Answer The Call!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is a call that we are all to answer. When a phone rings anywhere it is hard for me to ignore it. My first instinct is to answer and see who it is that is calling. Today, we have caller ID which helps us identify who the caller is before we answer so that if we don't want to talk we don't have to. This can be a good thing or a bad. When we answer the call the mystery is solved, we talk, find out the reason the person called and move on. However, what about our call from God. I hear so many people say they are running from something but not sure what it is. I think deep down they really do know. I ran from my calling for a long time because I was afraid of what it meant for my life. How much would it change....would I be okay with that change...would my friends accept me if the change was weird. So many thoughts run through our minds, so many worries that really once you accept the call and find out what it is all about, doesn't seem that worrisome anymore. We won't know until we take the call. When I finally accepted the call, my life has been richer and happier than I could ever imagined. The "something" that was missing is not missing anymore. I am reading a book for our book club called The Faith Club. This is an excert from it.... "Each and every one of us is called by God. All of us are asked to stand up and be counted, to lead a life worthy of God's respect. Moses was afraid of the challenge God presented to him. But he rose to that challenge. And that's what all the rest of us have to do in life- answer the call of God, rise to the occasion, and accept whatever challenges we face." 'The Faith Club'. Is your phone ringing today? Has is been ringing for a while now and you were just afraid to answer? You don't have to be afraid...he has not called you to do something that he has not already cleared the way for. You just have to trust and step into, surrender and began to walk in it. Be Blessed in Your Calling...Pick up the phone...it's time!

Sweet Peace!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is a peace which passeth all understanding. We can possess a peace that is beyond our understanding. It comes from God. We don't have to understand how or where it comes from only to know that it comes from God. It comes when we trust in God to take us through from day to day, from trial to trial, and beyond. In the midst of the storm there can be peace. When there was a storm on the sea...the disciples who had just been with Jesus began to despair....now we have to understand that these are the same disciples that had walked with Jesus and saw him do miracle after miracle. Then where was their faith? Today we say if only I could witness a miracle...I would then always believe...would we? The disciples had spent countless hours with Jesus as he performed miracle after miracle...but when the going got tough....they faltered in their faith. Trust is something that gives us the freedom of walking right into the storm and passing through...maybe a little bruised but not harmed. Do we not recognize that God is in the midst of whatever storm we are going through...perhaps we forgot to call on him... he is there but instead of asking him to give us peace and believing he is holding our hands throughout...we try to make it on our own. Why do we try to be so strong on our own when we don't have to? It's like being given the tools to build a house but not using them...what is the point? When the disciples cried out to Jesus in the midst of the storm...Jesus simply stepped up and said to the winds...peace be still! and all became quiet. Can't we just call out to him today. Can't we just let him step in...he is waiting to make peace in our lives. God is our peacemaker! Be Blessed with a peace that passeth all understanding!
Phl 4:7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Sweet Surrender!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There is a very real feeling that is associated with surrender. I can remember when I finally surrendered my life to God about 5 years ago for the second time.. This time was different. I completely surrendered. Determined to ride out whatever that meant. I knew it had to be better than the turmoil I was facing everyday. It wasn't that my life was bad...just empty. I had friends, I had a great family, I had a good job. Wonderful children....but something was missing. I had a pretty good sized hole somewhere inside me. When I finally spoke out loud and said "OK God you can have my life"...there was a peace that settled over me that day. Since then there has been a journey of surrenders. We find that our whole being is tied up in surrendering things to God on a daily basis..because if we are not careful, we may let them go only to go back and pick them up. But when we truly walk in submission to God... all things work out for the good. The Bible talks about all things working together to the good of those who love the Lord. Let's consider Love for a moment. When we stood at the altar to marry our beloved... because we loved them we surrendered our name and took his own. From that moment in our walk with love we surrendered our life as a single person and began to walk together as a couple. No longer just obeying our needs and wants but thinking of our spouses' as well. Isn't that what it means to love God? Trusting in that love so much and believing that he knows what is best for us? Knowing that he has our best interests at heart? I find true peace when I just let him make those decisions that are out of my control for me. I find that all I have to do, when something confronts me that I don't know how to deal with, is just bow my head and say a quick prayer...Dear Lord I surrender this problem to you. You know the future and you can see farther than me. Work it out to the best Lord...I thank you for it. Amen. I have seriously seen things began to happen in just moments. It's that beautiful surrender to him. He honors that surrender. It means that I truly love, respect and honor him to take care of me. I know this was long.. but in my vacation state, I am able to let the Holy Spirit truly guide me. I fee that this is truly meant for someone out there today. May you be blessed with true surrender as you watch the desires of your heart manifest.

Unwrap The Most Precious Gift!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I slept in this morning the first in a long time. :) On this Christmas Eve, I would like to give you a gift. It's a gift that was actually made available to you a long time ago. Possibly you forgot about it, or just has not taken the time to unwrap it. A lot was paid for this gift... the most anybody could pay. It wasn't paid with money as you might suppose but with a precious life. All you have to do is take the gift that was freely given and unwrap it and let it affect your life in the most positive way.
That gift is Jesus Christ. He died on the cross that we may have life and have it more abundantly and that we might have it eternally. Won't you take the gift that he has given you? Won't you unwrap this gift and experience the most wonderful gift that you have ever gotten. It will change your life for the better. Be Blessed This Wonderful Christmas Holiday! Remember "Jesus Is The Reason For The Season"!

The Lord Is My Sheppard!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good! This is one of my favorite all time scriptures...Be Blessed Today!

Psalms 23:1-6

The Lord is my sheppard I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside still waters:
He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death: I will fear no evil, for thou art with
me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou annointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

The Joy Of The Lord Is Our Strength!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is merciful! I am not a Bible Scholar, but this scriptures seems to mean to me that although we may have to go through mouring... he will be with us every step of the way. He can turn what seems to be bad into something good. The joy of the Lord is our strength. If we can have joy in Him... then He can be the strength we need in time of sorrow.
The Lord is our strong tower today. Run into it and feel safe and comforted. Be Blessed With The Joy Of The Lord

Pro 18:10
The name of the LORD [is] a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. --
Isa 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Bible Instructions For A Satisfying Life!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Proverbs 3:1-10 (The Living Bible) "My son, never forget the things I've taught you. If you want a long and satisfying life, closely follow my instructions. Never tire of loyalty and kindness. Hold these virtures tightly. Write them deep within your heart. If you want favor with both God and man, and a reputation for good judgment and common sense, then trust the Lord completely; don't ever trust in yourself. In everything you do, put God first and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success. " It goes on to tell us how to get Health and Vitality. "Don't be conceited, sure of your own wisdom. Instead, trust and reverence the Lord, and turn your back on evil; when you do that, then you will be given renewed health and vitality. Honor the Lord by giving him the first part of all your income, and he will fill your barns with wheat and barley and overflow your wine vats with the finest wines." For those of us in search of a wonderful satisfying, healthy, prosperous life... here is the answer. When we trust the Lord and not ourselves, He will fullfil it all. When we walk in His will and not our own, we will triumph. God is All That! Be Blessed Today

Unconditional Love!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is Love! Real Love is caring about the happiness of another person without any thought for what we might get for ourselves. Unconditional love: loving without limitations, conditions, or reservations. We were born knowing and understanding unconditional love, but somewhere along the way we found that by acting a certain way we received rewards that were mistaken for real love. Somewhere along the way someone pointed out our faults and flaws and we begin to see not only ourselves but others in a different light. We quit loving ourselves and everyone else in an unconditional manner. How can we get back to unconditional love...the Real Love? We can model Christ, we can model our Mothers and Fathers. We can began to put back that Real Love that is missing. It takes time but we can do it. We can began to love ourselves and others without limitations, conditions or reservations. We can accept everyone for who they are. We can reach out in love to someone without expecting something in return. A lot of marriages would be so much better off if unconditional love was practiced. We could forgive each other easier if we had unconditional love. Christ loves us unconditionally. No matter how many times we make mistakes, he still loves us. He continues to love us even when we reject him. He continues to love us even when we do or say things that disappoint him. My prayer today is that we can all began to get back to unconditional love. Love without Judgment! Love without limitations! Real Love!
Be Blessed with unconditional love!

Be Like The Willow Tree!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The willow Tree is a magnificently stable tree. The roots are remarkable for their toughness, size, and tenacity of life, and roots readily grow from aerial parts of the plant. Every part of this tree is used for something...environment, medicine, art, pollen for bees to make honey, Energy for bio fuels, Agriculture...and many more. This tree is also very flexible and can withstand very high winds. It's bark which is of high water content makes in flexible when need be. We can be the willow tree, unbendable when circumstances come. We may bend low but we pop right back up. We may weep, but our tears are used to make the flowers grow. We may shed our leaves sometimes but more will grow. We have a consistency in us that can help us withstand the pressures of life. We just have to have the tenacity of a willow tree, that no matter what comes our way... we will stand. We will continue to reach our branches out to others, help others heal, feed others when they are hungry, create energy with our prayers and be flexible in times of trouble. Be planted like a tree beside living waters! Jesus is our living water today. We are the tree that will bend but not fall. Be Blessed!

In The Midst!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! In the midst of the storm... God was there! In the midst of the Fire.. God was there! In the midst of the Lion's Den.. God was there....in the dessert.....in the battle....in the garden....This list goes on and on. No matter what we are in the midst of this morning....God is there! He walks with us and talks with us. He heals us and blesses us. He holds us and believes in us. He is our everything. We must believe that! He is our hope for tomorrow! He surrounds us even when we are going through the batttle. In order to get stronger, we must experience things that make us weak. But the great part about it is ...even though we must go through those things to learn lessons and to get stronger... God is there and he won't let the enemy destroy us. There have been times in my trials that I have prayed and said "God I know I have to go through this but could you back up the enemy so that I can gain more strenth to fight him with... and immediately I felt as if the attack let up. He loves us and wants us to be victorious! We are warriors for him and we can withstand! Be Blessed "In The Midst

Try Something New!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is Good! This is a thought for today. I don't remember how I came by this...but I found it and feel that it is a good message for today. "To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did. When God takes something from your grasp - he is merely opening your hands to receive something better! The will of God will never take you where the grace of God can't reach you! " Sometimes we have to try things we have never tried before in order to see if that is what we are looking for. My boys have a hard time trying new food. But once they do decide to try it usually they end up loving it. Don't be afraid today to step out and do something you may not have tried before. It just might open up the dream that has been asleep in you all this time. And if by chance something you thought you wanted or needed is taken away....remember....maybe God is just removing the thing you don't need in order to give you the very thing you do! God only enhances our lives! Trust in God with all your heart. Today is a beautiful day if your reading this?! The possibilities are limitless! Be Blessed!

Reach Out And Touch Someone!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is everything great and wonderful! Remember when the big telephone company at least for us in the South was something like Southwestern Bell? There slogan on TV was "Reach out and touch someone". This saying came to me this morning and so I began to explore it. Remember when you actually wrote a letter to someone in your own handwriting with stationary? Remember when if you wanted to talk with someone right away, you had to call them? Today we have email. Which can sometimes take away from actually reaching out and touching someone in a personal way. Email can be quite impersonal. Just jot a note but not taking the time to see how that person is really doing. I am as guilty as anyone. I let busyness keep me from reaching out and touching the lives of people I hold so dear. Our moments can be so fleeting and then we are gone. It only takes a few more minutes to personalize the email or write out a letter to that special someone. Or a phone call says a lot. I believe that our main mission on this Earth is to really reach out and touch everyone around us in a positive way. Let's take the time to impact those around us today. It's Christmas, what better time to bless someone today with a letter, a phone call or as the radio station in Grand Rapids is doing...pay for someone behind you in line at McDonalds or at the gas station. We can all do little special things for people... we would be surprised at how wonderful it would make them feel! Be Blessed and May you be touched today!

Joy Comes In The Morning!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "When it rains, it pours". Sometimes when it rains, it rains hard and you wonder when it is going to let up. We all know that it could rain for days. It seems like sometimes that it is not going to let up. Its the same way with the pressures of life. When it rains down problems it seems to pour them. The pressure is so great that we wonder sometimes if we can make it through. The Bible lets us know that we can make it. There is a scripture that says weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. The pressures only last for a moment and then they go away. We just have to hold on and gain our strength from the Lord and his word. When the rain finally stops, the sun appears. Hold on till the morning and everything will be alright. Be Blessed!
Psa 30:5
............ weeping may endure for a night, but joy [cometh] in the morning.

Pace Ourselves!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Think about when we are driving along a road, it may not even be bad weather...but we are needing to get somewhere and all of a sudden a big truck or another vehicle pulls out in front of us. Now if we are in a hurry, we might get mad. But what if that was God trying to get us to pace ourselves. What if by putting that truck in front of us, it saved our lives. Or what if by slowing down we saw something that we otherwise wouldn't have. We talked about the race not being given to the swift but to the one who endures to the end. Well, when we pace ourselves, we are allowing God's timing to become a part of our race. We are not rushing ahead of him, but running with him. Allowing him to control the turns, the stops, the yields. When we do this we not only eliminate some of our frustration but we are allowing God to take us where we are needed, where we can be of service to him. Let's pace ourselves and run alongside God. Let him control our turns, our paths. Be Blessed!

Don't Look For Escape, Just Persevere!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so merciful! Let's explore escape vs perseverance this morning. When we get into deep water trying to cross a small river...we may turn around and think that it might be just as easy to go back the way we came instead of continuing on. But regardless of how afraid we are as we stand in the middle of that high rising river, we must remember that we still have to cross it one way or the other and since we are halfway there the logical thing to do is to persevere not look for escape. If we are always looking for an escape route instead of the finish line....then our journey will take twice as long to complete. When we are afraid, instead of looking for an escape which will cause us to detour, cry out to God who will help us persevere through whatever we are going through. With God we can reach the other side of our trial safely, having gained strength to face the next one with even greater determination and perseverance! Be Blessed Today With Perseverance!

We Have Wireless Communication With Him!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We are a world of wireless technology. We now have wireless phones, computers, internet, guitars...the list goes on. I can remember the time when you talked on the phone you were limited to movement. You couldn't really have a private conversation because usually the phone was mounted on the wall near the kitchen. But these days you can roam wherever...talk in the car, outside....the possibilities are limitless. We can liken this to our spiritual realm as well. In the old days, in order to communicate with God, you had to bring a blood sacrifice and go through the priest. But when Jesus went to Calvary, he severed the old ways of communication. Now we are completely wireless. We can go before him ourselves and talk to him whenever we please. It can be in bed at night, driving in our car... wherever we choose. We can talk with him one on one and no one has to know what we talk about. There are literally no strings or wires attached. We are given a precious freedom of communicating one on one with our Lord! Let's not neglect to use our wireless communication and talk with Him today! Be Blessed!

We Can Stand In The Gap For Each Other!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! When there is a chink in our armour and a hole in our fortress what should we do? Well the obvious answer would be to repair them. Our armour must be solid and our fortress must be fortified to ward off anything that comes against us. However, when the battle is raging, sometimes it's hard to stop and find the time to do this. But that is when we turn to our fellow warriors. We fall back for repairs while they step in the gap for us. We get the repairs done and then it might be our time to step into the gap and let the next warrior repair. We are all here for each other. We are the ones who lift each other up in times of most dire need. I read in Nehemiah last night how when he(Nehemiah) wanted to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem he encountered a lot of opposition. Even though he had the King's blessing on rebuilding the walls...there were those who did not want to see it happen. Because of this, while they were trying to rebuild each wall, they had to set men to stand guard behind the workers to make sure the work was not stopped. That is how we have to be today. In doing the work of the Lord there are those who would like to see it stopped. So we must bind together and become the "watchmen on the wall" so to speak. The guards behind the workers and rotate, protecting each other as we work to get the work done. Be Blessed Today and know that when you are at your lowest, their is someone who is willing to stand in the gap for you!

We Need Fuel To Make It!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Fuel is very important not only for our cars and trucks but for our bodies and for our spiritual walk. When we do not take the time to refuel a car, there is a great likely hood that the car or truck will run out of gas, possibly leaving us stranded somewhere. That's also what happens when we don't refuel our bodies. Some people like me who have sugar problems need to eat several times a day or they will get light headed, weak and began to see a change in the way they think. It's amazing how you can be hopeful and happy, in a great mood and then after having gone all day without eating you start to see a change in your mind and body. You get weak, but the weird thing is, it affects your mind even more. Your thinking begins to deteriorate...you become hopeless and you can't remember things...but then if you grab a bite to eat, immediately you can feel everything start to go back to normal. That is how it works spiritually as well. When we don't pray, read our bible, or even listen to uplifting music...we began to feel ourselves get weak. We began to do things we wouldn't normally do. We began to think things we wouldn't normally think. Everything changes. It's so important that we refuel our cars, our physical bodies but most importantly our spiritual selves. The fuel is provided for us, we just need to use it. Without fuel we could become stranded in a spiritual desert. Let's all refuel so that we can perform more effectively for the Kingdom! Be Blessed Today With Lot's Of Fuel

We Are Overcomers!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We all have what's called a fight or flight mechanism within us. When we meet danger our first instinct is to run! However, this is not appropriate for cases such as when you come upon a bear, lion, tiger....etc. The experts tell you to assume a non agressive stance and protect your vital parts, in hopes that the animal will view you as non threatening and hopefully leave you alone. Now, this is different in our spirtual life. Most attacks originate in our minds. But the difference is that instead of choosing to run we must choose to overcome! Because if we don't overcome and we run....it follows us. And although we may think we got rid of whatever it was we were running from...it will return. The journey in life is that we must grow and in order to grow we must meet things head on! We are overcomers through Christ! Stand firm! With God all things are possible! We Shall Overcome! Be Blessed Overcomers Today!

Run The Race With Endurance!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! There are many types of races. But the race that we are in goes not to the one who is the fastest but the one who endures to the end. We live in what I like to call and what has been referred to many times as a "rat race"...not sure why except the only time I've ever seen a rat running a race is on a wheel with himself. That certainly describes my life sometimes. Nothing but a wheel turning faster than I can run. But our eternal race is set before us and we are to run that race with endurance. I think we are sometimes so worried about the outcome of our race that we forget to concentrate on the actual race itself. Why worry about the finish line when we can't even see over the next hill? The children's story of the turtle and the hare certainly says a lot. We are so focused on how fast we are running our race that we forget there are vital parts to our race. Another scripture comes to mind....for what does it profit a man if he gain the whole world, but lose his soul? It doesn't matter how much money we make or what kind of car we drive or how big our house is when we die. The only thing people will remember about us was our race. How kind were we to people, how many did we reach out to. Were we happy or sad, positive or negative. We can run the race with endurance. We just need to savor each leg of the race. Take time to contemplate our strategy, make every part of the race count. May we run our race with endurance. Include God, for he is our strength. Be Blessed!

Mar 8:36
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Hbr 12:1
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

Leave Your Troubles With God!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I have often talked about giving your problems over to Jesus and trusting that he will take care of them. Here is a portion of a story that I read that I thought might illustrate it well. "A man walked into a telegraph office wanting to send a telegraph. However there was a snow storm and he was concerned that it might not make it to the man he was sending it to. He stated several times to the operator about how it probably wouldn't go through and wanted to know what he thought. The telegraph operator had become impatient with the man and when he ask him what he thought...he simply said.. I'm not running both ends of this telegraph line. I'm only responsible for this end. I am sure that there is someone at the other end of this line who probably knows his business, and he will get the message to the one for whom it is intended. There is no point in trying to carry the resposibility for him. I'll do my part on this end, and leave the rest to him." I love this line...how many times have we prayed to God to help us with a problem but instead of letting him take care of it....we continue to hold on and worry. In Matthew 6:33...the Bible says "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." When we seek Him first, he takes care of the rest! How great is that! Chuck McMurray wrote..."Leave Tomorrow's troubles to tomorrow's strength, tomorrow's work for tomorrow's time, tomorrow's trial to tomorrow's grace and to tomorrow's God."
Be Blessed by turning it all over to him!

The Spirit Of Being Thankful!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! One of my favorite scriptures is "Enter into his gates with Thanksgiving and into his courts with Praise"! I can just envision skipping in through his gates and singing his praises! God is so wonderful! Words cannot describe how glorious he is! Thankful denotes a spirit of being glad and happy about receiving a benefit. We benefit from being able to breathe each day. We benefit from clothes, shoes, warm homes, warm food, warm water, the list could go on and on. We have so much to be thankful for today! Today is the day to begin expressing our gladness for our benefits that God provides! Let that gladness spill over to everyone we meet! Let our thanksgiving be a covering that saturates everyone around us. May today and each day bring you so much joy in your heart that you continue to feel blessed and want to reach out to others. Happy Thanksgiving!

Psa 100:4
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, [And] into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, [and] bless His name.
Col 3:15
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful

Let Us Be Thankful!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! This Thanksgiving, let there be songs and lots of joy! Let us spread good cheer. Let us be Thankful for all of God's wonderful blessings! Let us reach out to someone and help them. Let us give hugs freely and let everyone know of God's love! Pray blessings on everyone you come in contact with. Say extra prayers of Thanksgiving for this wonderful Holiday season! God is good! When we think more of others and less of ourselves, we get more from others and less from ourselves. May the joy of the Lord rest on each and every one of you and may his blessings rain from the sky. --
Jer 30:19
There will be joy and songs of thanksgiving, and I will multiply my people and make of them a great and honored nation.

It's All About Being Thankful!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Almost Thanksgiving! I will not be sending out Christian Peeps on Thursday or Friday. I will be spending quality time with my family!

This whole week is dedicated to Thanksgiving! In the Bible when you brought a sacrifice of Thanksgiving to God there was a certain way to present it. There were several things you needed to make sure you had in order to present the sacrifice properly. We don't have to be so rituallistic today...but we still need to present our Thanksgiving to God with a right spirit. Remember this week all the things we need to be Thankful for! We are not only a blessed nation, but a blessed people! We are rich in so many things. Lets spread Thankfulness wherever we go this week. Have a Thankful and Grateful heart! Be Blessed in Thanksgiving!--
Psa 95:2
Let us come before him with thanksgiving. Let us sing him psalms of praise.

God Is Our Rescuer!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I love snow days as much as my kids! :)
God is our rescuer. There may have been many times in our lives that we were rescued without even knowing it. Suppose there were times when we should have gotten jobs we didn't get or promotions that we didn't get or maybe a record deal we didn't get. Those were times that God prevented us from going in the wrong directions. We have heard that song, "Thank God For Unanswered Prayers", well, it's the truth. Think back to prayers you may have prayed for or wishes that you may have wished for, but now you realize had they come true your life would not be what it is. That was God coming in on time to rescue us once again. The Bible says, "all things work to the good of those who love the Lord". So he wants us to live and walk in the good things....so the next time you get passed over or have to go around the long way......remember, God is just watching out for us and rescueing us from things we cannot see! Be Blessed and safe in God's arms!
Rom 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to [His] purpose.

Climb Up That Mountain!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is miraculous! Have you ever climbed a mountain or a really big hill? If you hadn't done it much it was quite the challenge. Huffing and puffing all the way. Telling yourself that if you could just reach the top you would see such beauty and experience such peace. That is what kept you going all the way to the top...that image of the beautiful scenery! Sometimes our lives feel like we are constantly walking uphill. Steady climbing never quite reaching the top. Giving up before we can make it. Today, you can make it. You can reach the top and experience that serene beauty and peace. Just keep your eye on the prize and no matter what...don't give up. Even if you have to stop and rest and take a breather....do it.....and know that God is right beside you cheering you on. Then once you have gathered your strength...stand up....lift your head and began again...and keep climbing until you reach the top! You can do it. There are people you know stationed along that mountain that is pulling for you, praying for you, believing in you! Be Blessed In Conquering The Mountain!

Take Out The Trash!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is Good! Just like in our home life we find ourselves needing to empty the trash. If your trash is like mine, it seems it is always full. Just when I put in a new bag, I turn around and it needs emptying again. No one likes to take out the trash. It's heavy, smelly and if the bag breaks gets everything really nasty. Sin is like that in our walk with God. We can only ignore it for so long and then it begans to stink up everything around us. If we are not careful, it will began to turn people away with it's smell, and the way it looks. Garbage laying around everywhere is not something you want to look at and when we allow garbage to accumulate in our lives...we began to feel and see the affects of it. We can eliminate our trash (sin) by repenting and asking God for forgiveness. Then just as we leave our physical garbage out by the curb and the garbage truck comes along and takes it away for us; so also will God do that for us. We sweep it up, put it in a bag and give it to God who will take it away. Don't let sin (trash) pile up today. Ask God to take it away and make everything clean again.
Be Blessed!

Ephesians 1:7 (New International Version) (7) In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.

He Is Our Everything!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is Amazing! Psalms 18:32-36 tells us that God is what keeps us going from day to day.. He is our strength! He gives us a shield of salvation....He holds us up and with his gentleness hath made us great! Rely on Jesus today! He is our everything!
Be Blessed!

Psa 18:32
[It is] God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
Psa 18:33
He maketh my feet like hinds' [feet], and setteth me upon my high places.

Psa 18:34
He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

Psa 18:35
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.

Psa 18:36
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.

Moving From Glory To Glory!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so awesome! When we behold the glory of the Lord through a glass (mirror) we see and are changed into that same image...from glory to glory! As we walk with God we experience many things that cause us to grow....as we accomplish each test....we are moved up to another level. For me this is equivalent to levels in school. As we master one level we move to another. We should hold God's levels more important than school levels. Just as we wouldn't think of dropping out of school. We should never consider dropping out of God's annointing. Just as finishing school gives you a different pay scale....so does finishing God's level, except that God's rewards are far greater than money! Imagine the finish line today and know that no matter what test you are experiencing just hold on....because the end of this test is in site and when you pass you get the satisfaction of knowing that you have completed another and are now closer to God than you were before! Now you will be used of God like never before. Don't quit, because if you don't finish this level you will have to go through it again until you master it. Unlike school...Life doesn't let you quit! You will keep going through things until you can master and move on! Let's graduate! Let's master and move up and be used more of God!

Be Blessed!

2 Corinthians 3:18But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Right Here, Right Now!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The Here and the Now! Does this sound familiar? Here I am Lord, I need you Now! We find ourselves sometimes needing God's attention right away. It's in those moments that we need to get serious and let God know that right here right now we need him to come on the scene and help us. Like the blind man we have to cry out with a loud voice and say: "Jesus, thou son of David, how mercy on me! Have you ever felt anxious about a problem, not sure what to do or how to do it.....and knew that if you didn't get a hold of God right away....you weren't sure how you were going to be able to stand? Well, we have the assurance that if we cry out to God, he will arrive and give us relief or a way of escape! It is not his will for us to need him and not be able to find him. He is only a prayer away! If you are feeling anxious about something today, just cry out to God.....in your car, in your shower, wherever, but let him know you mean business right here, right now! Be Blessed!--
Luk 18:38
And he cried, saying, Jesus, [thou] Son of David, have mercy on me.

Nevertheless!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Bro. Steve sent me something that struck a chord. It's the nevertheless moments. I looked up nevertheless and it means simply: in spite of. There are a lot of nevertheless' in the Bible. And we have a lot of those moments in our lives. Nevertheless is a way for one to rise above, or go beyond or stay the course. In spite of what I am going through, I will keep walking, and praying and lifting up Jesus. In spite of the bills of have to pay, I will continue to believe that God can provide. In spite of this sickness I have in my body, I know that Jesus heals. The nevertheless moments are the times we persevere! The times when despite the lack of hope we still keep keeping on! Jesus had a monumental nevertheless moment in the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus faced death but still said nevertheless father, not as I will, but as you will. What if He had not continued when his flesh was weak? Where would we be today? There are so many times when our flesh is weak and we want to give in...but we must say nevertheless, I must keep going. God has our victory right around the corner! Stand firm today and say nevertheless I will follow Him!
Be Blessed In Victory!
Mat 26:39
He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You [will]."

When God's Spirit Moves!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters"....Sometimes we have dark places in our lives. Places that seem unimportant, lost, and without purpose. Places that we don't feel comfortable inviting God into. Places that don't measure up.....but when the spirit of God moves over those places they are changed! God took an earth without form, void and full of darkness and when His spirit moved across it, it became something wonderful....there was light, there was living things, there was dry land seperated from the water. It was good! He took dry bones and breathed His spirit into them and gave them life. God can take our dark places that are void and lifeless and He can breathe His spirit into it and give it life. He can remove the darkness and give us light! He can can take that which is without form and make it beautiful! Let God's spirit wash over you today and be blessed with the transformation!

Gen 1:2
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

God Is The Same Yesterday, Today and Forever!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I would like to extend a special "thank you" to all of our veterans today and a prayer that God would meet their every need today!

You know we all have our issues that we would like the Lord to take care of for us. Some have financial issues, others have physical issues and still others battle depression or sadness. Whatever those issues are today, I submit to you that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. What he did for the woman with an issue of blood, he will do for you. What he did for the blind man he will do for you. Just read about all the miracles he performed in the Bible. The transformation in Saul who became Paul. The parting of the Red Sea. Think of the major task it took to free the children of Isreal out of Egypt. Time after time He saved, healed and rescued His people. They just believed that He could do it and He did. Step out today and believe Him for whatever it is that you are facing. Take that leap of faith, what could it hurt to try God?...could it be that you have tried everything else? It seems hard but it is very simple. Just simply say to God right now....Lord I trust you to supply my need today. Name that need and release it to God....really turn it over to him....worrying doesn't solve a thing and it certainly doesn't create miracles in our lives.

Lord, I pray for everyone who reads this today, that they will receive that which you want to provide them with. Increase their faith so that they can turn it over to you completely and know that it is being done. Because of the circumstances that take place in your realm that we know nothing about, help us to understand that just because we do not get our miracle instantly doesn't mean you aren't setting that miracle up. We know that you want us to simply ask and believe that you can provide for us. We ask this in your name, Jesus. Amen!--
Hbr 13:8
Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday, today, and forever.

God Is Our Soul Provider!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is our sole "soul provider"! He feeds us when we are empty. He lifts us when we are down. He stirs us up when we are complacent. He increases our faith when we are weak. He blesses us when we have need of a blessing. He provides all that our soul desires, if we will only let him. You know when we need a gallon of milk, we don't go to the farm and fleet store....they haven't started carrying milk yet.... We go to a grocery store or to a Walmart. So when your soul is lacking why would we go to our friends expecting them to provide for our soul. Jesus is the only place to receive restoration and renewing for our soul. God's word is the only place to read how we can refill. God is our filling station....He causes our soul to dwell at ease; and our seed to inherit the earth. He has all we need! All we have to do is just ask. Spend some time with him and tell him what we have need of! God Bless You With Restoration and Renewing In Him!

Psa 25:13
His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

We Are The Lord's Army!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Psalms 45: 2-4 "You are the fairest of all; your words are filled with grace; God himself is blessing you forever. Arm yourself , O mighty one, so glorious, so majestic! And in your majesty go on to victory, Defending truth, humility, and justice. Go forth to awe-inspiring deeds!" We are to go forth this morning and every morning defending truth, humility and justice. I love this part, "go forth to awe-inspiring deeds!" We have a work to do for God! We are his soldiers in his army. We are expected to fight for truth and justice and to spread his love to everyone we meet. Be Blessed in the Lord's Army!

Crown Him With Glory!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Psalms 97: 1-6 "Jehovah is King! Let all the earth rejoice! Tell the farthest islands to be glad. Clouds and darkness surround him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne. Fire goes forth before him and burns up all his foes. His lightning flashes out across the world. The earth sees and trembles. The mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens declare his perfect righteousness; every nation sees his glory." Verse: 11-12 Light is sown for the godly and joy for the good. May all who are godly be happy in the Lord and crown him, our holy God. Crown him....give glory to his holy name. Be happy In the Lord...He is our King! Blessings!

God Is!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so wonderful! God Is: He is in the sunrise we see each morning. He is in the air we breathe. He is in the rain that falls and nourishes our earth. He is in our hearts! He is the love that flows abundantly. He is the hand that reaches out to comfort us when we grieve. He is the never failing hope we have of eternal life! He is our refuge in a storm. He is our helper when we are in trouble. He is an ever present God! He is the joy in the morning and the peace late at night. He is our healer! He is our Father! He is: The Alpha and Omega....the beginning and the end! Praise be to God!
Be Blessed because He is!

Psa 46:5
God [is] in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.

God Knows Our Tomorrow!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so Good! What a wonderful thing to have the freedom to vote in an election! Whatever the outcome today...God has us in his hands. He has given us the hope of tomorrow and our future. He is the one who provides stability when things are less than certain. He is the one who rocks us gently when we are confused and seem lost. He loves us when it seems no one else really cares. May we all be thankful for our freedoms, our hopes and our dreams today! May we embrace each other in the common thread that God is our Father. Spread the love of Jesus around like flowers. Let the blush of God's love show on each and every face. And Be Blessed Abundantly!

Feel The Spirit Moving Today!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so loving! There is a song that starts out like this... I can't seem to get it out of my head... "Everytime I feel the spirit, moving in my heart I will pray!" I think that is a way for us to monitor.... a way to feel when we need to pray for others that may be experiencing problems. It is a way to be connected to those around us. We may not always see that someone is in need but if we allow it the Holy Spirit will impress us. We are all connected in Christ Jesus and he wants to use us to help each other. May we feel the spirit moving in our hearts today and may we reach out to someone in need! God's Great Blessings!

Sheltered In The Arms Of God!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We are sheltered in the arms of God. When we are tired in body, spirit and mind, we can find rest in His arms. When the days seem short and the time seems to get lost. When we feel we can't put one foot in front of the other...we can find relief in Jesus. We can draw strength from Him. He is our shelter in the time of storms. Won't you let him shelter you today. Give yourself a break today from all the turmoil....don't push.....just let go and let God. Step softly into today with a prayer that he will hold you and carry you throughout your day. You can smile at others because you know that Jesus is sheltering you from whatever is going on today. Feel His covering! Run into God's strong tower and be sheltered! Blessings!

Psa 61:3
For thou hast been a shelter for me, [and] a strong tower from the enemy.

Not Satisfied? Try Jesus!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so Good!!!! We have all had that meal that just did not hit the spot. Or gone on a trip that didn't make us happy. Gotten a drink of water that just didn't satisfy us. Well, I submit to you....that spiritually speaking...when bread is not enough......when you have eaten your fill and are still not satisfied with what this world has to offer you....when you have tried the things of this world and have been let down.....try Jesus. He is truly the only one who can satisfy that emptiness within...He is the only one who can fill the void. He is the only one who can make you happy when things are falling down all around you... you can have that peace that everything will be alright. That pull that you feel in your deepest inner most being...you can't explain it but you feel it.....that part of you that just can't seem to be complete.....that is Jesus knocking on your day...saying let me in... I can fill that part of you and make you complete and whole again! I encourage anyone today that has an empty place within to just turn to Jesus....He can and will fill it up with His love and his spirit and make you whole! God Bless!

Take Our Hand, Precious Lord!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Hear Our Cry, Hear Our Call, Hold Our Hand Lest We Fall...Take Our Hand Precious Lord, Lead Us On! This is my prayer for our country. I have talked with so many people who feel that this is a critical time for our nation. We must stand for something or we will fall for anything. This is a time for prayer and fasting like never before. As christians everywhere we need to stand for what we believe in....search our hearts and pray that God will lead us in the right direction. I feel this so strongly in my spirit. May our hearts be filled with God's spirit....may we keep him close and let his love over shadow our hearts. Choose this day whom we will serve.....as for me and my house we will serve the Lord!

Jos 24:15
"And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

Let Our Light Shine In This Dark World!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a beautiful morning! I was driving back from dropping Allie off at school around 7:15am and it was dark...but as I headed East I saw a medium size spectrum of light as if the lights of Heaven were just coming on. Have you ever seen the lights of a department store come on...flick, flick one light at a time. It shines so bright because of the darkness around it! Well, this light shone very bright as well and reminded me of our light.....Does our light shine like that in this dark world we live? That should be the first thing we do in the morning is turn on our Heavenly Light...so that it shines bright all day long. When we pray and worship God it causes our lights to shine even brighter! We need to be the light that people see. The light that they can gravitate to when things in their life is so dark! May our light shine even brighter today and always! Be Blessed!

Start Somewhere!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I was praying and thinking about things, mainly about what I wanted to accomplish for God and how to go about it. The holy spirit spoke to me very plainly: Start Somewhere! Then at our Women's Conference this weekend...Pastor Connie mentioned the exact same words. Sometimes I think we look at things so broadly that it overwhelms us....so we just wait hoping for some sign of what we need to do. But God is wanting us to pick a portion of what we are looking at and just go for it. Try something, even if it's wrong....if it doesn't work you can cross that part of it off and go on to the next part of it. I guess what I am trying to say mostly to myself...is that we just can't look at the big picture, we have to break it down into parts like a puzzle and work at it piece by piece. I don't know the best way to do that I am still working that out...but I do know that if we ask God to show us what we need to do or how to go about it He will! He wants us to make a move.....remember faith + action creates something increditable! May God impress us with what we need to not only see the big picture but embrace the parts bit by bit. Blessings!

Where Is Our Vision?

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is a loving God! The Bible talks about "where there is no vision, the people perish. One of the definitions of Vision means: mode of seeing or conceiving. If we are seeing or conceiving where our future is headed then we have a vision. We have a vision of where we want to be in a few years. But many do not have a vision. Many are just aimlessly going about life without a thought for where they are going. They are just existing from day to day. Many approach their walk with God that way...aimlessly attending church from one day to the next not really focusing on what God has called them to do. Where is our vision? Do we know what or where we are going? Do we have a vision and an assurance today of what we need to do to affect the world we live in, or are we expecting others to make that move. I challenge all of us today to get a vision and make a move. When we do nothing we still impact people and the world around us. Not making a decision is still making a decision. May the Lord bless us with a vision and a desire to be decisive people! Be Blessed!--
Pro 29:18

Our Hope Is In The Lord!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Without hope surely we perish! And without hope in Christ our Lord surely we perish! We cannot live without hope. Hope means: to expect with confidence. We have hope for tomorrow, that is what makes us travel from one day to the next. We live in hope of promotions, marriage, babies, we live in hope of our future. With the way our future is shaping up, it is easy to feel your hope start to weaken. But it is now that we must grab onto our Lord which is our hope for eternal life. When we put our hope in the Lord, he will strengthen our hearts and give us the courage we need. I pray for increase in hope for all of us today! God is with us! He loves us, His people and will not let us be discouraged. He has a plan for us and we must trust in Him. May we all feel our hope increase today and feel the love of God all around us! Be Blessed in Hope!

Psa 31:24
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

God Is Knocking!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. The Lord is knocking at your heart today. He wants to come in and have fellowship with you. He wants to be a part of your life in a major way! Want you listen to him today. All those troubles you have been experiencing, all of the pain in your body, all of the heartache....he wants to heal you, save you, and release you of all those troubles! Don't make him stand there and keep knocking, surrender to him, open the door and invite him into your life. He wants to wrap his loving arms around You today! He cares for you like no one else will ever do. He won't reject you, or laugh at you. He made you! You are his most wonderful creation! Open the door today and Be Blessed with His presence!--
Rev 3:20

We Shall Not Be Moved!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so wonderful! We shall not be moved! Like a tree that's planted by the water, we shall not be moved! When we are rooted and grounded in Christ Jesus, we shall not be moved. There will be high winds, strong rains, and all manner of elements in this world come against us, but we shall stand. We shall not fear when heat comes or when their is a drought....nor will we cease from yeilding fruit. Now, think about it this way, there are times when we do feel as if we are in a drought. We don't feel anything, we can't seem to pray. We don't know if we are being affective for God. It feels like we have lost our way. This time is the wilderness or the testing time. Remain planted by the water....do not fear...there may be a drought but you are planted where the water never ceases to flow. Continue to yield fruit. Continue to tell people about Jesus, just because you can't feel him doesn't mean he's not there....God tries our faith, it is tested by fire to become pure as gold. Though Satan comes against you..continue to put one foot in front of the other. God will meet you in your circumstances...you have within you all that you need to get through this wilderness experience....just use it.. and don't give up. Be Blessed With Abundant Faith!

Jer 17:8
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear* when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

1Pe 1:7
that the genuineness of your faith, [being] much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

Faith Chemistry At Work!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Todays Christian Peeps comes from Darlene Foy. This is something that God laid on her heart and I think we can all relate.

We've all heard the terms "Basic Chemistry" at one time or another, but have you ever heard of "Faith Chemistry"? Basic Chemistry is when a base element (substance) is mixed with an extreme element. In doing this an explosion occurs! Well, I was watching Dr. Creflo Dollar teach the other day and he brought out the "Faith Chemistry". If we take "Faith" which is our base element and mix it with "words" our extreme element, we get a quick reaction "JESUS"! James 2:26 says Faith without works is dead. The works in this verse is the action + words put our faith into action! Let's apply this faith chemistry to our lives today and get our quick reation through Jesus! Be Blessed!

God Is On Our Side!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so amazing! You know sometimes it is hard as humans, at least I know for me to get up in the morning and anticipate going to work. It gets mundane sometimes. I was talking with two different people who were bored with their life and their jobs. I found this scripture that speaks to us of working with enthusiasm, as though we were working for the Lord rather than for people. Paul was trying to instruct and encourage the people of Ephesus. We must do all we can to encourage ourselves and others in the Lord. Surround ourselves with the good things of God. Listen to uplifting music, sing uplifting praises on our way to our job. Put as much good as we can into our day to ward off the bad. We all know it takes one bad thought to detour down a different road which certainly puts us on a different path for the day. Be uplifted today that God Is On Your Side! Speak to him this morning as you would your friend...He is listening and willing to help you have a great day! Be loved in the Lord! Blessings! --
Eph 6:7
Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people

God Desires To Talk With Us!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God desires to talk with us everyday. I imagine Him waking us up in the morning desiring for us to talk with Him first. I imagine as a Father it is music to hear us wake up and the first words we whisper is "good morning Lord, I love you". He wants to impart all things wonderful to us...He wants us to hear words of wisdom, if we will take time to listen we will hear instruction for our day...He created us with the ability to hear his voice and know his voice...but with our busy lives we rarely take time to listen.....May we all begin to desire to hear from Him everyday....to talk with Him first, to get our instructions at the beginning of each day. May our ears be awakened each morning to hear from God! Be Blessed!

Isaiah 50: 4b ..............he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

God Wants To Use You!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! We may not be mighty and we may not be noble but that's okay. God says he has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty! We don't have to be the cream of the crop for God to use! We don't have to have a royal linage attached to our birth for God to speak through us or touch someone through us! It doesn't matter our status in life...take a look at Peter, he was a fisherman, and God saw his heart and called him into the ministry. Zacheus was a wee little man who was actually cheating people out of their money but God saw what he could be and spent time with him in love and changed the way he operated from then on. Look at Saul who was in essence a murderer, God changed him and he became a champion for God. God can take the lowest of the low, raise them up and use them for His kingdom. When you have a willing heart, God can do the rest. He has already bestowed the gifts you need to do what he has called you do. Though you may be weak, He will make you strong. Though you may have fear, He can take it all away. Let God use you today! Let Him begin a work in you...You are mighty in Christ Jesus! Be Blessed!

I Corinthians 1:26-27
For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]:

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

We Are All Called To Spread God's Love!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes we may feel small in our eyes and think that we are not doing anything just because what we are doing seems little compared to others. I know we aren't supposed to compare ourselves...but that is what humans tend to do. I was kinda feeling that way this morning and as always God took me to a scripture that opened my eyes. We are not all called to preach, prophecy or go to missions....but we are all called to love others. The scripture I Corinthians 13:1-3 says it all for when we feel we are not doing what we think are the important things for God. There is nothing as important as love is to God...listen to this verse..."Though I speak with tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (love), I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understanding of all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, (love), I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (love), it profiteth me nothing."
Yes those other things are vital to the kingdom of God...but so is love... it is so important to God that we love him and then love our neighbors as ourselves! We must understand that we are all equal in God's eyes and that he has called us all to love! As I was praying this morning, I began to think about what would happen if we began to spread God's love in a way as it has never been done before....There is no telling what we could accomplish in our schools, our government, our nation, if we were to put our minds and hearts together and spread God's love to every person we meet! This is the time and we are the people. Let's go forth today with a renewed spirit and a determination to spread God's love to everyone! Be Blessed and Filled With God's Amazing Love

Cast Your Cares For Real on Jesus!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is Good! I looked up the word cast today. It appears so many times in the KJV of the Bible. The definition was the longest I had ever seen... it went on for days and practically means most anything...the most common being to throw away or get rid of . When we cast our cares or our troubles on The Lord, we give them to Him and he takes care of them. But have we really given them over to Him? I have written about this before, but I feel that it is worth mentioning today. As humans we are creatures of habit...and sometimes we are holding onto things without realizing that we haven't let them go. God can and will take care of any problem you have, but you must first turn it over to Him. He is so faithful! Won't you let him have your cares today. We all pass the email around about God saying, "today I will be taking care of all your problems so don't worry and have a great day!" But do we really believe that He can and will take care of it, I know that we do! Let's let Jesus take care of the problems in our life and let's concentrate on spreading the message of His Love and Salvation to everyone we meet today! Be Blessed IN Jesus!

With Faith The Mountain Is Removed!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! This simple little song came to me while I was praying.. I haven't heard it in a very long time. I think we used to sing it as children. It simply says.. "Faith can move mountains, mountains of fear and of doubt. Faith can move mountains, why don't you try your faith now." When we practice faith, and by practicing I mean putting it to the test. When we do that it becomes stronger and stronger. It's not about how big our faith is. The Bible says if we have faith as a grain of mustard seed we can say to this mountain be thou removed and it will be removed....not moved to a different area of our life but removed which means gone forever. Then He goes on to say....and nothing shall be impossible unto you! I don't know about you this morning but that makes me want to shout! All of our trials and tribulations that we stood stedfast in and refused to give into has now become the very thing that makes our faith stronger so when next trial comes along we have more faith built up with which to stand. If you are in the midst of a trial today, grab a hold of your faith and say to that trial, be thou removed in Jesus Name! Your Faith will see you through! Be Blessed!--
Mat 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

By Faith And Grace, Be Encouraged!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Here are a few grace and faith scriptures to brighten your day! May they encourage you like they do me.

Rom 12:3

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Rom 5:20
Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
2Ti 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
Rom 5:2
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.Be Blessed!

Don't Let Satan Steal Your Peace!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The Joy of the Lord is our strength! I was impressed by God this morning that we are giving our peace and joy away on the little things. Have you ever noticed one minute you feel joy and peace and everything is going smooth and then "wham" your peace is gone...the joy is a faded memory and you are in a bad place fast. Well, that is how satan works. We need to recognize when he there picking away at our peace and joy. We can't be effective christians if all they see are the times we are angry or down. I have begun to notice that he tries to steal mine in the morning as soon as I am done praying. I will be so happy and just getting christian peeps done and the kids will wake up.... that's when I now have to stop take a deep breath so when Graham decides he can't wear a pair of pants "cause they don't feel right" that I just say quietly and sweetly, "okay, go find something to wear" with my teeth clenched ever so tightly. But you get the picture. We have to become more aware of when he begins to sneak in to steal our joy. Stop, count to ten and pray! When we get good at recognizing the signs then we can combat what satan is trying to do. Then we can be more joyful and more peaceful! We can start giving it back to him. Everytime we triumph over him...we are conquering him and we are moving forward with Jesus! I speak joy and peace and triumph over all of us today in Jesus Name! Go out and be effective Christian for Christ! Blessings!

God Is Winking At Us Today!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a wonderful day! The Lord just keeps blessing! We heard something at the conference that I think will make you smile as well as it did us ladies. I had never heard the term "God winks at us" or "God winking at us". I know what your thinking....what does that mean? Well, it's the little things that God does for you that just makes you smile. We had an example on our trip. Two of our ladies went out to eat at a restaurant and the waitress found coupons to cover their meal when they didn't even ask her to. God winked at them. A parking space up close when your are in a hurry. A check in the mail when you didn't expect it. The list could go on and on. Just little blessings to let you know that he is thinking of you. That you are favored. I got to thinking of all the times that God has winked at me and boy does it make me smile. I'm sure if you think about it for a moment you will think of several times that God winked at you! It's the little things isn't it, that just uplift us so much! Today, let's go about our day with the assurance that God is winking at us! Be Blessed!

God Owns The Resources We Need!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is Working! Our Ladies Conference was amazing!

God made the Heavens and the Earth, and God made us. God created the resources that we use today. God owns the crude oil, the minerals, gold and silver...all of our natural resources were created by him. So it stands to reason that since God made them, He wouldn't have a problem creating more for us should we need them! God can, He has and He will continue to provide for us. When our kids come to us for money, they don't think about where we will get the money to give them...they don't worry about the process that goes into obtaining the money we give them...they just know that it is there. That's how we have to be with God. We must go to him asking and just knowing that He will provide and not worry about how He will provide. He is our Father and He is faithful to provide our needs. Be Blessed in all things today!

Create A Good Environment!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so Good! This morning let's think about the environment we create for ourselves on a regular basis. Bro. Finch gave me a word about this last night that is awesome, I just wish that I could do it justice.....
But the gist of what he says is this. What type of environment are we creating for ourselves. The environment is the circumstances, objects, or conditions by which one is surrounded. Where we sit, stand, sleep and communicate! The Bible talks about meditating on God's law day and night. When we take delight in what God wants us to do and we make it a part of our environment....we create an atmosphere of positivity all around us! We can control what we surround ourselves with. We can choose to surround ourselves with the good things of God! This mentality can change our lives in the most wonderful ways! I challenge each of us today meditate and delight in God's law and create an atmosphere of wonderous things! Be Blessed.
Psa 1:2
But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

I Will Live Victoriously!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Our promise today! I will stand steadfast when the waves of life trouble me and knock me about. I will cry out to the Lord with Thanksgiving and Praise because he inhabits the praises of his people. I will proclaim that I am the child of God and nothing can disuade me from my purpose! I will not listen to the wrong voice but hearken onto the Lord My God! I will get back up when I have fallen...by the Grace of God. I will extend my hand to others in love. I will cry unto the mountain tops of God's abundant blessings! I WILL LIVE VICTORIOUSLY! Amen!

Be Blessed as God's beloved People!

God's Grace Covers The Humble!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! In order to live under God's grace we must be willing to be humble. Humble according to the dictionary means: not proud or arrogant; modest , to make meek: to humble one's heart. unpretending, unpretentious The Lord said, If my people who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. This is the formula by which we can save our country, our land. When we all began to humble ourselves and seek God, he will hear us and heal our lands and forgive us our sins! We the christian people of our world must began to seek God for his grace. We can no longer stand by and hope that someone else does the praying for us, but we must answer the call today! May we all become as humble as a little child and seek God for his grace over country!
Be Blessed!

2Ch 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

"............for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble" 1Peter 5:5

Choose Joy!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! How wonderful the Lord is. How beautiful are the days we have been having. There is beauty all around us. It really depends on what we are focusing on. Does our emotions play a part in how we view our world? Are we letting those emotions rule our lives? When we look for good, we find it. When we smile...when we laugh we have the power to change our situations. At the least elevate them to a higher level of joy, so that we can handle them. Are we practicing joy? We make decisions every day that can make or break us. Choose joy today. When you feel emotions taking over a situation....choose joy... things will work out so much better. Be Blessed with an abundance of Joy!

Rejoice In God Protecting Hand!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The Lord defends us today. He has our back. No matter what comes against us he is there defending. He says that when we put our trust in him, we can rejoice, we can shout for joy! We can be joyful knowing that whoever or whatever comes against us, God will take care of it. We don't have to take the matter into our own hands....just trust and give it to God and go about rejoicing knowing that He will take care of it in his own time. Isn't it wonderful to know that God is watching out for us. That he sees when we are mistreated and he comes to our rescue. When we can understand the extint of of God's love, mercy, and grace we will shout. For in his word He repeatedly tells us to trust in Him and He will supply our every need...that means everything that we have need of...there are no limitations on God....All He ask is that we love Him and keep His commandments. Hallelujah! May we wrap ourselves around God's love and protection today! The enemy does not stand a chance! Be blessed by God!

Psa 5:11
But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

Let's Help Our Brothers and Sisters

Good Morning Christian Peeps! As you can see this morning did not get off to a good start. I overslept! :)

I am reminded of what is so important to God. His first two commandments are to Love the Lord our God and the second is to love our brother as ourselves. There are so many of us going through so many things at any given time. And I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have a group of people who are like our family, who will lift us up, pray for us and just be there when we need it. I believe God is really pleased in us when we take the time to stop and lend a helping hand, a kind word, a smile, a hug. Be mindful today of your brother or sister who may not have shared their problems, but may need someone to lean on or just to pray for them. Be Blessed in so many wonderful ways today!

Jesus Is Joy!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Jesus is the center of our Joy. All that is good and perfect comes from him. He's the heart of our commitment, hope for all that we do. Jesus is the center of our Joy. Those are the words of a very beautiful song. Jesus is at the core of our Joy. All we have to do is wrap our lives around him. Let him show us what true joy is! That feeling you have when all is right with the world? You can have that everyday. Sure there will be situations that you face, we all have those...but when you have joy in Jesus, even those situations cannot take away your happiness...because you know that Jesus has everything under control. Abound in Joy today and be Blessed!

We Have Victory In Jesus!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Praise The Lord, Oh My Soul And All That Is Within Me! What a wonderful day! I will trust God today to take me through the waves of ups and downs. He will be my fortress in the time of storms. And when those storms have passed he will be my solace. I will sit and meditate on the good things. I will not let the little things steal my victory! I will not succumb to the evil that is trying to keep me from the blessings of God! I will shout praises unto him until I get a break through and feel the glory of the Lord. God is my Father, he made me and he made me wonderful! Glory be to God in the highest! Be Blessed Today And Revel In The Glory Of The Lord!!!

He Looked Beyond Our Faults And Saw Our Needs!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The Lord Looks beyond our faults today and sees our needs. We have a sinful nature and we fall. We are not perfect. So why do we try to move forward on our own. Why do we not recognize that our Father loves us and wants us to turn to him in everything. Why are we trying to be so strong on our own. He is here for us. No matter what we are experiencing. He is not judging us... he is standing there saying come...come unto me. He is saying I can fix it, I can help you, I can make it all better. Why can't we run to our Father who loves us so much that he gave his life for us! There is no greater love! So, no matter what you feel you have done, turn to him and he will help you make it right. He will bring the peace you are searching for. He looks beyond our faults and sees our needs! Be Blessed Today!

Godliness Is Key!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Praise To God In The Highest! I came across a scripture that I think will make us all feel good today. There is actually a scripture in the Bible that talks about exercise. "For bodily exercise profiteth little....this alone should make us rejoice....but seriously exercise is good for us.... but look at the next line...it is more profitable for us to practice godliness. Now godliness means: conforming to the laws and wishes of God, or of being God like. By being God like we have the promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. The most God-like characteristic to me is Love. When we spread love, we spread Jesus and his message. There are so many people out there that need love today. Look around you and notice how many people lack love. You can see it in their eyes, in the way they walk, in the lack of communication. Reach out in Godliness today! Love as Jesus loves!
Be Blessed!!!!

1Ti 4:8
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

Put Your Beliefs Into Action!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God Is So Good! I want to share with you one step further in our believing in God....our Faith. I submit to you that Faith is the action steps of believing. We can believe in all kinds of things but until we put that faith into action....walking it out, it is just belief. To show you what I mean...imagine that you are on the top of a burning house and your friend down below is saying jump, jump! Now you trust your friend....but do you trust him enough to place your life in his hands by letting go and jumping....thoughts are running...can he catch me....will he catch me. There that is the belief .....you believe...you believe.....you jump....now that is faith! It is putting your beliefs into action. There are action steps that need to be taken today. Some of us have been standing on the edge for a while believing but now it is time to put our faith to work and jump. You believe in God and you Trust in God...now show him by turning loose, letting go and letting God!
Be Blessed Tremendously Today!

Pray Without Ceasing!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Rejoice evermore! The Bible says... Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. I looked up the word ceasing just to be clear on the definition. It says to stop, discontinue. So to pray without ceasing means don't stop, don't discontinue your prayers. But I also give to you the different ways in which we can pray througout our day. Praying in song. Saying prayers. Offering Thanksgiving. Worshiping the Father. Meditating on God. These are ways in which we can pray without ceasing. But don't forget the first part Rejoice Evermore! Rejoicing opens our hearts to prayer. Rejoice today and be in prayer there are so many that need our prayers. Be blessed today!-- ``Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you'' (I Thes. 5:16-18, KJV).

Birth, Death, Fulfillment!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a great God we serve!

This morning I was reading, and this is what I uncovered. Before a vision can be fulfilled, there must first be a birth and a death. When Joseph was young he dreamed of being a great leader (birth)...that was his vision...but before it could be fulfilled...there had to be a dying out of Joseph's will for the Father's will to take over. He was kidnapped, sold into slavery and then condemned to prison (the death) before he was raised up to be the leader he had dreamed about (fulfillment). There are several examples of this throughout the Bible. Abraham, Moses, the disciples....so if we feel as if our dream has not been fulfilled, don't force it...let God do it because he has a process and what may seem like the very worst trial we can imagine (death) could be the last stone being put in place for our fulfillment! God is faithful and knows what is best for us. He put us on this earth for a special purpose and though we may not understand it most times...his plan when allowed to be implemented is better than anything we could dream or do on our own. In the words of Sis. Brenda....Let Go and Let God! May the blessing of God rain down on everyone today!

We Can Do All Things Through Christ!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Today we can start our life with God anew. Today we can begin to walk in faith, knowing that everything we know in the spirit is true. Everything we need to accomplish our destiny is already within. We just need to embrace confidence and proceed with wisdom. We can forgive ourselves of past failures and press toward the successes to come. We need not assume what those successes look like, but have the faith that they will be whatever God wants them to be. Be encouraged today... remember we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us. Be Blessed!

Phl 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Great Is The Lord!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Great is the Lord and Greatly to be praised. Though I walk through valleys, I will praise the Lord. Though I climb many mountains, I will praise the Lord. Though I feel sick in body, I will praise the Lord. When I am happy, I will praise the Lord, When things are going my way, I will praise the Lord. When we praise the Lord in the good times and the bad, we establish a walk of trust and we raise our thoughts and feelings to a new and wonderful level. When we praise, we get the attention of Heaven. Praise the Lord today and reap the blessings!

1Ch 16:25
For the LORD [is] great and greatly to be praised;

We Are The Light Of The World!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a glorious morning! We are the light of the world! We are the city that is set on the hill and cannot be hid. There is so much darkness in our world today. It seems more and more people are losing their way. It's harder now than it has been before. But we are the light of the world. We can turn up our lamps our help our fellow men and women. We can penetrate the darkness for those around us. We can shine God's love to those who are sick at heart, depressed, sad, hopeless,....we can light their way as well. We can envelope them in the warmth of the light! Everyday we can purpose to be God's lamps lit all over the world...spreading the word of God to men and women everywhere! This is the time to rise up together and make this world so bright that Satan cannot find a place to hide! He hates the light and loves the darkness. Let's eliminate all dark areas so that he can't hide. Let's love each other and support each other more than ever before. Be Blessed in God's Light and Let It Shine!!--
Mat 5:14
"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Make God The Owner Of Your Heart!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! I read something that stuck with me. The question is: does God have the key to our heart or is he an honored guest? Now let's explore the difference. If we own the home, we have the keys to the home and we are allowed into every nook and cranny of the home. We are free to come and go as we please. If we are an honored guest of the home we have restricted privileges. We cannot come and go freely. We do not have a key. And we are only welcome in certain parts of the home. We are not privy to everything that goes on in the home. So, now have we given God the key to our heart? If not, He cannot access all the places in our heart without a key. He is limited in where and what he can do. Let's give him a key today, so he can access every hurting or sad or broken parts of our hearts today. Give him the priviledge to come into our hearts and make himself at home. Then he has complete access and can change every part of us for the better.
Be Blessed In Wonderful Ways

Without The Pursuit, There Is No Deliverance!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! The miracles that God gives us couldn't be if we didn't need them. Think about it this way. If Pharoah had not pursued the Isrealites then the miracle of the Red Sea, the cloud by day and the fire by night and the manna from Heaven would not have happened. There would not have been the ultimate deliverance. If Joseph had not gone through being sold by his brothers, raised up only to be cast in prison...he would not have been able to save a nation and his family from hunger. We must first be tested to see what kind of character we have and if we will stand. Then we must be put in a situation that will open doors for miracles. Remember Daniel? Imagine yourself being thrown in a Lion's Den! Could you trust God enough to believe he could shut the Lions' mouth? So if you are feeling like you are being attacked from all sides...remember that it's just temporary and that God is getting ready to do something amazing! Something Miraclous! Believe that God is using your situation to show you a miracle!
Be Blessed With Miracles!

Cross That Bridge When You Get There!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Sometimes we worry about tomorrow whenit has not even arrived. We worry about our Future when it is way outthere before us. There is a saying that says: Cross that bridge when you get there. We can take a lot of anxiety out of our lives just byconcentrating on the moment we are in instead of trying to control theone we are not in. Usually if we wait until we get to the bridgebefore we cross it....things and circumstances have changed anyway andthe way we were thinking of handling it doesn't work anymore. Therebyusing up energy and worrying for nothing. We are to live in the momentand let God handle the future. We cannot change yesterday, we cannotplan for tomorrow, but we can live out today to the best of our abilityand enjoyment. We can make today even better because we are focusingall of our energy to get it right. Let God guide you today....dosomething magnificent today... don't worry about tomorrow.. God has itunder control.Be awesomely blessed today!

Face Each Day With Courage!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God still performs miracles!

Today we will face the day with courage. We will push past the fear that is stopping us from doing what God has placed in our hearts! We know that eveything we need God has already placed within us. Our steps are ordered by the King. We are his annointed, we are his chosen. Whatever we have need of, we need only ask. Today we will face the day with courage! Have courage today, God wants you to. He has already given it to you, he just wants you to use it.

Be blessed with courage today!

Step Out Of Your Comfort Zone!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! Our comfort zone is our place where we are in the familiar. It feels comfortable and it's easy. We may go from day to day not experiencing anything out of the ordinary, just being comfortable. But doesn't that get boring? Where is the excitement?! Sometimes in order to experience something great in our walk with God we have to step out into the unknown...yes it is scary and yes it's uncomfortable but in order to live an extraordinary life we have to be willing to stretch ourselves and step out into the unknown....that is where we find the ability to trust in God...by not knowing what is out there but believing that whatever it is God can get us through is the basis for some wonderful blessings and exciting new things. Anyone who has suceeded in life or accomplished something great has had to step out of the ordinary into the extraordinary. Nothing is ever achieved in the Comfort Zone. If Thomas Edison had not experimented with lightning we wouldn't have light today as we know it. But he didn't stop there, he went on to create so many other wonderful things that we use today. He stepped out of the ordinary into the extraordinary and we can too! God wants to use us for the extraordinary. He is calling us out of our comfort zone. He promises that if you take one step, he will take two. Step out today and become what God has placed in you. Many Blessings!

Embrace Your Dream And Embrace The Wasteland!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so wonderful!

Sometimes we go through wastelands in our christian walk. Believe it or not that is a good thing. God has given us all a dream and for those of us who choose to pursue that dream we are given opportunities to grow. Now it doesn't feel like growth when we are in it. If feels lonely and wearisome. It can feel as if no one is around to care and that even God has deserted us. But those are the times when we are put through test and situations that when we hold on and pass through, we can see the wonderful things we have learned and excelled in. When we look back we can see how far we have come and how much stronger we are for it. When we are given a promotion in our jobs, we must first have worked hard in the jobs that have gotten us to that point and sometimes there are things we would not have learned how to do if we hadn't been tested. The instruction of the wasteland gets us closer to obtaining our dreams. The wasteland is not for the faint at heart.... "it's where the rubber meets the road".... But we are strong enough! God is with us always! He will never leave us or forsake us! Embrace your dream...embrace your wasteland and let God take you to wonderful places in him! Be blessed today!

We Are God's Image!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! God created us in his own image. Therefore we are not Nobodies, we are Somebodies. We are not Ordinary, we are Extra Ordinary! We each have been given a dream (an opportunity to make a difference in the Kingdom) in our souls to fulfill. The emptiness we feel is the dream not being sought after. He gave us free will, but he placed a dream inside of us. We can choose to discard the dream or live it out. The way of the dreamer is not easy for he/she must face many obstacles. Seeking out your dream is not for the weak or the faint at heart. It requires stamina.. strength to get through the times when it looks like you are all alone, times when your weak and thirsty and hungry. He will never leave us or forsake us but we must pursue Faith and believe. He provides everything we need to make it but we must look for those provisions and believe that they exist! We are the image of God, do we embrace that likeness?

Seek out your dream, You Are What God Says You Are! Many Blessings!
Gen 1:27
So God created man in His [own] image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
The Dream Giver is a wonderful book to read by Bruce Wilkinson.
