Good Morning Christian Peeps! This is a long one and I apologize...but I was surfing this morning and decided to look up the reasons why we should not give up and see what was out there....this is what I found. I think this is something we can print and put somewhere so we can refer back. There are so many reasons why we should not give up even when the going gets so rough. I hope that it helps you like it has me. Many Blessings!
25 Scriptural Reasons Not to Give Up
By Steve ArterburnNew Life Ministries
CBN.com – 1. God loves me. I John 4:10 This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
2. My sins are definitely forgiven. Eph. 1:7 He is so rich in kindness that He purchased our freedom through the blood of His Son, and our sins are forgiven.
3. I possess His peace and His righteousness. Rom. 5:1 Therefore, since we have been made right in Gods sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. I Cor. 1:30 God alone made it possible for you to be in Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made Christ to be wisdom itself. He is the One who made us acceptable to God. He made us pure and holy, and He gave Himself to purchase our freedom.
4. I am holy and blameless in Gods sight. Col. 1:22 Yet now He has brought you back as His friends. He has done this through His death on the cross in His own human body. As a result, He has brought you into the very presence of God, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault. Eph. 1:4 Long ago, even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes.
5. He considers me clean, whiter than snow. Psalm 51:7 Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Isaiah 1:18 "Come now, let us argue this out," says the Lord. "No matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can remove it. I can make you as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as crimson, I can make you as white as wool." I John 1:7 But if we are living in the light of Gods presence, just as Christ is, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, cleanses us from every sin.
6. No one can accuse me. Rom. 8:33,34 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for His own? Will God? No! He is the One who has given us right standing with Himself. Who then will condemn us? Will Christ Jesus? No, for He is the One who died for us and was raised to life for us and is sitting at the place of highest honor next to God, pleading for us.
7. God has forgotten my sins, even tomorrows sins. Heb. 8:12 "And I will forgive their wrongdoings, and I will never again remember their sins." Psalm 103:12 He has removed our rebellious acts as far away from us as the east is from the west. I John 1:9 But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.
8. The record of my sins and their requirements have been torn up and destroyed. Col. 2:14 He canceled the record that contained the charges against us. He took it and destroyed it by nailing it to Christs cross.
9. I am a complete, whole person. Col. 2:10 ...and you are complete through your union with Christ. He is the Lord over every ruler and authority in the universe. Col. 4:12 Epaphras, from your city, a servant of Christ Jesus, sends you his greetings. He always prays earnestly for you, asking God to make you strong and perfect, fully confident of the whole will of God.
10. I am Gods handiwork. He did not make a mistake. Eph. 2:10 For we are Gods masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.
11. God is for me! Rom. 8:31 What can we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
12. God will never give me up or abandon me. Heb. 13:5 Stay away from the love of money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, "I will never fail you. I will never forsake you."
13. God rescues and protects me from all harm. Psalm 91:9,10 If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your dwelling.
14. God has given his angels orders to protect His own. Psalm 91:11 For He orders His angels to protect you wherever you go.
15. Nothing and no one is able to separate me from Gods love. Romans 8:38,39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love. Death cant, and life cant. The angels cant, and the demons cant. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell cant keep Gods love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
16. God will supply all my needs. Phil. 4:19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given us in Christ Jesus.
17. I have freedom from the slavery to sin. Rom. 6:22 But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.
18. I have eternal life. I John 5:13 I write this to you who believe in the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
19. I am freely given Gods grace. Eph. 1:6 So we praise God for the wonderful kindness He has poured out on us because we belong to His dearly loved Son.
20. I have been given sufficient faith as a gift from God. Eph. 2:8,9 God saved you by His special favor when you believed. And you cant take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
21. I have an advocate, a defense attorney before the Father. I John 2:1 My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if you do sin, there is someone to plead for you before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the One who pleases God completely.
22. I have the very life of God in me. Rom. 8:9-11 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them are not Christians at all.) Since Christ lives within you, even though your body will die because of sin, you spirit is alive because you have been made right with God. The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as He raised Christ from the dead, He will give life to your mortal body by this same Spirit living within you.
23. God will not allow me to be shaken. Psalm 55:22 Give your burdens to the Lord, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
24. I have strength for every situation. Phil. 4:13 For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need.
25. I am a part of Gods family. Gal. 4:4,5 But when the right time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent Him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that He could adopt us as His very own children

Helping Others, Helps Yourself!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so faithful. Liberal in Greek (eleutheros) means free. The definition is :marked by generosity. When we give to others we prosper ourselves. The scripture below says: he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. When we take a moment to encourage others or lift someone up...we find that it will lift us up as well. Helping others can make us feel good. So the next time we find ourselves down or tired or sick....we can reach out to someone else...forget about our problems long enough to focus on someone else and it can change our day our feelings our lives. Many Blessings Today!
A liberal man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.Proverbs 11:25

Rest In Jesus!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! We Can Rest In Jesus! Mathew 11:28-30 Jesus tells us to come unto Him all that labour and are heavy laden and He says He will give us rest. When we get tired in mind and body, we just need to call upon Him and He will bid us come. He says take my yoke upon you, and learn of me: for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find rest for your souls. Give yourself a mental and physical break today and just rest in Jesus! Be Blessed!
Mathew 11: 28-30
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest. {29}Take my yoke upon you,
and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls. {30} For my yoke
is easy, and my burden is
light.

Fear Not, It Is I!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! What a great day! Beautiful sunshine! And the Holy Spirit shining on the inside! There is a story in the Bible about a storm that came up on the Lake. Peter and several other disciples were on a boat and felt for sure they would perish. The Bible says about three o'clock in the morning....I love this, even if you need in the wee hours of the morning, He is there! About three o'clock in the morning, Jesus came to them, walking on the water. At first the disciples screamed in terror for they thought He was a ghost. But then Jesus, like the wonderful Father He is, spoke to them....He said "Fear not It is I".... I am here, don't be afraid. He was like a Father coming to a child's bedroom when they had had a bad dream. It's okay. I am here.
I want all of us to be encourage that no matter what you might be facing. No matter how big the storm...Jesus is just a whisper a way. He is our Father! He loves us! I dare you to whisper His name today and let Him come to you and make everything alright!
Be Blessed!
But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. Matthew 14:27

Whole-Hearted!!!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Whole-hearted means: completely and sincerely devoted, determined, or enthusiastic. When we whole-heartily put ourselves into something we get a whole-hearted return. If we do things half-heartily then we get a half -hearted return. Being whole-hearted in everything we do creates that atmosphere around us. Our children learn to be whole-hearted in our efforts. Our friends and family see that we give whole hearted and they reciprocate in kind. Be wholehearted for God today! Be Blessed!

Lean Not Unto Our Own Understanding!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! God's word is so great! It can feed us in ways that will help us through whatever situations arise. Proverbs gives us a pretty clear vision of how we can get what we need. How to keep God's laws and how to trust in Him for all we need. If we can trust that God knows where we need to be and when we need to be there, what we need and when we need it, then we can stop the worry and let it happen. Proverbs below says to Trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not into our own understanding. God's understanding is higher than ours. In all our ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct our paths! I love that part. I need Him to direct my path. I am much smarter when I acknowledge His ways above mine. I am much more at peace when I turn it all over to Him! Let Go and Let God today! He will direct us where we need to go! Be Blessed!
Proverbs 3:1-6 NKJV
My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands;
For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you.
Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart,
[And] so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man.Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct [fn] your paths.

We Walk By Faith!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good! We walk by faith not by sight! Sometimes we need a reminder that we need to trust that God will lead the way, not ourselves. We may only see what is in front of us, but God sees what is beyond us. He knows where we will ultimately end up, whereas we can only see the initial road in front of us. We may only see one possible opportunity, but there other opportunities that we don't know are there. But when we put our trust in Him, He will show us the right opportunity. He knows what is best for us! Trust today! Be Blessed!

Soft Rain!
Good Morning Christian Peeps!
Soft Rain
Soft rain that falls quietly to the ground.
It nourishes everything as it falls down.
The soft rain washes everything clean.
It's new again, do you know what I mean?
Soft rain comes from the Heavens above,
It comes softly but it comes with love.
Soft rain falls without a sound,
but we see the wetness all around.
Soft rain gives and gives and gives,
It provides the needs some need to live.
Soft rain that comes and quietly goes,
It makes everything, clean as snow.

God, You Are My God!!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Okay, this is how I feel this morning and I had to share it with you. God is so good and so wonderful.... If I could leave you with anything today, it is Look to God. He is the source of all we need. Many Many Blessings Today!!
O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods;with singing lips my mouth will praise you.On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night.Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me."Psalm 68:1-8

God Will Fight Our Battles!!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Fighting a battle today? Sometimes just getting out of bed and getting ready for work feels like a battle. But God will fight our battles for us! All we have to do is give it to him the minute our feet hits the floor. Dreading going to work because things aren't great there right now...give it to God. Whatever it is he can handle it. There are tests that come at us throughout our day. But there are guidelines that God gives us for handling each situation. Pray before you speak, before you act. Just say a quiet prayer to God to help you handle things correctly and He will! It's amazing how much better our days will be when we give them to God and let Him handle it! Give it to Him! Be Blessed!

I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes.....
Good Morning Christian Peeps! I love this scripture below. I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes!!! When we are going through trouble and we think that nobody cares....Lift Up Thine Eyes! When we can't seem to take another step....Lift Up Thine Eyes! When we are sick all the time and wonder if we will ever be well....Lift Up Thine Eyes! This is just another affirmation that God Is There... Psalm 121.......He is forever watching over us. Be Blessed!
1
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
from whence cometh my help.
2
My help cometh from the LORD,
which made heaven and earth.
3
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4
Behold, he that keepeth Israel
shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5
The LORD is thy keeper:
the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6
The sun shall not smite thee by day,
nor the moon by night.
7
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil:
he shall preserve thy soul.
8
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Leave A Heartprint Today!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Great poem for today!
HEARTPRINTS
Author Unknown
Whatever our hands touch---
We leave fingerprints!
On walls, on furniture,On doorknobs, dishes, books,
As we touch we leave our identity.
Oh please where ever I go today,
Help me leave heartprints!
Heartprints of compassionOf understanding and love.
Heartprints of kindnessand genuine concern.
May my heart touch a lonely neighbor
Or a runaway daughter,
Or an anxious mother,
Or, perhaps, a dear friend!
I shall go out today
To leave heartprints,
And if somone should say"I felt your touch,"May that one sense be...YOUR LOVE
Touching through ME ...
Be Blessed!

If God Be Lifted Up!!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! John 12:32 says "If I be lifted up from the Earth, I will draw all men unto me." The part that stands out for me this morning is "If I be lifted up". God wants to be lifted up, in prayer, in song, in word. When we lift Him up, when we begin to magnify Him, something begins to take place within us. Joy begins to flow, peace comes over us like a river...and things look brighter! He is the answer this morning to all that we need. When we recognize Him as our Father, then a relationship is born and starts to flourish. We realize, He truly is all we need! Lift Him Up! Be Blessed!

Either/Or....Which One Are We?
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Are we affecting people around us or are we infecting them? That is the question today. Are we making it a point to cheer up a room or bring it down. What types of things are we spreading around? Good, positive things or are we spreading negative things? Are people happy to see us or do they wish we hadn't come in today. I think it is important that we pay attention to what kind of witness we have with the world. We can either affect them with our kindness and caring or we can infect them with our insensitivity and selfishness. God wants us to spread love around. We are His hands, His feet, His eyes, His heart. Either/Or.....which one are we? Be Blessed!

God Gives Us What We Need To Defend Ourselves!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! We have all had moments when we needed the courage to say the right words or behave in a right manner. Well, the scripture in Luke 21:14-15 talks about just that. We are not to worry beforehand how we will defend ourselves...for when we pray to God before hand, he will work it all out. He will give us the right spirit, the right words with wisdom to talk with our adversaries....and they won't be able to resist or contradict. So before we approach that certain someone today, stop and take a moment in prayer. Then proceed because we have God going before us! Be Blessed!
-- But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.Luke 21:14-15

Be Expectant Of The Good Things!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! To Expect: to look forward, to anticipate, to consider probable or certain When we expect, we simply are hoping, believing, looking for, knowing. These are all positive aspects. By expecting we are setting into motion our belief system. We are choosing the positive rather than the negative, the good rather than the bad. We are allowing for and getting ready for something to take place. We choose! We open up ourselves to possibilities! We take a chance. Be expectant today of good things! Allow those things to come and be blessed!

SAIL Your Vessel!!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! "To reach a port, we must sail - sail, not tie at anchor - sail, not drift."-- FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT
To get anywhere in life we must take the steps. We must continue to move forward. If we tie at anchor we will go nowhere. If we drif we may drift into dangerous territory. We must sail with confindence this boat of life! Be Blessed!

Our Perception Is Not Reality!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! God is so good! Fear is no longer a fear when confronted. It can only stand in our way if we allow it to. If we ignore it. But when we face it head on....we find it wasn't real after all. It was a perceived threat. Our perception of things sometimes are a lot bigger than in reality. We perceive that we can't do something before we have even tried. We perceive that our day will go bad before it has even started. We perceive that others won't like us before we give them a chance. We perceive that we are in control when we really aren't. When we take fear out of the equation we open ourselves to opportunity. With opportunity comes the reality, not perception that we can forge ahead. That we can achieve anything! Confront fear today, move beyond it to a greater reality that we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us! Be Blessed!
Phil 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Take A Drink From The Fountain!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! Just as we make sure our children are nourished, so must we take care of ourselves. We can't give to others what we don't have. We can't experience joy, if we haven't done anything to be joyful, we can't experience laughter if we don't do something to make ourselves laugh. We can't enjoy health, if we don't do healthful things. We are like a fountain. When we are happy and joyful it seems to spill over to everyone else. When we are sad, people become somber around us. There are several scriptures in the Bible that talk about the fountain of living waters. Jesus was the fountain of living waters...when you drank from the water he gave you, you never thirst again. We can be an example of God's living waters. We can embrace joy, peace, love, laughter, health and let them flow out from us to others. We can effect others in wonderful ways. Be God's fountain of living waters today. Give someone a sample drink of what God can do in their lives. Be Blessed!
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her,Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:10-14)

Don't Look Back! Look Forward!
Good Morning Christian Peeps! When we are looking in the wrong direction, we see the wrong things. If we are looking behind us at the past, then we can't see the future. There are so many wonderful opportunities we may be missing if we are not looking for them. If we are still concerned with what happened yesterday, then we miss what could have happened today. The Bible talked about this when it talked about Lot's Wife. The angel told Lot, his wife and children that God was going to destroy their sinful city that they were living in. He said that God was going to save them...that they were to leave the city and not look back. But Lot's wife was still holding on to the past and what she was leaving, so she looked back turning into a pillar of salt. Now we may not turn into a pillar of salt by looking back at the past, but will be dead on the inside. We can't truly live if we are stuck in the past. We need to let go and began to embrace our new and exciting future. Life is in front of us not behind. Live life to the fullest by looking ahead to all that God has for us! Be Blessed!
