Put Your Resolutions In God's Hands!

Good Morning Christian Peeps! It is the time of year when people make resolutions and try to stick with them for the new year. I submit to you that the reason we don't stick to resolutions is that we think about trying to keep them instead of actually doing them. It's starts with simply doing it the first time....not overthinking it... then doing it again and then again....until it becomes a habit. That's how I get myself to exercise. I hate to exercise, but I know that it is good for me and when I am done I feel so much better. I simply get up and do it...I don't let myself think about it because I will talk myself right out of it. When we think about what we want to accomplish for this new year...we need to pray about it...put it in God's hands and then began to walk it out. There are always those first steps...but once you take them then it gets easier and easier. You don't have to have a set regiment....sometimes putting a limit... or a time frame or setting a date for when you will do something just puts more pressure. Just when you think about your goal, do something towards it. It's like little deposits...that way it doesn't become this overwhelming thing but a doable thing. Most of the resolutions made are good ones, ones that are helpful to us all... Let's resolve to be more helpful and loving to all those around us. This life isn't getting easier...it's going to take all of us pulling together to make it through! God Bless Each And EveryOne! May we accomplish so many great things this year!
