by your sympathy with morning and Spring. If there is no response in you to the awakening of nature, if the prospect of an early morning walk does not banish sleep, if the warble of the first bluebird does not thrill you, know that you need an awakening!

We open the door to our house to be able to go in. What about the door to our heart? Can we open it and let love come in? Can we not be afraid to open the door of opportunity? Good Morning Christian Peeps! Often times Angels are sent on missions of mercy. In the Bible, Angels were sent to protect as in Lot and his family, to send messages as to Abraham and Sarah and to feed Elijah when he was hungry. There are numerous examples of the Lord sending Angels to protect. We know that we are protected if we read the story of Job. The Devil couldn't really touch Job's life until God pulled back the hedge. And He did so knowing that no matter what Satan threw at Job, he would stand. In Psalms 34:7 the Bible says "the angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them." So let not your heart be troubled...for we are protected by our Lord and Savior. He will not put more on us that we can bear. Rest in knowing you have angels all around you today! Be Blessed!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is all around us! I read something yesterday that struck home to me. It said, "Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic!" We don't have to have it all together for God to use us or to accomplish great things. We don't have to be a genius. God made us for a purpose and He has already placed in us the ability to carry that purpose out. We have exactly what we need, to do what needs to be done. Be open minded to new challenges, new doors, new ventures!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good! Today is a new day! Old things are past away and all things become new! We can began each day anew, putting those things that didn't work out so well yesterday behind us. We have an advocate with the Father, that if we fail and make a mistake, Jesus will intercede for us with the Father. (I John 2:1) He will forgive us and we can start over. A lot of times we carry yesterday's mistakes into today causing us to be behind before the day gets started. We don't have to do that. When we fail, we ask God to forgive us and we let them go....let them remain in yesterday so that we may make today a better day. God loves us all so much!! Be Blessed!
